Have you tried to download OTA rootkeeper and choose Hide Root from inside it ?
Its ridiculous how it wont work with rooted phones, there must be a patch somewhere ? Im a Virgin Media user myself so i dont have this issue.

unroot by flashing the ROM again
Tried reinstalling Rom with mobile odin. Now have stock 4.0.4 with no root and stock recovery and it still won't work. Could this be because of using mobile odin?

It's almost the same using pc or mobile

Have you taken the sky app out and replaced it?
If you have the copy of the app you had when rooted it may be the problem. Was for me. I did the above and it worked.
From box 13......
Tried that too. Ill try again though for good measure

Instead of going back to ICS through Odin try to flash the GB LC1 ROM (which is full wipe). Chances are you have flashed a non wipe stock ICS ROM. Hence some undesirable leftovers.

Go back to stock gb, imposible update via ota or kies

Hi there.... i just tried to install stock rom gb, and then i checked the ota update and also kies and told me that no updates found for yor phone, your phone is up to date. Why???

May be your csc is not matching your region

And what should i do?
Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda premium
Check using *#272*IMEI#. This will give you a list of csc you have. Select GB.
This will wipe the phone so make sure you are on a safe kernel.

And after that flash with odin gb rom?
Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda premium
No.. Just select the csc as per your region. The phone will reset and the you should be able to connect to kies for upgrade.
Ok...so i understand that first i should instal gb via odin, then i should do the stepst that you told me, and than i can upgrade via kies. I understood well? Thank you very much for your amability!

Yes. Also you can install any latest version using odin. It's better then kies upgrade.
Thank you mate! I give you a virtual beer!

[Q] Best method for updating official ics to official jb for n7000

We can update to official jb via OTA or kies or kies air.
But the question is what is the best method?
There are lots of guys believe that their problems with official jb is because of using bad methods while updating.
And What are the possible mistakes which can be done while updating to official jb?
Just update through kies , its the best method or OTA if you can , its from samsung and you wont run into any problem And wipe after installing JB (dont wipe on ics)
