Try increasing the sd cache size to 1MB or more.
Sent from the bathroom using the toilet
adjust the sdcache as Nikkopt said.... and try defrag ur sdcard
[Script][CWM] Increase Read Cache for better SD Card access
Or Clean Up you ram usage. Stop running program you didnt use.
[Lot of widget on screen increase Ram usage]
And SuperCharger V6. [Try it out]
what governor are you using? i had same issue before when i was using powersave and smartass governor... now im using ondemand its ok now... also use a player with built in equalizer dont use a player with separate equalizer like DSP manager if you will use powersave and smartass governor...

Defragmenting flash memory wears it out.. It's pointless and harmful.
OP, i also don't overclock.
The governor isn't related to it. Anyway, i always used smartass v2 and never had a problem, but i use minicm..

flashed gingerelite v2 today, didnt have the problem, alas!
guess it was a bug in gx v22 i guess
I think its because dsp manager. I have this problem too. When i stooped the dsp, the music plays just nice..

Any time I plug in any headset jack into the audio port on my Hero it plays the audio at a really high level that causes it to distort. Turning the volume down on the phone fixes it, but there is this odd clicking noise present in the audio. Youtube, Pandora, TuneIn, MP3s, downloaded videos, and about anything else you name has this issue when played over external speakers/headsets and I know the speakers/headsets are not at fault from using them with other devices.
Running Cyanogenmod 7.0.3
Anyone have a solution?
Try deleting the system app "dsp manager" and see if that helps, also, although this may be unrelated, what cpu governor and frquencies do you have set?

I'll try that after a backup here in a moment. As for the CPU settings:
governor: ondemand
min: 352
max: 691
~Edit~
Oh, good call on DSP Manager. Moved the app into a different directory so it wouldn't load and now I don't have an issue with headset audio. Thanks for the help.
i'm using gingercruzt 8,1 and it has bad multitasking .
How to get better
How is that bad multitasking shown?

try to run supercharger script...it will make better multitasking - a bit
be sure u dont have full phone of unnecessary apps
dont use live wallpapers and widgets which take ur ram
use launcherpro
and apply tweaks u can find them in themes and apps section "all tweaks in one"

I use GingerDX v019 and LinuxDX v004
The dev responsible for the Cyanogen Mod 9 Music app has released a beta. I'm currently on CyberGR-MOD|NS.NGN v.2 Hybrid ROM and I'm getting a lot of force closes especially when trying to use the search function, but I'm still using it because its freaking beautiful. Follow the instructions below to install and report back. Here's the original post:

If you want to use the clock app with all the changes I made, here's that link. You'll need to use the new music app for everything to work correctly, so here's that link too.
Ice Cream Sandwich only. Uninstall the stock music and clock app, reboot, then install these.

Why do I have to delete the original google music app? They can be installed side by side.
How do you uninstall the stock apps? I only get 'Force Close' and 'Disable' in the 'Manage Apps' section
This apps are amazing, thank you!
what is Stop Watch it's for what use ?
Thanks

Music force closed on my 4.0.3 AOSP+ Nexus S...
Thanks! Mine's working fine(CyberGRMod). Flashed it for first time and get FC's. Uninstalled the Stock Music App and then flashed it again. No more FC's.
Crashes here over CM9 Alpha for Desire S. I uninstalled stock app, clear cache/dadvik, installed it but it continues crashing
yes, it looks awesome but it uses a lot of CPU, when my screen is closed, the music cuts and jitters. I guess it's because the app uses more CPU while the OS tries to downclock the CPU.
I'm using KalimochoAz v1.1 CM9 build.
The music app is great. What extra features does the clock have

I'm agree. I've same issue. I'm on CyberGR V7. No problem with music app from CyberGR.
OMG it's even worse with KalimochoAz v2. I can't even scroll the songs list while I'm playing a song. I guess I'll be going back to V1 and use the stock music app
One workaround I have discovered when using the LULZACTIVE CPU Governor is to set the minimum frequency threshold to 400MHz when playing music with the screen off. This works regardless of Deep Idle settings.
Guys my Nook Color does not play videos flawlessly. I find no audio - video proper sync. Sometimes it slows down. How to solve this issue ?
Currently I am using Mirage 7.2 [03042012 build]
I have no idea how to overclock, so I assume I am using at stock speed. Does overclocking help this issue ?
Does my nook HWA enabled ? How to check ?
Which is best media player ? something like VLC / GOM as for PC ?
Here are the two videos I'd like my Nook Color play flawlessly :
Video 1 : http://npteldownloads.iitm.ac.in/softlinks_mp4/106102064/lec06.mp4 [source]
Video 2 : https://d19vezwu8eufl6.cloudfront.net/algo1/recoded_videos/[420f432a] about.mp4 [source]
This are free educational videos & I am not pirating.
I just ran the 11mb file you posted and it ran flawlessly. I suggest you use Mobo player for playing video files. My NC is overclocked, set on conservative from 800mhz to 1200mhz. I suggest you check out the post from mr72 in General Discussion about his setup, you don't have to do the first steps about repartitioning. Just do the last few steps about battery and performance improvements. Right now im posting from my nook so its a bit cumbersome to get the links for you. Once I get on my laptop ill edit the post.
Sent from my NookColor using Tapatalk
Edit: Ok go into mr72's guide and follow the steps from 17 - 19, this should help with your performance.
Thank you very much, I will look into it
Is overclocked needed OR it can play at 800 Mhz ?

I would definitely overclock. It is very safe and easy and gives a significant performance boost in all areas. 1200MHz seems fine for every Nook C, some push it to 1300MHz but that can actually start to slow some graphics performance measures down. You won't significantly hit battery performance as the Governor slows the clock speed down when its not needed.
Just get one of the apps from the market like antutu CPU Master pro and set it up.
Just an app from Market can OC it ? no other flashing any zip file / kernel etc needed ?

If you are using Mirage it already comes with overclocked kernel capabilities, just follow the instructions in mr72's guide (the link I gave you earlier).
Or just go into Settings>CyanogenMod Settings>Performance>CPU Settings:
Min CPU: 300mhz
Max CPU: 1200mhz
and voila!
But I highly recommend that you take a look into mr72's guide for undervolting these specific steppings, so you get better battery life.
on a side note, anyone able to play 720p videos?
Is it normal to have errors in games when we overclock Zeus?
I tried to zipalign and fix permissions but everytime I OC the games open with graphical error or not open at all.

I realized that, but what's the point of doing OC if it doesn't work with games? For phone calls or send sms I don't need OC. Does anyone have any idea how to solve this?
