I had this theme running on my phone with Go Launcher. I have since wiped my phone and forgot to backup the theme. I have searched and searched and searched and cannot find this theme. None of the themes that I apply change the notification bar icons like the one that I have attached did. I swore I had I had found the right one, "Android 4" but the notification icons (3G, WiFi, battery) didnt change.
Does anyone know?
BTW, I am on Android 2.3.6.
The statusbar icon is about playing on framework.. Launcher's theme won't change it..
If u are on custom or deodexed rom, maybe you can playing around with the icons..

I've seen demo videos of ADW where the Open/Close App Drawer button would change its icon when the drawer was open. Mine doesn't... no matter the theme applyed.
It's not a deal breaking thing, but I've always been curious as to why it doesn't work and if there's a fix for it...
For reference, see what happens here when the guy opens the app drawer at the 2:20 mark:
(I'm running Cognition 4.3, but it has never worked with the 2 other ROMs I installed... Never tested it on stock, though)
It doesn't work for me either. I don't think anything is "broken" it just had that feature at one point but all the latest versions of ADW launcher don't. Trust me I've spend many hours trying to figure this out too lol

Yeah, I searched for quite a bit before posting here... But I didn't even find anyone who had the same problem. If this is a removed feature, it's a weird decusion if you ask me.

That is just an idea

I got ninjamorph but can't find the theme apks... Which folder are they in? Thanks
This wasn't even a feature before. It was just the home icon while in the app drawer. You could not change it. ADW lost this when it became possible to change the app drawer icon. Ninja morph will not help in this situation. If you want to replace the app drawer icon just use ADW and create a custom shortcut. I highly doubt that you can have the icon change to something different while in the app drawer anymore.
anyone knows if its possuble to add like a backdrop or overlay to all the default icons to get a more unified look?
or would i nees to manually change every icon?

use launcher pro ..you can get it from the market..it automatically gives frames to the icons wen you click it..or MIUI rom gives permanent frames..more like the apple iphone icons!
U could do that with lp? I never found that but please report back how.
I currently use go launcher that, if u use an icon theme like classic or suave (which I highly raccomend), does just that to all the icons that are not supported by the theme directly.
It's actually a really good launcher but my favorite remains lp.
How do I correctly apply a custom theme? I'm running CM7, and I downloaded the Honeybread theme. When I want to use it I select it with the CM Theme Chooser, and after the reboot it only changed the icons and stuff. I would like to have the 'app bar', at the bottom of every homescreen, to be changed to the one from the theme. How do I fix this?
Go to settings > adw settings and you can change the dock in themes. The cm7 theme chooser only effects icons and status bar as well as a few apps menus.

Thanks for your help, but the in the ADW settings I can only choose the ADW.Default theme. Where do I have to place my theme apk files?
Excuse me, found out that there are special ADW themes. Thanks!

Question: how do I set the dock bar to use downloaded dock bars instead of the adw dock bar? When I set it to no icons it takes away the dock bar and when I set it to anything else the dock bar displays the slots for the launcher icons to go in as + signs .... confused.

,Im using adw ex launcher but think its similar to adw.
1. Adw settings / theme Preferences / Main dock / Custom / adw dock catalog
2 Choose your dock / goto Ui settings/main dock/main dock style select example 3 icons.
3.Now goto homescreen longpress icon in dock choose edit click icon select picture and select adw docks catalog choose your dock again voila its gone....and you have a clean dock.....hope it makes sense.....

That's pretty helpfull too, thankksss!
Huh, I'm trying some themes now, but when I change the theme, actually only the background changes, including some icons. I've selected the option to Use theme icons. When I drag the statusbar down, the wifi widgets etc have a strange white glow wich won't dissapear and the place down under those widgets has an opacity of like 20%. I guess this is a setting from the theme, but how do I change this?
Edit: The icons aren't changing too, just like the battery and wifi indicator. The only thing that changes when I change my theme is the background.
Juist noticed that the dock image is changing too.
Maybe Theme Chooser App which is preinstalled?

Hi, just updated my paid for adw ex and, shock/horror, the ugly google search bar (which i never use) was back on on my desktop.
oh, i remember why i got adw launcher, just drag it to to bin.
er... its not moving, its not moving.
oh, wait a minute, whats the symbol on the end of the serach bar.
well, well, its adw settings.
i will try to recover the previous version of adw unless someone has an easy answer
(just checked on android market reviews and it seems i am not alone)
Isn't there the search widget and a option to for the resistant search bar, based on portrait/landscape?
It is called "Actionbar" and can be disabled.
ADW Settings -> "Screen setting" (or something similar, using it in German where it is called " Bildschirm-Einstellungen") -> Actionbar Design
OK, thanks chris_82. I am back on previous version now. There was also an ugly blue outline when changing screens and a thick white line on my clear dock icons. Also it was "slaggy"
I'll be steering clear of this for now

You can change all of these settings in the settings screen. On my installation adw launcher ex works really well and the new version is on of the smoothest launcher I have ever tried.

So is there a way to change the ugly blue outline added to the screen transitions? I've tried themes and none seem to change this. My phone is not blue and these transition outlines clash horribly.

Can't remember when it started but I'm currently running TrickDroid 5.4.0 with the latest Beast Kernel and any theme I flash is partially installed. I tried the "Tweak and theme" add on for TrickDroid, one in particular, was an option for transparent blinkered/5x6 grid/25 folder mod. Well, blinkfeed is all.black, no transparency.
So I tried SubZ3Ro theme and a lot of elements didn't change. Weather icons, app icons, notification pull down, etc.
What's the deal with that?
I don't think it's the System RW issue because I can install busybox without it rebooting.

In the themes are they set up to work on sprint version or international

I tried running Trickdroid as well with the blacked out zip and subzero. I had a couple if issues with my status bar and camera not working. The blinkfeed was transparent and the feed looked wonderful in blue! I think it's because it's based on the international one.
I'm hoping subzero can get that theme working for viperROM!
