Hi.
Shut your Phone down and then:
Press and hold HOME + VOLUME DOWN + POWER ON.
Wait until the Pohne boots in download mode.
Confirm the security question
Now in the upper left corner is:
"CUSTOM BINARY DOWNLOAD: NO"
if there is NO then your counter is 0.
otherwise there is a number.

im sure this has been asked befor but how do i unlock my bootloader.
i know that if i do it i can install different drivers and that but is there like a special way to do it.
the details of my x8 are: iv rooted and installed gingerdx v013.su binary not updated cuz i will screw up my phone (from reading posts saying that when they updated binary it screwed up)but i updated the app and it is fully working.

Im getting desperate, PLEASE HELP!
ok, so yesterday i got a new SGS3 Mini I8190 with android version 4.1.1, i wanted to pass the apps that i downloaded to the SD card. so i saw that i had to root the phone bla bla bla. i try rooting it with odin following a website's tutorial on how to.
i get it into download mode and start followonf that tutorial. in a few seconds, the first square at odin says ''failed'' and my phone has almost 3/4 of the blue bar filled, and i cant do that. later i try turning it on and it has a phone, some dots, a yellow triangle with an exclamation sign, some more dots, and a computer.
then i dont know why, i just cant turn it on, i connect it and then theres only an icon that i think it means it charging but its fully charged!! its like a star that should spin but doesnt.
Please help me and let me know what to do, IM VERY NERVOUS.
if it works, i have Windows 7 x64.

Can you get into DOWNLOAD MODE?
If you can, you may be able to flash the firmware again.

yes i can, and if recovery mode is the one that says the name of the phone on it, then yes i can also get in it. thank u, please tell me how to fix this

Download Mode is by taking off he battery and then put the battery back into your phone, then press volume down button + home button + power button simultanteously.
You can download a stock firmware from this site:

and please flash custom recovery like cwm or twrp
if three button combo wont work for recovery look in here

I unbricked my i777 using an unbrick method for the i9100 it worked but now my home key works as my back key and the only other button that works is my menu key which does what it should, a USB jig won't even put it in download mode now, please tell me there's a solution to this I'm running 4.0.3 -_- would appreciate all your help and input thanks!

you need to go here and most likely reflash the original Firmware, for download mode look here for guidance

Thanks but I got it going, had to root it then go into cwm and installed shostock ROM for i777 , got it all Woking again I appreciate the help though

Did you flashed the rom.correctly like wiping all necessary things
now go.back to stock rom through odin and then try that rom again
this time before flashing the rom wipe cache partition , dalvik cache,factory reset formar data , system cache and flash that rom again
i think that will work if not then revert to stock rom and try another rom

i watched a tutorial and the recovery it had didnt let my cellphone enter in recovery mode, so i flashed an older one (v5.0.2.8 i think) and it looks like it worked, but now its not turning on and im starting to freak out xD
Are you sure you didnt flash something meant for other device?I am asking because you are posting in a different device's section.

if you can try blade eagle rom for your ace it is based on stock also if you wanna go for cm 10.1 go for cm by @Mardon also he is working on cm 11 {kitkat }

I guess that its bricked. Try to download the stock rom from Sam Mobile and flash it via odin. Your phone will be good as new. If you're a newbie, try not to experiment with certain roms and please don't use Rom manager on ace, it would brick your phone...!
