I don't think their is one with sense 4 and a working camera. Icecoldsandwich has a working camera and is stock icecreamsandwich without sense.
When HTC release the official ics for our phone then we will have a sense 4 rom in the Dev section which everything works.

Yeah pyramid versions are slow, these WVGA official roms we have are lightning fast! As fast as 2.1 sense.
I haven't upgraded to the official desire s Rom, but I'm currently using a leaked tweaked ROM based on it! Man its fast!

The one i'm on is pretty good though I agree one made for our device would be better.
I'm sure someone will port the desire s ROM to ours.

Yeah. Or you can get the ota base, and devs like Mike1986 can work on a tweaked.version

Hopefully that will happen soon..
Is like a new ROM to flash, and for some reason I get horrible hspa speeds on 3.5 roms.

nah I tried several radios and checked apn settings, build prop, etc...
I think it has something to do with it having different modules

Oh maybe it is a custom ron port prolem. If you have the official base 3.0/3.5 the problems may be fixed

We been using 3.0 Roms based of Pyramid. Can't wait to we an official 3.0 ROM.

That ROM gives me the hspa people I have with many roms, terrible speeds.
So much that speed rest can't even find a network and the market has no pictures.
Also "based on" does not mean official... I.E. a movie being "based on a true story" is not the same as a true story
i think he means officially for Incredible S, and not Desire S
Hopefully won't be long official sense 3.0 will be nice
cant even wait anymore to read that Inc S owners are getting 3.0 update too..

The latest CM7 Nightlys don't have many bugs, if you notice them at all, and its Android 2.3.7.

False. AFAIK, all resources that would be used to port MIUI are being used to port AOSP instead. Once that is done, porting MIUI is trivial.

That's what I was talking about should have been more clear

MIUI has alot of parts that you can install individually. Like their file explorer is great. Move the apps people have posting from MIUI for non MIUI roms to /system/app and it should work
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1523691 - file explorer
There are 2 options for MIUI,
1. The AOSP route which is the traditional way toget MIUI, or
2. The way that it works on the sensation using sense as a base.
We are Lacking the AOSP port to the holiday and myself completely lacking the ability to help on the AOSP project, I am working on porting the sense based MIUI myself.
Nothing to report on though, this stuff is crazy difficult when your a n00b
ok so can the files from synergye's aosp be used to port miui from any other s3 device ?
and does anyone have a plan of porting cm9 or aokp for the vivid (maybe using synergye's aosp) ?
is this even possible
i can try doing that but i am afraid of a hard brick !

Yes.
Probably.
It's easy after AOSP is done.
Yeah, you probably shouldn't.
So who's working on this and who do I donate to

Nobody is working on MIUI. Synergye is the one you want to donate to for the development on AOSP.
So close we can almost taste it. synergye has 3.0.30 AOSP kernel working, meaning we will have a fully working AOSP ROM very soon. I will be working on MIUI when the time comes.
Meh. I have miui on every android device. If I spend money I would rather spend it on what I like.

You guys are awesome. Thank you all for your hardwork.
ISnt htere an miui rom for vivid?
rafyvitto has ported MIUI V4, which is currently being tested. I am not sure on the ETA when it will be released to the public!

Will we ever get Jelly Bean?

There are a decent number of ICS ROM's for the Incredible S but the only stock ICS ROM's are Playground ICS(Development has been stopped) and IceColdSandwich( No new updates for about a month). There are quite a few Sense 4 ROM's as well but honestly after using stock, I can't go back to Sense.
Official support for CM9 is a long way off, so I don't expect CM10 by this year
I wonder if any dev has started working to port JellyBean onto our device?
Desire HD has 4.1 so likelly IncS will do too..
Need Jellybean
Right now waiting for the Project X Rom of nikhil...
but Yes this device really deserves Jellybean.
I have seen few thread for jellybean on droid Incredible.
May be Devs are already working on the Jellybean port to the Inc S..

[Q]Is there a cm9 rom for our Incredible S

Latest days i have used the Szezso's cm10 and thanked Szezso ,that is a realy smooth rom,but there is a problem, when the screen is off, sometime i have to press the power button twice to active the phone, this is somehow annoying . The cm10 's features is enough , and we have stock Android 4.04,so is there a complete stable cm9 rom based on 4.0.4 for the incredible s Many thanks.
