Galaxyics moaning thread (use this to keep dev thread clean)

Hi all,
I have decided to start a new thread as I am sick and tired of people *****ing about the eta and other useless crap that gets flooded on the cm9 dev thread.
Use this thread if you want to complain about useless crap so that we can keep the dev thread clean... this way maclaw and his team don't have to read useless crap when monitoring the dev thread.
I am not going to complain about the rom but hopefully this should clean up the dev thread... all I can do is hope :0)

Dev thread is d only thread where dev can see our problems devs dont hav time to see discussion threads and post there (evn i dont hav tht much time )

We all want the update as early as posible, and i think whining won't make anything better. Nobody likes to be pushed, especially if that thing someone is doing is based on free will - like this rom developing.
Go flash CM7.2 RC3 official and dump ICS V10 LDPI theme in it and you have ICS on your phone

I'm so glad the dev thread has been locked. Now everyone can post there complaining here and we won't have to waste our time reading the dev thread until a useful update has been released for the mini... 3 cheers for the mods ;0)

We're not supposed to tell anyone what to do when it comes to posting in the wrong section, it's all already included in the rules he (you, us) already agreed on upon signing up.
I really think they should add a more explicit notice in the Rules, something like "You agree to be bashed and treated like the noob you are should you fail to follow the rules".

I dont think u read the "Rules". When i say 'you people' it means its for "all the NOOBS". You with 46 posts, i dont consider you as a NOOB. Read RULE number 15 from HERE. I never insulted him. Read carefully. I said "WHY THE F*** YOU PEOPLE(In this case 'NOOBS') DONT READ THE DAMN RULES"? He is not the 1st person to post in wrong section. There were many more before him. As an RC, i have to show the NOOBS & newbies whats right & wrong. Its so irritating to see General Questions in Development section.

Dude, im sorry if i hv hurt ur feelings. If i hv, it ws un-intentional. Dint mean to hurt ur feelings, but i hd to b hard on this coz others will do d same. I mean newbies wil start asking Questions in Development section instead of General section, which Devs dont like. I hope u'll understand.

Oh well ! If you really want to keep the forums in order, just report the posts/threads you think need moderators attention & also politely inform the OP that it is in the wrong section/whatever is wrong with the post/thread.
Leave the rest upto us. There's no need to flame anyone or disregard each other in the process of getting it on order. Thread moved to General section.

GT S5830i has the BCM2835-soc right ? They released the source for that.

Because Ace-i, Young, Pocket, all together is not a joke, much more likely to listen us than if we do small and separate petitions or keep waiting idly.

I know we've tried, but I see a petition from SGA-i, another from SGY, another more from htcmania forum SGMini-i and other different from htcmania too from SGA-i, another one from 4PDA forum..... you know what I mean? A single massive petition, I'm just a noob who nobody will listen, but for example BroadcomCM team have the voice to do it and everybody (from all phones) will listen, and thats my point, a common petition, because like this will never get anything because we are nobody, but this is just my opinion.

dude its not like noobs are just idiots around the forum and others dont listen to them but its the experience of older members about whats possible or not that makes them different from you.....
And about the petition,you have to understand that neither samsung nor broadcom is interested in our device....you think that people have not tried so broadcom doesnt know about our problem but the reality is hundereds and even more have tried and knocked each and every door possible be it floodind them with emails,petitions,complaints,etc,etc but nothing....simply nothing......they know about our problems but still NOTHING..
If they ever wanted to help us then it would had been done long long time ago....
And if you cant bear these facts then least you could do is buy a second hand original ace by selling your ace i.....it will cost you even less then what you will sell your ace i for.....

i dont know this guy and dont know if he contributed here or not. please ppl learn to read and understand, a guy is just saying thanks.
im still using OB and i do thanks to all the devs and other ppl here that help others. im not a dev, not even close, im the regular user that this forum helps like the OP posted. just let him say his thanks.
