Hello,
I don't know if it's the cause (upgrade to LC1) but music order is totally destroyed in the stock player... In other playee its still fine... Music's on the sd card. Anyone else? Hope someone know how to fix it.
Thankss!
Take off the sd card... Rescan the library and restart the device with sd card on and again let the media scanner run..now your problem should be solve. I got the same prob when I update and this worked for me.

Right now running the newist victory rom but since i started using it i have been having an issue with all assigned ringtones/notifications defaulting after restart or pluginto USB to transfer files .. any ideas ?
Mine does that too if they are on external. I recommend moving them to internal sd hasn't done it to me since I did

I have tried flashing various roms and have come to the conclusion that my phone is knackered. What do you think?
Symptoms:
(1) When I go into cwm to flash a zip the phone thinks the internal sd-card is the external sd and can't locate the sd card
(2) Sometimes the phone doesn't boot
(3) Sometimes when I boot the applications I have installed are lost
(4) Sometimes when I try to install an app off the market the phone thinks there isn't enough space
(5) If I flash CM9 it comes up with the Encryption error message
My Solutions that haven't worked:
(1) Flashing stock rom jvu/jvz/jw4 with s1_odin_20100512
(2) Flashing EZbase 4 and Darkyrom Resurrection
Does anyone know how to fix my phone? Is it possible to somehow restore my phone to an 'out of the box' state?
Thanks in advance
I started having problems with /sdcard, last week after flashing a CM10 nightly.
Flashed JVU as a test and everything is fine.
Now back to CM10, but now after I boot I go into "storage" and click "mount"
No idea what's going on but I'm functional gain.
When you reflashed did you tick re-partition

No offence but could it be that you flashed an i9000 firmware on your i9003? Your signature says you got an i9003 so I'm a bit confused now... I'm not saying you're stupid, I'm just thinking in all possible directions
Nah, i am using someone else's phone lol! Mine is an i9000!

If I turn the phone on about 20 times it boots. Now on android 4.1 and seems stable if I keep it on. Think my phone must just be getting worn out

Getting error code that means internal sd is fried. Have flashed a zip to switch internal with external. Lets see if this works.

Hello... Recently i bought the galaxy N7000. I have the Ultimate 4.1.2 JB ROM (latest version) and i bought a new 32gb micro SD card. I plugged in the phone and my PC recognize the card. So i replace the destination folder for videos and photos there. When i put a film (700mb) in the card and i try to play it in the phone, my phone plays 1-2 seconds and then stops. My photos are shown stretched and the card seems not to work properly. When i am plugging the card with an adapter in my PC all is good. Videos are playing good and the music too. I format the card in exFAT but nothing happens. i also install the MX Player PRO but i have the same issue. What should i do? Anyone have the same issue???? (when i flashed the ROM, i didn't have the card inside).
Sorry for my English...
Partition fs should be fat32.

I already done that, but i have the same issue...
Stretched pictures doesnt seem likea rw problem anyway.
Try a recent aosp (cyanogenmod for instance) rom, vlc as mediaplayer and the default android image browser.
Stay with fat32, if the problem remains come back.

A rom? Paranoid android, or cyanogenmod.
Make a backup first (using cwm recovery)

Definitely not a RW problem. Sounds like a bug in whatever ROM you're on.

I used another card and all goes well. Maybe is a problem with the card...!!!
Hello guys!
Today I listened to music, an hour later these music files were not in the player list anymore, but I know that they are existing on sd card because I can find them with file manager. I already wiped cache, installed other players, deleted .nomedia files, restarted device etc. I don't want to hard reset, maybe I will flash firmware the next days if there is no other solution.
Please post solutions here if you have some. And sorry for bad english

Is there a file in your music folder called .nomedia?
AW: Music files not existing in music player
Yes I searched for them..and deleted some. But they were not in the music folder
I already have made full wipe now, other firmware, hard reset but couldn't solve the problem.

Okay power amp does its job but I want to use other players...It can't be a solution to use other players because there are files which can't be found in the normal one.

Anyone know why my s3 is doing this? I've done a hard reset running stock 4.1.2 I have had custom roms on in the past also have an external sd card
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda app-developers app
Maybe the sd card became defective? Try testing with another card to rule out the possibility of the phone being the problem.
I believe I may have sorted it for now I'll keep you updated I've changed the storage of where the photos are stored to phone and I'm gonna format my card and change back see if that sorts it out
