ICS Google widget - LG Revolution

I was hoping someone could get me the the clear ICS style Google search widget. I wouldst uber appreciate it !
Sent using my rooted LG Revolution

It's already in Broken Out...

I know. But I am not currently using that ROM. So I just wanted to find it seperately. I guess I can just pull it from the zip for the broken out rom. Couldn't I ?

You can download the LG widget and install from SD via CWM. The weather widget works fine but the calender, it force close when i tap on it. Still trying to figure out this but unfortunately i was not able to post at the DEV forum.

having this problem in blazingdragon rom too, not sure if this occur on original mdc rom
ok what i installed was the widget only, we need to calendar.apk to work. Anyone have idea where to get it? google gave me nothing.
ok i have figured it out.
1) first download the calendar apk from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=13428866&postcount=15
2)paste the calendar.apk to .../system/app/ using root explorer after enabled r/w.
3)install the calendar widget apk.
4)enjoy your calendar widget which wont stuck anymore
Thanks dude. For my case, I update to fear v8.0 FR15 a moment ago. Reapply the LG widget zipfile and the battery mod zip. The Calender widget workis perfectly now.
I guess is the V8 use back LG Calender. Infact I use back the LG gallery which is better.
Try it. Its so much smoother now on the UI. Calling apps is instant.

Tabr

Just thought I would let anyone using ICS know I have partially ported Tabr widget to work with Icecream Sandwich (Tabr is a scrolling tabbed widget).
Everything I tested works but if you find any bugs let me know!
Still need to polish the widget layout and fix up the settings in a few of the modules...
Get the current dev version here: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/21587776/tabr-zipped.apk

Nice1 ~~
Very very interested in this... Native scrolling gmail & calendar widgets is my favorite thing about ics.
Edit: how do you install this. I renamed file type to a zip. Won't flash in recovery and wouldn't install as apk.
Edit: I miss the fact its dev version lol. Little out of my reach atm lol.

"Who Knows When"
Extended Power Menu
Fix incorrect Battery Usage Display
CRT Off Animation
Automatic APNs
Universal Adrenaline Shot BL - Improves Response
V20P Compatibility
Side Kitchen for V20P Optimization
Remove Music Player from Notification bar
Remove Carrier Label from Notification bar
Relocate "Clear" Button in Notification bar

TweakZV6
Choice of internet browsers
Stock
Dolphin HD
Opera Browser
Firefox
Maxthon
Skyfire
Choice of music players
Stock
DoubleTwist
N7Player
Cubed Player
Google Play Music
Winamp
Crossed out features have been successfully implemented.
Add your suggestions to this thread! I will do my best to add them all.
DO NOT SEND ME A PM WITH SUGGESTIONS. I will delete them.
Maybe the option for no browser at all?
I'd love an install with the very minimum amount of apps. To me, anything available on the market that's included with a ROM is bloat.
As or more options for the install, Dolphin browser HD is my preferred browser.
The ice cream sandwhich keyboard port is a really nice alternative.
I'll try to think of some more tomorrow.
Good idea taking suggestions!

I didnt use the last Bio because the system was read only.
Dolphin HD is the only browser I use but could care less if you put it in the ROM or not.. I have it backed up on Titanium so I don't need the option to install it...
Swype keyboard is also the only keyboard I use... but again put it on there or don't put it on there... doesn't matter one way or another for me. Thanks for all your good work though... your ROM rocks.
oh i dont have lestatious biohazard yet, but i'm downloading v20c kdz as i type... but i do have a suggestion about the whole swype keyboard thing that was mentioned... in the kitchen can we choose between different swype keyboard themes?

The system isn't read only, yo.
You can either use a root browser to modify it or use the kitchen to mount it as read/write.

That'll take a while. It's originally a CyanogenMod theme. Therefore, I'd have to pull all the correct apks.

If a stock ROM kernel doesn't have init.d support, it will not work period.
Well just installed the Tweakz v6 manually. Not sure if I can tell any big difference yet. I'm about to work on some of the build prop tweaks they have listed in that thread as well...I'll keep you updated.

Awesome. Sounds good.
ATTENTION: V20P will now work with BioHazard.
It will use the stock kernel for it and will not have overclockling or init.d support until another developer adds it.
In short, BioHazard will work on V20P.
you guys keep asking lg for the v20p kernel source then the devs can add overclock back.
Dark Lestat, what about adding this to the ROM? I found this thread about fixing the incorrect battery usage display here:

Ported Samsung Touchwiz ClockPackage.apk v2.4 working on ICS and JB

TouchWiz Stock Clock app
***New Update 22th September 2012***
This is a ported touchwiz clock from the Samsung stock roms. It is tested and working on ICS roms and most Jelly Bean roms. This app has been tested in 240dpi (as it is designed for) and 210dpi, tested in English and French. Any graphical problems you might experience are a direct result to changing the dpi, I will not be accepting requests to change the visual layout of the app because as it is it is completely stock and working perfectly for 240dpi (the intended dpi for this phone)
This app is fully functional except for;
1. the map for the world clock (the world clock is working thought)
2. the popup notification notification that tells you your alarm will go off in X hours and X minutes
3. the color of what you have selected in the snooze options (you will be able to see what is selected in the main alarm screen
apart from these minor details everything else is working. Please do not post to tell me about these things, I already know.
I have added languages from all app versions that I could get my hands on. All the usual languages are included, I have recently included Hebrew and Arabic? as requested. If your language is not supported please tell me, and if possible send me a clockpackage.apk from a stock rom with your language (one that you are sure your language is included in)
This clock app is SGS3 themed where possible. See screenshots below.
I have also included a v2.4 +extras zip, this includes the Samsung digital clock widget (SGS3 themed), the Samsung Accuweather widget with transparent background, the Samsung memo app, and ThinkFree Office app.
If you dont want these extras please use the other zip - v2.4
If I have helped you at all, please hit the thanks button
or feel free to buy me a beer / donate
Please test it before you use it!
I will not be held responsible for people who wake up late and lose their job, or miss a flight, etc.
I wont be held responsible for people bricking their phones by doing dumb stuff, just follow the instructions.
Instructions
Copy to zip file to phone SDcard, reboot into CWM and flash, reboot, enjoy
If you are using a previous version of this clock apk please --> backup and delete the old file (HybridTWClock******.apk) from your /system/app folder and then install the new zip in CWM
If you are using CM9 or CM10 or a rom that already has a clock app (deskclock.apk), please note that you do not need to delete the existing clock app for this one to work, - but if you do delete the existing deskclock.apk this one will still work as a stand alone clock

Cool,
no there's no widget with this app, its just the stock clock from i9000, you might be able to try the 'digitalclock.apk' widget which comes with stock sgs2
http://www.mediafire.com/?b41y76589gw8zv6
I'm not sure if it will work though, I think it needs to be ported too..
I don't use that though, I prefer beautiful widget's superclock, it's the same but with the weather in the same space (same size widget)
Oww...and it looks like crap in landscape. ... but its nice that it has the timer. I use it sometimes in the kitchen. Hehe. You guys know other ported cool apps ?

These are all touchwiz apps ported for cm7/9. If you want any of them, you can either ask me to put them in flashable zips, or...
do it yourself by placing that apk in my flashable zip in the OP
Hey, sorry I haven't been back to this post for a while...
I've updated the OP with a new version which fixed the graphical problems of the previous versions, I've also added languages and other things. I have also included a ported version of the Samsung Galaxy 'My Files' app, this will let you choose your own mp3 or other sounds files for alarm tones.
Can someone please test it for me? as I don't have a Nexus S..
Thanks

updated in OP as well
for the extras pack, you will need to make sure that you have enough space on the phone too, I am using cm10 and I had to delete some stuff to make space, I deleted the trebuchet launcher and the latinIME keyboard, as I use apex launcher and swype keyboard which take up much less space, that way I was able to free up some more space

Can you see them in the /system/app folder?
Are they the right size files? I mean the same size files as you see in the zip?
If that is the case maybe they aren't working on the Nexus S, I can't see why not though, it is basically the same phone as the i9000 and the touchwiz dependencies are removed too

Yes, it should work on any phone.
If the CWM zip file doesn't work for you you can install the files manually to where they need to be in the /system/app and /system/media folders and then fix permissions and reboot.
However the screen layout is setup for 240dpi phones, I am running it on my i9000 under 210dpi and it works fine too. Let me know how it goes?
OK I'm using the sensation as you can see I'll let you know

LG Widgets on CM10

Hello friends,
I am actually using my LG OB with CM10 and working fine except freeze rarely... but I would like to get the original LG Widgets on it with weather widgets how and where can I find it?
Thanks in advance for any help
i am on zeus 7.0 rom and i got the original widget's from heuxxx's blog , and if i am not wrong i think you can install them on your phone too using the install zip from sd card option in recovery .
you can find the zip for the widgets here http://huexxxtuff.blogspot.com.es/2012/05/zeus-rom-links.html
Official LG weather widgets works only in Official LG ROMs. Its has integration to other system file/s aside from the apk file. You can use other widget apps available in the market.
LG Weather Widget can be used on other ROMs provided you modify files (decompile). Other device successfully run it, given proper mod. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=23642885&postcount=48
For a better explanation see this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=31766464&postcount=55
The lg weather widget runs just fine on my zeus 7.01 i didnt see any problems with it .
