As you can see in this video, this is possible, to run the game, but I think, that play with this game... If you like laggy slow games, this is yours
I would love it... But this is too laggy. I haven't tryed anyway.

ask this in a warez forum....blackdroid is a good one.

if you want more fps you should:
1) use swap 256 mb,and close all background apps
2) use overclock
3) use lite cash mediafire.com/?67tk6deedpqu18d (there are compressed textures,deleted all sounds ect.)

guys from 4pda.ru/forum make some mods that increase fps

it's possible if you have dualtouch, can't do nothing without it.

or you have sixaxis app and gamepad from PS3 on bluetooth but still there need to be official gta 3 from rockstar for low end devices

can we change the resolution of our screen?
becouse games does work a lot faster on phones with 240 x 320 pixels
or does change density work also.

i read in indonesian fb group u need to delete the sounds files if u dont want the game to lag

I think you must have a custom kernel, then you must install Swapper 2 from market.

Hi, I purchased some HD games like Dead Space, NFS Hot pursuit and 9mm cuz someone said they'll work on x8. I tried them but not. Help please to make it work!

HD Games work on my x8..
try using custom ROM & kernel..
If doesn't work, You must looking for apk that port to x8 (HVGA game)..
google is our friends..

look man first i would resume that you dont know nothing about roms.
some games need more than android 2.1 (but the games you puschased i think is ok) so there are some updates ,that are not by sony ericsson ,and they are called roms, check this and this
usually the roms have better performance and thats because a gamer should use them
the second part is that you should increase your phones performance : with task killer you can free up some ram and with overclock you can increase cpu frequency
there and some other tips. you may check this out(those i have mention above included)
here is a video on how to increase performance in general for android:
also i would suggest you not to purchase games before you make sure that they run on your device(you can search on google or in youtube if anyone with the same device play them)
ps: sorry if you know most of them! i tried to write sth which someone with the same problem and without the knowledge would understand. i hope you found it helpfull!

As i know , there is no way to play 9mm on our devices.

Ok,ok,ok but I know this info since I installed minicm7 2.0.6, now I have firedroid on the top of Alfs v7 ICS. When I try to play these games they close with an error message like this game can't run on your device etc...
What can I do now?
Edit: BTW mate you made a good guide, it's not your mistake I don't need it. Anyway, I'll give you a thanks ;D

you have to find the hvga for these games on internet!

like I said before.. you should find with google..
try write 'bla.. bla.. (game name) + hvga + apk'..
hvga will work in our device 320*480..
many of HD game have more than 320*480 resolution.. that's why can't play normally in our device..

Have you tried chainfire?even though you can play it but you will experience lag..a lot...cos it is a game specially made for armv7(our phone got armv6)

[Q] Gaming Issues (Frame Drop)

Hello,
i have a big problem with my LG-Device.
I want to play the game Shadowgun THD, but i get always very heavy frame drops... few seconds later the game run smoothly.
Same Problem in GTA 3 (with MEDIUM settings -.-) -> On a Samsung Galaxy S2 it runs perfect
Is this Problem normal or have i a few Problems with my Hardware? Would an Custom rom (already available?) help?

But is the THD-Version not a speciel Tegra 3-Version?
Than must be Need for Speed Most Wanted also not optimized, because i have there problems too :/

i don't know why, but normal version is working better for me..

well i use xda assitt app and found out my ram is about 977mb so i use an app that manage the ram to reduce the strees and work out ok and also check your startup app they also use alot of ram after restart

my gta3 doesnt lag once, maybe only very few times when phone is pbobably checking other things on background. Graphics are set on max.

Okay.. i think i will set the phone to default an try again.. if this wouldnt solve my problem, i send my phone back and want the money!

Do ROMs have a relation with lag?playing games as an example

so i'm using the jelly blast ROM and when im on youtubei s ee a lot of oepople running heavy games like asphalt 5 and ganster rio without lag on their galaxy ace i when i install it evenif i clean rambefore usie chainfire 3D and use performance governor wityh setrcpu it still lags can it have a relation with the rom im using?if i switch to a light rom like retribution would games like that lag less?

The difference is related to the apps running in the background, if they're using your CPU.
That's pretty much it.
Memory management scripts don't make the current app faster, it just makes multitasker better.
And all the ROMs currently available are themed ROMs based on the stock ROM, so performance wouldn't change (unless what I mentioned above applies).

U need to check your CPU depends on background apps.

yeah they don't work butthey do work on the s5830 .. i thought our device is tronger since its cpu is 832...

The CPU isn't always the bottleneck.

i always do that and games still lag.. i play nova without lag buty hwne it comes to gangstar and asphalt 5 they lag like hell

Asphalt 5,Gta 3,and certain games will not work properly even with chainfire.The normal ace can play them to an extent.It's the same on stock..Keep your governor at performance for gaming.ie for lag free common simple games

Asphalt will never work on our device.It will make other games better..Nfs shift or Gt racing academy should run with chainfire.Try them if you want racing games.

Setting the governor to performance simply locks the frequency to the maximum. So your device will never go below, say, 832Mhz, which should avoid some lag.
I'd suggest you read more about governors and frequencies first. GIYF.

[Q]how to run GTAIII on x8 ?

I wanna play gta iii on my X8, but app just won't start.
I install v1,3(also try 1,1 .1,2)then start app ,it shows a black screen then exit.
No notification
I use swap @270 MB
I also tested different data files but I don't think it's caused by data.
Plz................help ................

It does work on X8 but it lags really bad,it's almoust unplayable

Dunno but at 806 mhz and swap it still lagged even with chainfire and everything on low... it's just not worth it on our phones

Supercharger decreases performance I think.
That script just improve multi tasking.
It decreased my antutu score about 600

Supercharger works fine for me and no problem with antutu either.You should try with the presets from Lukenda they do work

I use minicm7 and naa 14 kernel, I think its very smooth in 3d performance (2400 3d score)
minicm uses the new adreno libs or not?

I successfully downloaded & played gta III on my x8
As you said its so laggy an unplayable BUT BUT I've downloaded a lightweight data file (around 100 MB!) There's no sound ,and also it shows only short distance!
REALLY SMOOTH WITH THE NEW DATA FILES ,VERY SMOOTH! !!!

Yeah, its awesome.
I played it on my stock eclair, it was laggy and unplayable with single touch. In An accident my SD formatted completely and it also removed.
I just played first mission
Sixguns is also perfect, pm me if you can't run it on x8/w8
