[MOD]CameraMod: Image compression at 0% -- Higher bitrates for 480,720p

It apparently doesn't install nothing because it changes a file system that increases your bitRate for videos and your photos compressing the image to 0%, so you will have bigger photos/videos but better photos/videos !!!

Im currently using RCMIX3d RUNNY 1.3 . A few minutes ago I flashed CameraMod , but nothing has changed in my camera app
perhaps it doesn't work on Runny BASED roms

i think cm7 rc1 has that issue
cm 7 rc0 has exposures fixed

Can't install Elecont weather 4.1.2. neither from apk nor from titanium backup. Every time it shows "app not installed".Can anybody tell me why though its not a that big issue!!

FAQ
1.some one ask for full language,here i want to say sorry,because we rewrite many system apps like Phone,Mms,Settings.you know we need to modify translation in different language res folder,but we have no people to do this,we just know about English.So we just support Chinese,Englist and Chinese Traditional.So we remove other language to avoid more app force close.So if we based cm9 or aokp,solve this is easily,but we changed too much.I think even I open full language,may cause many force close.
2.somebody feedback some bug or FC in this system.If you can use adb,please give me logcat.If not please tell me how you can appear detaily,then we can fix it next built.PM me or write on this tread both OK,i will carefully check all of relies on this thread.
3.when you choose language to English,please reboot one time and you will see notification bar change to English(This is a bug)
About Lockscreen Chinese.this is China special lunar calendar,can not change to English.

Just tried. Camera doesn't work in bright sunlight because all becomes white.
Most stable ics I have tried but it's not as smooth because all apps are on home screen. There is no app drawer.

not fully work with camera without kernel driver

so far basic camera function works well indoors, the panoramic mode abit wonky havent tried video recording as im trying to download gapps my work pc dosent seem to work well with goo.im site =/

Ok camera doesn't work so well outdoors should be due to brightness levels but still manages to save pics as per preview! :thumbup:

I have ported a new rom cm9.1 from nexus 4g which as a feedback was very stable for their device.
This rom is working fine for me and I have added bravia engine, awesome beats and many tweaks.
mmpblueice theme is added to give it anew look.
Gaming is good
excellent battery
Higher free ram
cm9 stable libs from MT libs
Please note
1.Wipe data and dalvik cache
2. In advanced option
1. Background process should be zero( need to set after every reboot)
2.kill every process as you leave it should be checked.
3.Reboot after first boot.
There are all the patches are available in this forum. please search before asking for the same.

CM9 RC2 and many ROMs bro. Maybe you haven't tried but it works. (But it's inverted)

The USB tethering and wifi still not working any solution.

[MOD][addon.d] Improved Camera

This mod improves the camera on the Nexus 4 by increasing the 720p and 1080p video and audio bitrate, and increasing the image decoding memory cap. This is done without replacing the media_profiles.xml file with a modified one! The script searches for entries and changes them, so no other entries are affected. This ensures the mod is pretty much future proof if any changes are made to other parts of the file in future ROM updates. This mod also includes an addon.d script.
What is addon.d?
On some ROMs, like Cyanogenmod, there are scripts in /system/addon.d that run during a ROM update or flash. They can backup and restore system apps (like Gapps), or perform many other functions. This mod includes an addon.d script, so the mod is not lost during a ROM update! If your ROM doesn't support addon.d, this mod should still flash properly, but you won't benefit from addon.d.
Tested and Confirmed to work on:
CyanogenMod 10.1
It should work on any AOSP based ROM for the Nexus 4. Let us know if it works!

Read the OP. The end result is similar. It's how we get there, plus addon.d that is different.

Looks like the same one you did for the Camera silent but with this one. Nice, will flash so I don't have to reflash everytime.

Everytime I try to open the camera app, it crashes and says " gallery stopped responding"!!

Well i think that happens because the Video bitrate is set too high.
If i am not wrong the mod here does similar things than the other one [MOD] Increase Camera Audio/Video/Image Quality.
So I tried to set once bitrate to 30000000 than to 20000000 and my app crashed everytime.
if i am wrong sorry for my useless post =/

It crashed as i tried to start recording, the app opens and everything but when i press record button, gallery closed..
and when i try restart the app only gallery closed appears (not happening when bitrate is at 20000000 but over that value it happend to me)

I guess I'm a little confused. This mod currently sets the 1080p video bitrate to 20000000, not 30000000. It is or it isn't force closing at 20000000?
