This application allows you to listen to your favorite internet radio stations even when you're offline (Internet connection required to record the stations at scheduled times).
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ksatta.irop
Here's how it works:
- Add your favorite internet radio stations
- The app records them automatically at scheduled times
- You can listen to the recordings even without an internet connection
You can for example set the app to record the stations every night when you're at home and you have WiFi. Then during the day when you don't have an internet connection, or when the connection is too slow for internet radio, you can listen to the fresh recordings the app made. I personally use it in my car when I drive around, and there isn't always 3G coverage.
NOTE: I can't test this on all the Android devices out there, so if you have any problems please contact me from zRadio, phone's menu button / about/help (or send email from Google Play). If you only send me report via Android's own system, I won't be able to contact you to debug and fix the problem. My own bug reporting system also sends me better logs of what happened.
Features:
- Supports all formats supported by your phone. For example OGG is supported in Android 2.3+.
- The recordings are lossless (same quality as the station is sending). Only some lossless changes are done to some formats.
- Configurable recording start time and duration (global default and also settings for individual channels). You can also set a station to be recorded manually only.
- You can create multiple recording rules for stations and select weekdays (Pro only).
- The length of the recordings is only limited by your SDCard size, so you'll always have something to listen to when you're offline. (Recording length in Lite mode is 20 min / station).
- "Eyes-free" operation: Switch channel with the volume buttons (safer in car for example). (Phone's menu button / Settings / Playback / Vol. keys change channel).
- Many screen modes including "custom dimming" mode that dims the screen to totally black, and can be woken up by touch (Phone's menu button / Settings / Playback / Screen mode).
- Supports portrait and landscape orientations.
- You can configure the app to enable recording on 3G/Edge/etc, but disable recording on GPRS. (GPRS is too slow for most stations).
- Application pauses recording when phone's current connection type is disabled in the settings and then resumes automatically when the phone connects via an allowed connection type.
- Make new recording only when previous recording has been played (Phone's menu button / Settings / Recording / Always start scheduled rec).
- Max. bandwidth available setting, so that the app records only x channels simultaneously. The other channels are queued until bandwidth becomes available (Phone's menu button / Settings / Recording / Max bandwidth).
- Seeking (Settings / UI / Show seek buttons)
Free (Lite) mode has the following restictions:
(You can buy the pro unlocker to remove these restrictions)
- Maximum number of stations is 2.
- You can't select weekdays or create many rules per station (advanced rec. rules).
- Recording length is 20min per station.
User reviews:
"I love great music, but I don't want to spend time finding it. I want a professional DJ to play a great mix of new and old music along with commentary. Frankly, the new internet streaming services (Pandora, Slacker, Spotify) aren't good enough for my tastes. None of them have replaced the professional DJ. SiriusXM is the only exception, which my wife has in her car. However, their streaming doesn't offer time-shifting or mobile caching. Additionally, I don't want to pay $12/month for each device. There are lots of radio stations streaming their music on the web. Minnesota Public Radio's "The Current" is a great example. My dilemma: streaming radio doesn't offer time-shifting or mobile caching. Streaming radio works only when I'm hooked up on the internet listening live. What do I listen to when I'm not on wifi or if I want to listen to a program that aired at a different time? zRadio solved this for me. Now I can schedule it to record some great radio programs every night so that I always have access to a variety of fresh quality music. So far the app is working just as advertised and I haven't noticed any problems with it." - Jesse, 5 stars

------------------
- Android's media lib now shows "zRadio" and station name.
- In some rare cases you have to readd stations for new media lib system to work. If a station shows "RE-ADD" text in station list you have to delete the station and add it again for media lib adding to work correctly.
- Toggle "add recs to media lib" setting off and then back on from settings/recording settings to trigger an update to add existing recordings to media lib (if you want to use this feature). After that all new recordings will be added automatically.
- Station names should now be fetched automatically for all stations, send me a bug report if you find a station for which you have to input the name manually.
- Added link to discussion thread at XDA (about/help / discussion..)
April 27 2012
-------------
- Ogg format streams pause/resume fixed.
- You have to add Ogg format stations again for the new Ogg fixes to work correctly.
- Improved bitrate detection.
Apr 20 2012
- Setting to add recordings to Android's media library (Settings / Recording / Add recs to media lib)
(They can be found in Artists / Unknown artist / streams / x). I will still improve this a lot, so that it shows station name etc.. right now it's just 1,2,3,..
- new version naming: for example "Apr 20 2012".
- Big fix for ogg streams coming in the near future
0.91.9 Alpha (April 5th 2012):
- Moved bug report button to about/help in app.
- Added send feedback / feature request button.
- Added reminder about reviewing the app.
- Added a settings wizard which goes through the main settings at first launch.
- Added option to set manual rec. only as global default for stations.
0.91.8 Alpha (March 23rd 2012):
** Added links to internet-radio.com so it's MUCH easier to add stations now
0.91.7 Alpha (March 21st 2012):
- fixed: Some dialogs don't show up on some devices (atleast HTC Wildfire S).

- "Station not recorded yet, playing next.." loop bug fixed.
- Mobile data enable question after adding station.
0.91.5 (March 17th 2012)
- Initial public release
Right now I'm working on converting the recordings to a suitable format for Android's media player. It's taking longer than I expected, but it's getting there I'm also fixing the OGG-format pause/resume problems, because they're kinda connected.
Other requests which are next in line:
- Force recording on 3G even if 3G is disabled in settings.
- Pick day of week for recording
- Multiple schedules per station (Also a list view for station's recordings where it's possible to delete recordings etc)
- UI polishing, gfx for dialogs, buttons etc..
Please post here if you posted a request in the old thread, I didn't have time to copy them before the thread was deleted. I went through my notification e-mails, but incase I missed something
I like your application. I want to write a EPG for my favorite Station and schedule recordings with it. Is it possible to use your app for that? Some Intent called with a URL, Starttime and duration, would be great!

I can implement this, but so that there's no misunderstanding, I haven't decided anything yet but I will probably release this as a paid app when it's ready, and some kind of lite/trial version. Meaning that if your EPG needs zRadio to record, people who use it would need to buy zRadio.
I might also implement some EPG system in the app itself, I have some ideas, but that is still long ways to go Just so that if I do it one day, it won't come as a surprise to you
Just an update if you're wondering why there haven't been any updates.
I think I got the Ogg pause/resume problem sorted out (related to converting recordings to play in Android's own media player). Anyway, I had to fix this at some point.
When there's a disconnection while recording ogg, the recording is playable only up to the disconnection point. I'll fix this next while I'm working on the Ogg stuff.
Looks like then finally adding the recordings to the music library _should_ be easy to implement
Too disappointed

Hmm, ok. If you send me a bug report or other feedback I'll see what I can do. I know the app is far from perfect (at the moment)
New update in Google Play. I added full changelog for all versions to first post.
The recordings can now be added to Android's media lib (Settings / Recording / Add recs to media lib). For now they're in Unknown artist / streams / x. Will improve this in the future
My "big Ogg project" is nearing completion, but I thought I'd do a smaller update release because the Ogg stuff will still take a while. I already know what I have to do, but I'll continue doing that next week. When I'm done with that Ogg streams should work too, right now pause/resume doesn't work, etc..
I started fixing the ogg stuff because it has some stuff in common with adding the files to media lib, but it turned out to take longer than I expected. Anyway it's getting there and it's good to have that fixed too.
Good one
nice app, i am also learning may be some day i will make on LOL
Update
Update released. Changelog in first post.
All Ogg problems should be fixed now. That took quite long to implement, but now it's done
I also looked into getting the station names for all stations, but it didn't work like I thought it would so I'll continue that later.
I also started implementing a system so that Android's media lib would show artist "zRadio" and title "radio channel name". That's not ready yet, so it's not included in this release. Also when I implement multiple scheduling rules per station then it can show more info too.
The integration with Android media library is great! Really appreciated.
Having said that I'm really looking forward to the release that names the streams in a readable way.
Great work!
Sent from my HTC Desire using XDA
Update
New update in Google Play. Changelog in first post.
Now Android's media lib should show artist "zRadio", album "zRadio" and song name [station name]. I can tweak those around how you users want them
Update
Mainly a bugfix release, added feature to temporarily allow mobile data.
Now the only request left is multiple schedules per station, and selecting weekdays, etc. I'll start that next week.
I've been receiving some bug reports via Android's own reporting system, which is good, but the problem with Android's own system is that it gives me very limited info and even a bigger problem is that I can't contact the user to debug and fix the problem. So if you encounter any freeze / crash / etc, please send me a bug report from zRadio, menu button / about/help. Thanks.
I fixed some problems that caused freezes / app not responding / etc, but there is still lots to be done for the UI.
Thanks for the update and great program. Have been using this twice daily since installed to listen my favorite programs while driving!
Great App!
Good work!! Really good app helped me to record good sessiones from a few stations
I've been fixing some bugs which appear when SDCard is full or faulty. I'm also adding a feature which stops recording when battery is low. I still have to do some more testing with the changes before releasing update. Also I thought I'd change my releasing cycle so that I do new releases in the beginning of the week, so that if there is some urgent bug I can fix it during the week
I've also been planning how it would be best to implement the multiple schedules per station. I thought I'd fix the SDCard full/faulty bugs and add the battery low feature first.
Just thought I'd report here. Next update probably in the beginning of next week.
Update
Fixed bug which had been bugging me (better handling of faulty / full SDCard).
Also the app now stops recording automatically when battery is low.
Nothing else this time, I took a few days off to get some fresh ideas, and I've been planning the multiple rec schedule thing:
Something like this:
- It's called "Advanced schedule"/"rules"/something under station edit. It disables the normal recording settings for that station.
- A rule can repeat daily, hourly or weekly.
- Each rule is recorded in its own file. So each time the rule records, the previous recording of that rule is overwritten.
- If a station has multiple rules then a selection dialog is shown when station is clicked.
- Next / prev chan. buttons cycle through all recordings (station default recs and advanced rule recs)
Feedback is welcome, I'll start on that tomorrow.
Looks like settings shows the stop rec when battery low setting as off before you change it. It's actually enabled by default, but the settings shows it as being off.. The mysteries of Android's SDK, long story..
I'll fix it tomorrow.
Update
May 23 2012
- Fix settings screen showing some values wrong when opened for the first time. (Happened only on ICS?)
- Added current value as summary for max. rec bandwidth setting
- Unit fix Mbit/s -> Mibit/s
Now on with the advanced rec. rules..
Progress update
I've been working on the advanced rec rules, tweaking new graphics with the graphics designer and I have to make better error handling so that all error reports use my own logging system instead of Google's (I've received 2 error reports after May 11th, so atleast it seems there are very few serious bugs left .
Next update release target date Mon-Wed next week.

There are a couple of references to you tube. Don't know if it will make things easier in relation to youtube. Am keen to try it when I have time today.
anyone try it yet? Hows the performance of the HQ youtube?
I am playing with it right now. It seems great at first but for me the youtube videos never load. I just get the CorePlayer's "I am thinking spinner" then it never loads, I gave the last video almost 20 minutes and it never loaded. I am on a good wifi connection so I can't see why it wouldn't.
any one else get this issue?
I get YouTube videos but the buffering really sucks. Is there some setting to help with buffering?
I guess from reading on their forums it is a known problem and they are looking into the buffering issues. Also some out of sync issues also seem to be common.
I was able to get mine to work when putting it on the high setting butI think thats where I get the buffering problem. Ohhh well, it works a little bit. I am going to try it out on 3g on my way home to see if it goes any better.
i'm having problem to load the youtube too.. the 'spinning circle' keeps spinning .. i fail even i have changed and tried few settings.. i'm using Dopod 838 pro..
change the setting to high, I tried med (default) then low thinking it would help but the high actually is what works for me on my wifi connection
can someone with coreplayer please try this link and tell me if it works with coreplayer? Thanks!

No, I'm pretty sure that's a Stream the World link, requiring a flash player. Core Player won't handle this stream, and I'm not aware of any other players that will handle this type of stream. But here's a link to KBKS (106.1 Kiss FM in Seattle) that will work with Windows Mobile streaming players, including TCPMP (free), GSPlayer (also free), Core Player, etc.

Still waiting for Handango & Corecodec providing the V1.2.1 upgrade (Handango even still not offers this one) so this 1.2.2 version is a long term wish for me...was it not that ..
Just to keep potential purchasers on Handango aware.
EDIT: An answer cam through from handango regarding this , old and future Coreplayer updates:
Hello xxx,
I receive information for our content team and its seem that I will have to forward customers over to the developer in order for you to receive an upgrade to your software. I will contact them once again to help you obtain this software. At this time we are working with the developer end to obtain the update software to post on our site. I am sorry to make you go through these email back and forth.
Sincerely,
xxxx
As far as the 1.2.2 release concerns, I red here, and I saw on a friends device that Youtube buffering indeed underperforms under Wifi. H264 or lower Q seems not to impact. Did someone tried a bigger buffer?
the av. stream used here was around 500 kb/sec, so it is not the width which plays a rol.
Just sound
I am trying to see a video but i only get sound, no image, just a black screen. Any ideas how to solve this?
Thanks in advance
theres no point in using this player until it is out of beta...or upgraded to atleast realplayer or WMP quality....watching youtube on tcmp .072 is the best way to go for now...even watching avi's and dvds on tcmp are solid...coreplayer just isnt rdy yet
I have just downloaded this latest update. At this stage I am not sure what has changed.
Will have a look tomorrow.
Sorry if this has already been posted - I did not see it

The previous version I have installed now seems pretty stable to me. How stable is this version?
Hi,
I am quite a newbie here (1st post), so bear with me if my
posting style is not perfect.
Anyway, I have donwloaded Coreplayer 1.2.3 and it seems very
stable to me. Movie playback getting better and better!
I usually watch music video clips for fun on my device and
I am checking the sync of the singer lip movement with the
audible music. So for this is version got the best result.
Also, this was the first version I was able to switch from
"GDI" mode to "QTV Display" mode (previous versions did not
offer enjoyable playback using QTV mode).
Also I noticed a new page in preferences: "QTV Display" with
only one option to change: "Tytn II driver mode". (Enabled
by default.) This is quite exciting, I believe. ))
So it seems that there are some custom piece of code is running
when Coreplayer runs on a Kaiser. I think I can feel the result.

I will take any and all suggestions for improvement (both the free version and the paid version). If you find something, please post either on the support page or here in this thread. If you like my media player, please rate it on the marketplace.
Warning: After uploading the current version to the marketplace, I discovered that the bug with importing songs into a playlist from the Now Playing which causes the program to crash is back. This only happens if you try to import from Now Playing for a blank playlist (nothing had been added or removed yet). A workaround for this is to add a song to the playlist in the playlist editor (even if you aren't going to add it to your playlist), and then import from Now Playing and remove the song you added (if you don't want to keep it). This bug is present in both the paid version and the free, ad-supported version. I am very sorry for this and I will be uploading a fixed version to the marketplace for certification as soon as possible.
Update(4-2-2012): Version with bug fix currently in apphub certification
Update(5-22-2012): even though it's been out in the marketplace for a couple weeks, Version 1.4 is now out for both paid and free, ad-supported versions
Update(2-26-2013): It's been awhile since I last updated this post with the current status of Mobile Media Manager, but the latest version out is version 2.0.1 (for both free and paid versions). I am planning to release a new (maintenance) version soon (but it does have some new stuff in it too), so I need some testers who can give me some helpful input on how to improve.
-- Reserved--
So is there anything I can improve on (besides the bugs mentioned above)??
Thanks, good app
Yeah, I got some inspiration for the UI from Windows Media Player mobile in Windows Phone 6.5 (Windows Mobile 6.x).
thanks for the app....but i have a question...
can you add the ability to search and find music in other folder in wp7??? i mean like the songs that we reseve via bluetooth...(it goes to my document...or some other folder...)
if you could just add this ability to find mp3 file in other folder (except zune folder) it'll be gr8....(but i think MS won't let you do that.... )
I am currently working on importing from skydrive, but I am just starting on that part. I am also trying to figure out a way to stram audio from the internet (via url given by user). If someone could please direct me to the skydrive api documentation for windows phone, that would be much appreciated.
Would really appreciate it if you can implement a graphic equalizer. I think that's what Zune sorely misses.
Ok, first, I don't think I it's possible to do an equalizer yet programatically. As for folders other than the default program folder or media library, I don't think Microsoft will let me do that.
Also, version 1.4 for both the paid and the free version is now in certification and should be out, pending Microsoft Apphub approval. Version 1.4 will come with support for live tiles.
trying to create playlist, then the application turn me to wp7.5
in 2 versions
omnia i8350W
or if i can put two songs on the list once i come back then the application closes
or if i choose to put on the list {if i can create} an entire album then the application closes
thanks, good app

Don't working normally in Samsung omnia w and in the background the playlist does not switch the SONGS
the application usually collapses
Version 1.4 is now out for both paid and free, ad-supported versions.
Good app . Thanks .
I am currently looking for some beta testers to help improve Mobile Media Manager. If you would like to help, please pm me with your windows live id (and whether your phone is running Windows Phone 7.x or Windows Phone 8).
A new version will be out in a few days which fixes problems with the current version (and also has some new stuff as well).
Version 2.1 has been released for the free version (the paid version update will be following shortly). This version is largely a bug fix version and (for this release) I have removed the limit of 8 songs to a playlist for the fee version. In this release, I have fixed the bug with (quick) playing a system playlist from its live tile. The next version of Mobile Media Manager will have a new splash screen and better support for Windows Phone 8 (now that I finally have some new hardware).
Thanks to XDA Developer hrk!
[APP][1.1][Aug 28th] DCIM Helper: make your device DCIM compliant!
IMPORTANT: after an update, be sure to turn on the app, as Play Store turs it off!
Do you hate when iPhoto won't show the pictures you shot with your Android device, but it works fine with your friend's HTC Sense device? Why is that?!?
That's simply because Google's camera does not comply with the DCIM standard, used by every other Digital Camera in the world (HTC Sense does it!) and properly recognized by iPhoto.
With this app, your Android device will be able to comply and iPhoto will display and import your pictures.
FEATURES:
- Hassle free "Configure once and forget forever!"
- Works with any picture taking app, not just the stock Android Camera!
- "Automagic" background moving of newly taken shots into the proper folder. No need to open the app each time you connect to iPhoto.
- Fully DCIM compliant and fully Android MediaServer compliant (pictures will not vanish from the Gallery).
- If you don't feel like moving, you can select to copy the pictures (but don't forget to check your free space!)
- ON/OFF switch to quickly enable or disable the app.
- Supported picture format: JPG, JPEG, PNG.
- Supported movie format: 3GP, M4A, M4V, MOV.
- Supports Windows, Linux and Mac OS X hosts (don't worry about Thumbds.db, ._IMG0001.jpg files and so on!)
ADVANCED FEATURES (which require a once-in-a-lifetime donation):
- Multiple folder monitoring: if you use Third Party apps (Camera MS, ICS Camera, ...) you can move/copy their pictures as well! Just add their folder to the monitored list.
For more information about the DCIM standard: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Design_...ra_File_system

The app is available for free on Google Play Store.

Adventure Game Studio is Software for Windows that can create 1st and 3rd person point and click adventure games(www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk). Games can run on Windows, Mac, Linux, IOS, Android and Sony PSP. AGS Stream is a tool created for the Adventure Game Engine: AGS(Adventure Game Studio). This tool is not the run-time or engine itself. It is merely an app that will assist in downloading and installing the game of your choosing onto your Android Device. You can purchase the app for $1.15 here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.agsstream1.diperla&feature
New Version:
AGS 2.1.5 (2/11/13)
Media:
-Changed the Image logo again to better fit the play store, thanks to Selmiak.
App:
-Resized Icon.
-Fixed an error that appears if the device does not have an internet connection.
-Fixed the notification area to properly tell you when a game is being installed or has succeeded or not.
-Adjusted some layouts for different size devices. It still will not be perfect, but it will be better.
-When clicking on the game download notification, it will take you to the apps main page.
-When clicking on a game, the main page will no longer interrupt the page while loading its list of games.
-Downloading on Tablets has been fixed.
-Fixed an issue where if you downloaded a game and then return to any games listing, the notification would report that the game download was %100 when in fact it was still downloading.
Games:
-Added a new game
AGS:
-Updated to the latest AGS Build.
It is now updated to Version 2.1.1
It contains a few features such as:
-Feature Game (With every update, the Featured Game will change)
-9 Games currently installable.
-All games are hosted on my private server to ensure that the games never become unavailable.
-All Games have the project developer listed right below the title.
-Each game gives you a screenshot and brief description along with how large the download will be.
-The app will download, extract and install the game for you.
-The app will download and install the latest daily build of AGS for Android at the time of upgrade/installation.
-Search feature so you can easily find a game you know you want. With 9 games currently available, it shouldn't be too hard to find anyway, but as the database expands, you want to have a search feature so that you can find games easily.
-Slightly different Interface.
-Other little things such as bug fixes, etc...
A new version of the app will be updated to contain a new list of games and features. This will be done once a week. At times, with the updates, new features will also be made available with the App.
Changelog:
AGS Stream 2.1 Update Log (2/8/2013)
Sorry for this one, I had to pull it originally from the store as I noticed a major bug in it. Either way, I have now re-uploaded and it is ready to go.
Games:
-No new games added. I apologize for that. Getting the kinks out of AGS has been very difficult and I had to focus all my time on that for now. However, the next update will have an additional 21 games, bringing it up to 30 games. That will be later in this week or early next.
Interface:
-Updated the Menu system so that it works with the older and the newer versions of Android OS, especially for devices without a hard menu button.
-We now have an action bar which works very well with the design of the app.
AGS:
-JJS has updated his port to Android and therefore it has been included in this update. A new notable feature is that you can use the menu button to bring up the keyboard. Another feature is that its configuration settings are now available and exposed to outside apps, therefore, In the next version coming, we now can allow users to set configuration options for AGS and for the games in general. At the moment it may work, at times it may not. Need to investigate whats going on.
App:
-The App now properly checks if AGS has been installed or not and will prompt you upon the first time you run the app to install it.
-If you do not have the latest daily build of AGS, the app will also prompt you to update AGS.
-Downloading and extracting has been fixed. Therefore, games will properly install whether you are using viewing the app or the game page or not.
-Notification telling you what percentage of the game is downloaded and what its current process is. Please note though that if your device is charging, the notification may not appear properly.
-Fixed some bug fixes.
-Improved App performance.
Games Page:
-If the game has a Youtube vide, you will now have a menu option to view the youtube video.
-If your game provides you with errors, or if your game is not installed properly, you will have the option to re-install the game now or to delete the game directory.
Release Notes for V2.0.0 (1/31/2013)
App:
-More Games coming soon!
- Added a Genre Page for the games and an installed games view.
- Removed Landscape version and different size versions. The app works on almost %100 of all devices and From Android 3+ you can stretch the app on your screen to make it compatible (Built in feature with Android, not this app). So, the app should look good enough on any device. It may not end up looking pretty, but at the very least, smartphones should look good.
- Changed the application icon (Thanks to Selmiac from the AGS Forums)
- Changed Play Store details and description as well as version number.
- You will have a link that takes you to the Official AGS Web site.
- Demo App will no longer be updated.
Interface:
- Updated the interface to look a little cleaner, have a better color scheme that fits in with AGS and its website.
- We included Menu Item both on the main page and also on the games page itself.
- You can now swipe left to right and vice versa on the main page to switch between pages.
Footprint:
- The app will have a smaller footprint than it did before when adding new games. Before we would add the screenshots into the apps resources, making the app larger and larger. This time around, the games list and page will simply load the games screenshot off the web, meaning that the app size will hardly increase as games are added.
AGS Runtime:
-Latest Run Time Build has been added.
-If you have AGS already installed, you can still install the latest version through the app.
Games Page Features:
- New Menu option to take you to the games official web site.
- New Menu option that takes you to the games AGS Database page where you can find more details about the game and user reviews.
- New Menu option that takes you to the main page.
- New Menu option if the game is installed that launches AGS and allows you to play the game.
- If a Game is installed, you can uninstall the game.
New Features:
- You have a "Help" option in the menu that helps you get around the app.
- You have a "What is AGS" option in the menu explaining what AGS is.
- You also have an "About" Section giving you information on the team that brought you AGS.
- Added a Progress Notification to the downloads so that you are aware the game is still downloading.
Bug Fixes:
- Some people were saying that they were having download issues. I looked into it, tinkered with what I could and hope that it solved the issue.
- ANR keyDispatchingTimedOut errors that Many Galaxy S3 and Nexus 7 users were experiencing should be fixed now, or at the very least, made to happen less frequently.
-Freeze ups after the game downloads have been fixed.
