Hi,
Shazam is a cool application that recognizes music and tells you the who, what, where, when about it. It is availble for iPhones. I read that it is also available for the Android platform. Has anyone here got that running and if so, could they check out if Shazam can be made available for the Raphael (or any other WM device, for that matter).
I'd be very happy.

There are a few cabs of it floating around. Search for Music ID
It had been posted on PPCGeeks, but was pulled, according to the poster, because of a legal threat from the publisher.

Your Fuze should already have it,located in programs Music ID.
IF your looking for the FREE version it is no longer available. If you searched the forum for Shazam MusicID you would have found this in an abundant amount of threads. The days when Shazam made a free version are gone. It costs $ now!

Possibly not 100% accurate, i found a version on here yesterday after spending about 20 mins with the search button. There were several trial versions, a couple of deleted links & some qvga / non-touch versions. The one i found works perfectly on my UK T-mob vario IV. Yes, in the "help" section it tells me that i can use it as much as possible for a fixed subscription, and that if i visit a cingular website i can remove the subscription from my (i guess) cingular account (which, being in the UK i dont have).
I've also read that they ditched the subscription idea some time ago (presumably they make their money from you buying the full tracks or ring tones etc etc).
The cab files are out there, i dont know if they are permitted under forum rules (some versions have been removed at the request of a copyright holder) so if you want one, search & download before the mods are asked to delete them.

I go to this site for new stuff for games and software that i may need to use. the site is blownfuze.org take a look and you will find alot of stuff and there is no megaload link, it is straight link from the site to download the cab or zip. hope this help from a fellow tael user.

Get Mango on it by following the How To's in the WP7 forum here on XDA. Or Sideload 3rd Party apps using Tom's Xap Installer or similar.

It adds many, many new features to the OS. The best way to find out would be to watch a Demo of it from one of Microsoft's events that you'll find on YouTube. i'll try and find a good one for you...

1) Don't use all caps.
2) There's a *reason* this site doesn't let new members post in the dev sections. Do a bit of research first.
3) ROM creation is not a trivial process even where it's possible.
4) Is there even a public exploit for custom ROMs on HTC WP8 at all yet? There was talk of it but I've heard nothing more.

I suggest that you get familiar with the windows phone usage first, and then think about more advanced topic.
Also: For one, the video you linked is a concept video by a fan. That isn't a real design that is being implemented.
Secondly, the work it would take to mimic that would have to be done very low level, with access to rewriting the OS itself, which isn't possible.
I'm very new to app development. I really don't even know much about coding, but I am a quick learn and can figure things out usually by looking at them. What I am wanting to do is eluding me though. I have created an app for my lumia 920 on the Microsoft app development site. I got it the way I wanted, and add my youtube channel to it. What I am doing is creating an app for my windows phone 8 to showcase the content on my website camcordertv.com. My problem is I need to be able to have each section of the site only show the videos that belong with that show on my youtube channel. For example: I have a show called Count Drahoon's Festival of Fright, and a section on my app for that particular series, but with the way the app development site is you can't tell it to only show certain videos for certain sections. I know you can do it in visual studio using the youtube api functions, but I don't know how to do that. Is there anyone that could help guide me through the steps to get this done. I would really appreciate it. Thank you so much.
