SGS problem .

My SGS has developed a fault 2 days ago I switched the phone off & the next thing I know is I get what looks like a battery laid on its side on the main screen, it appears for 15 seconds then dissapears for 15 seconds & repeats. I can find no way to turn the phone back on while it is like this & have resorted to reloading 2.3 Gingerbread but if once reloaded I then switch the phone off then the problem comes back.
Has anybody come across this problem before & knows how to cure it or is my phone knackered ?
I tried to add a picture of the symbol on the screen & I do not have enough posts to be allowed to.

Have you tried charging it? Silly question but you would be surprised.......

Have you tried flashing a "stock Rom" yet?...

Hopefully this will mean more to you than it does to me !

Many thanks, just installed jvq but still have same fault

I would try an ezbase flash, search in dev for ezbase and follow instructions to the letter, this should get you up and running on a basic rooted deodexed rom, from there you can try a reflash of whatever you want

Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830 - Droid Ace.V2

Hi Experts,
Am using [ROM] [Update 18.08.2012] [Faster Than Ever] Droid ACE v2 Bugs fixed[FireKernel OC] and it is Awesome...Performance and battery life is Extremely well. I found few issues with it...Hope you guys are there to help me :good:
1). WiFi connected and worked well after i flashed into Droid Ace V2. When switch off and switch on the wifi it's connceted but when i open market or browser am getting an error like No connection try. Could you please help me with this error.
2)Could you please provide APK's for Task manager, and Good music player(not real player)

The Wifi problem might be just a problem on your phone. Cause I flashed this rom and my wifi was working just fine. Try reflashing!

@WiFi: I'm using version 2.1 of DroidAce and WiFi work without any issues.
Maybe try flashing 2.1 instead of that 2.0 you're using and see fi the error persists.

what is it for the battery monitor of kernel cocore? startup control but when stop it i cant notice any difference, any ideas? i search on his thread but nothing

If so, that is just measuring battery life and put it in log I think. That do nothing to improve battery life...

Thanks, I thought it would be something like the stamina that has the newest Xperia to increase the battery or something similar, where can i see that log you say?

I have no idea. Search about it in xda.l, maybe it is written for SII and SIII.

Android One Custom Rom Reviews[Chroma Rom]

Hi Guys this Is Joel back with another review of Chroma Rom.
The Rom is based on Android 6.0.1 Android security patch Feb1,2016 with build no. MMB29U
So the Rom is very good in everything except some but first lets see what we got in this rom
Users get stock android experience and some special features included in the special settings named as 'Chroma'
there is no lags no system errors in his rom and it comes with very less apps in this rom users get about 2.2GB internal storage to use.
I have around 54 apps and still i got 407MB storage free.but the only thing which is bad is the battery yes i kinda feel that the software is enhanced but not the battery.After using the battery i feel the experience the stock android 6.0 battery which didnt even lasts for half a day the same is the condition here but there is a solution in which the battery life can be expanded and that is using root.
Solution=U have to root your device [the link will be in the description] and install 3 things 1.Kernal Auditor. 2.Thunderzap Control.
3. Install Thunderzap 5.1 Kernal. After installing the things simply open the kernal auditor and enable 1,2,3, CPU cores and disable the fourth one and set CPU governer into powersave mode thats it reboot the device:good:
Talking about RAM there is no issue i get 540MB free RAM after moderate usage and multitasking works very well.
Thats it guys there is no other bug in the Rom and i recommend u to use this rom for ur daily usage.

UPDATE:
After 12 hours of use, it's very stable, heavily debloated without sacrificing functions, GPS works correctly, had to delete some apps that are not from my taste anymore, but it's very complete. Thanks!
