[THEMES][AOKP_b33 & 32] Mostly-Red Themes (UPDATED FOR b33) & Elegance Theme - Epic 4G Themes

****BUILD 33****
3 mostly-red themes for aokp b33 from here - http://rootzwiki.com/topic/14710-the...k-theme-42212/
modded for epic:
glossy - http://d-h.st/0U5
no gloss - http://d-h.st/fEV
brushed metal - http://d-h.st/jYJ
These themes look great. make nearly everything red. no issues.
****BUILD 32*****
Designed for AOKP build 32, 1 of the best things about it is that it Enables the Data Toggle that many miss/want. The 4g toggle doesn't work since it's for LTE.

red gapps - http://www.mediafire.com/?t1i3dp0a0b62d4n
---see Post #14 for instructions
Here's the Elegance theme again: http://d-h.st/2D9
- it looks a lot like ViperRom theme
- go here for screenshots and themed add-ons - http://rootzwiki.com/topic/21779-toromagurotheme-elegance-theme-v-14-b32-new-themed-add-ons-section/
- after flashing and booting up, be sure to extract the phone.apk and contacts.apk from the aokp rom and replace the existing files in the system/app folder with them, set permissions, and reboot.

First? Downloading now, need something different for aokp, thanks.

Found this updated red theme for the new AOKP build, so I took out files that mess things up on our phones and I'm posting them here. It is near-complete, though there will still be a little bit of blue. Just figured I'd share what I'M using, but I have nothing to do with the actual creation of the theme.

nah, we can change the clock color... its actually pretty good.. theres a little blue here and there, and the settings is still blue but not bad. im keeping it. i love the red.

I'm using the orange one until purple haze gets updated for b32

I download the elegance theme and flashed twice the second being a clean install of akop gapps then the theme. Both times the phone app was missing and parts the power menu was still blue. If anyone could help me solve this problem it would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance

****. had a feeling that might happen. the power menu will be blue no matter what since these aren't full themes, but the removal of phone.apk seems to occur with some themes (i think because they use an older phone app). check the OP. i added dl links for the elegance theme without the phone.apk (so the phone will still be blue, sorry).
as for your theme-installing process, if you're doing a clean install of aokp, this is what u SHOULD do if your not already doing it:
1 - wipe everything, including /system
2 - flash aokp rom
3 - flash the green gapps.zip in the OP
4 - boot up phone
5 - wipe cache and dalvik 3x each
6 - flash elegance theme (try new 1 without themes phone)
hope this helps.

You could try dialer one in the market, there's a few options to change the colors and it has t9

You need to theme the contacts.apk, that's where the dialers png's live. I have a flashable theme (blue) that worked on kaosfroyo v34. Haven't tested on the current versions, thought I'd try a different rom or two. Anyway I can send it to you so you can see what's involved if you want.

Aha! That was confusing the crap out of me.....I applied a MM theme and it FC'd as soon as it would hit the phone.apk, but when I'd reboot the phone would be themed.....contacts.apk, never would have thought about that one.
Thanks for the info.

That is exactly why I made it flashable vs MM, due to them darn annoying FC's when MM was flashing the phone and contacts apk...
Will upload and share in a jif!
Normal rules apply, I am not responsible if you brick your phone, yada yada... [EDIT] Do make a nadroid backup
Here is the flash-able theme I created. BlkandBlueStorm
I got most of the blue from nonsensikal and other pieces here and there, don't recall right now where. (if you are the owner/creator of any piece let me know so I can give credit where credit is due.)
Just flash like a normal ROM or open it up and see how it was built. If you take it apart and add your own tweaks, you'll need to resign the package so that you can flash it just like any ROM.
curious to know what you think of it.
Just tried it and it put my phone into a cycle of rebooting. Thanks anyways

sorry, mate, I was reading that some folks were having issues with flashing themes to kaosfroyo 35-1 and thats when I decided it was time to try out another froyo rom.
Funny thing is that the theme works great on kaos 34 and nonsensikal v 7.5, however when flashing to nonsensikal 8.2 my wifi status symbol disappears. I have looked and all the files match between my theme and the roms files. Puzzling and will be working on it. If I get it working correctly, I'll let you know.
Sounds good appreciate the work

Fyi, i find it easier to click 'recent posts' on the right hand side of the main page.
I'm kind of regretting installing this fix now. The clock gets cut off on the right-hand side of the far right number so that you can't see the entire number on the screen.
Still waiting on the official reboot fix. I didn't realize how often I used Reboot until it was gone.

[Theme] WIP CM7 NexTheme

Ok here is one of my all time favorite themes, NexTheme!
This is for CM7 posted at 6/1/11 - 10:40PM in the CM7 thread.
Currently it's only the Framework, SystemUI and Settings. (which themes most of the phone)
I will be going through and theming the apps later this week (crazy busy at work this week but I'm trying to have the apps done by the weekend). If anyone here has seen my work on the OG Droid you will know I'm very detailed and have added quite a bit that the original theme did not have so stayed tuned.
If you find anything missing please let me know so I can update it, (not the apps of course at this point). Oh yeah I threw some old school animations in it as well.
As always please make a backup just in case.
This is a .zip file and installs like any other .zip, just don't wipe when flashing.
Let me know what you think so far, good, bad or indifferent.
http://www.mediafire.com/?j61fy7o0ua6dj5v
Saved for update.
And one more just in case.
Cool ill check it out. Thx

working on one
i have a blue version and a purple version of "nextheme" that I am uploading righ t now. Hopefully I'll be able to post links and photos...
The way I "theme" is basically just the entire rom and the theme chooser to make it more complete. Seems like the theme chooser won't theme everything.
if anyone is interested....

The standard drop on SD card flash via Rom Manager.
But i would love for someone to just take the framework for system and apps and put it on a Tmobile theme engine.
