Development for this ROM has stopped.
Thread is therefor closed.
New thread with Android 4.3 ROM will come soon.
This ROM is my first trial to build a Android 4.2.1 ROM for the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1.
It is based on CyanogenMod 10.1 but flavored with my small own changes as usual.
GApps for JB 4.2 is included in the ROM.
FLASH THIS ROM ON YOUR OWN RISK! YOUR WARRANTY WILL BE GONE AFTER YOU FLASHED THIS ROM.
ONLY THE ROM FOR THE GALAXY TAB 10.1 3G (GT-P7500) IS TESTED BY ME. THE OTHER ROM VERSIONS ARE NOT TESTED.

Tips:
After flashing the tablet seems not to boot:
Give it time. I mean a long time!!! It will boot. First time I flashed this ROM I thought it would not work, but it just takes a long time to boot. The bootanimation will be seen only short time, then the screen turns black. Just wait until the setup screen pops up. But it should take longer than 5 minutes. If the bootanimation is shown for a long time and the tablet does not boot, try
1) reflash the ROM
2) check that the zip file was not damaged during download (you can find the md5 checksums for all ROMs on my homepage)
How to get Developer options in Settings:
Click on Build number several times until it says that you are a developer
How to enable MTP:
Settings->Storage->Menu (3 dots top right)->USB computer connection->Tick Media device (MTP)
Organisation SD-card:
The original content of your SD-card is now in sdcard0/0
This is related to users management and I cannot change it.
LongPress on home button, then move finger up opens Quick Launch (CM10.1 feature):
Access QuickLaunch when the navigation bar is not centered:
First train your thumb to access the QuickLaunch panel with the navigation bar centered. Press the home button, then move your thumb up and the Quick Launch will appear. After you got used to it move your Navigation Bar to the left or right (whatever you prefer). Press the home button and move your finger up. Then press again just above the Samsung logo in the middle and the Quick Launch will appear. Still working on a better solution.
Show Pie-chart control when in expanded desktop mode:
First you have to setup the position of the pie-chart navigation in settings and activated the expanded desktop. After activating you move your finger slowly from the outside of the screen into the screen to activate the pie chart (works on all 4 sides). Just try it and be patient to get used to it!

Found a small typo in the source code where I changed the power menu looks. That causes Reboot not to work. Will make update next weekend and correct it.

As shown at Android-Hilfe.de you need to change the source code and then recompile the ROM. It is not possible to fix it on the finished ROM.

Hi BeeGee, I enjoyed your previous works. I dare to ask a favour...
I wonder if you can investigate the well-known Veetle HD video problem of CM10/10.1 based roms. Maybe you'll find a way to solve this strange thing: why videos in HD mode start for a second and then suddenly stop.
Thanks and excuse me if my question is of minor importance, but that app is very important to me.
Respect and keep up the good work! :good:
Hi BeeGee just wondering when you say "CyanogenMod 10.1 but flavored with my small own changes as usual".
What are the advantages with your Flavors over CyanogenMod 10.1.

Hi BeeGee, Veetle is a video streaming app, similar to Netflix, to watch videos broadcasted by users.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.veetle.android.lite
Maybe is unavailable in your area? Check also veetle.com.
Thanks!

I finally found it and had a quick check on it. The logcat shows that veetle is waiting for some response which seems not to come and then it ends the play. A report is send in the background to veetle.com. So I guess that they are aware of the problem. Not sure if I can do anything in the ROM to solve the problem. Veetle might have a problem with Android 4.2. I saw on the Google market that a lot of users are complaining about problems.
Sorry, I don't think I can help here.
PS:
I tried it on my Galaxy Note which is running Android 4.1 (CM10 based) and Veetle works there without problems.
Unfortunately I do not have a Android 4.2 ROM for my Note yet.
Maybe the problem is a combination of Android 4.x and tablet? Or a problem of the proprietary camera drivers coming from older Android version?????

YES,build date is june 27
BUT,It's sync Kristianp‘s code
If the code is released by then, we will have the same problem of battery consumption high, right? Do not have the flash of the camera, right? Thus, the kernel is now compiled the same as we have in the CM9 and CM10.1 ePinter. Am I wrong?
Rom nifty. Legal purposes. But these bugs detected so far, except the drums.
- Flash does not work;
- Radio is not recognized, or without communication;
- Keyboard does not work.
I would like to give it a try if it is in english..

When you install the ROM on your device, you must install the GAPPS also use the version used in the ROM ePinter. With it, you can select the language on the first start. I used it and selected Portuguese-Brazil quietly. only problem is that radio will not work.

I'm downloading now, but it is very slow. I will try to reupload to mega as soon as possible.
With the radio suggested, can make phone calls and even use bluetooth, but unfortunately it does not work the wi-fi, which to me, is paramount. So I can not test it for longer. Another thing, from what I saw on the battery widget pro, battery consumption dropped significantly. Any other user who test the rom, please, put your impression.

i think starting a new thread for every problem will end up causing you alot of other problems.
keep your problems in the correct thread you made in the first place. it keeps form filling the forum with useless threads.
Try clocksync app. And there's a thread for discussion about this ROM in the general section. Better to post there from next time instead of creating a new thread

There's a Google+ group/community where tonyp posts his test builds. For link to this group, check his thread.
just flash NitzDisabler.zip from pengus CM10 thread. After I installed Tonyp's testbuild-5 everything went well for a week and then a total mess  with the time and date but I tried if the NitzDisabler is working on Cm10.1 and yep it worked so I recomend to download it and flash it :fingers-crossed:
I am going to post nightly builds of Cyanogenmod 12.1 for the GT-I9195 only.
The idea is to have some up-to-date 12.1 builds. CM13 might be ready but I stick with 12.1 for now.
Please keep in mind that it is a good idea to use the latest build of 12.1 because of important security fixes.
The posted nightlies are built from the official sources. Please note that I made two modifications to the code:
I.) I patched call recording into the rom - it is now possible to record calls from within the dialer menu. Please respect the privacy of others.
II.) I patched signature spoofing support into the rom. Now it is possbible to install microG GmsCore. This is a way to get rid of the proprietary GAPPS. Signature Spoofing is disabled by default and can be enabled in the developer settings menu.
I plan to update this thread from time to time - next version will be built when Android security patch level for April is reached.
I strongly recommend to use this build or build it on your own because of critical bugs that got fixed with the March patch level.

Any general fixes/updates or just security patches? e:fingers-crossed:
I reflased my last snapshot release from november and root doesnt work (I have turn it on in developer menu).
@echo12: Well, I think there is a good amount of general fixes. To find out what exactly got fixed one would have to check Gerrit Code Review.
@wenna.speedy: I don't think that it has to do with the version I published. Root works fine for me. Maybe reflashing works. Or clean flashing. But I am afraid I cannot help you with that.
Flashed it yesterday coming from unrooted stock, seems to work fine!
Thanks a lot and greetings from Germany

Is it applicable to GT-I9192?
Hello again from Germany,
just found a (minor) error in the ROM, concerning the cLock widget and the weather data in the notification area.
I first told cLock to use custom location and not GPS data. Now, even if I delete every cLock widget and tell it to use GPS, the cLock widget as well the weather data in the notification area always use the last *custom* location I entered instead of the GPS data.
Any ideas? Google Maps locates fine...
Greetings
René

I seem to have lost root flashing this ROM .....patch level 02/2016, not sure if it's related to your issue but I also had the last snapshot ROM (YOG7) prior to this install. Though I suspect it may be unrelated to this ROM as there seems to be a random occurrences of this happening. It may be that when I got the message "root may have been lost etc" after flashing I selected "YES" preserve, even though I have always selected YES & it's worked before. Though I have read posts saying you should select YES, others saying NO and some saying it makes no difference. From now on I'll be selecting NO as most posts say this.
I wanted to run the BatteryCalibration app as batt not calibrated right since this install (battery was only about 50% when I flashed & I had it plugged into a power source :silly but to my surprise it says "root phone first". I have checked apps in PrivacyGuard eg Titanium is set to root access (and shows a number of uses prior) but now says it does not have root. Also I have enabled root access for apps & ADB in developers, which shows it rooted (but no # when using an app with root access). Root checker says "Sorry, root access is not properly installed on this device"
---------- Post added at 10:27 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:04 PM ----------
Just reflashed "patch level 02/2016" & GApps and selected NO when asked to save root. And everything is now working how it should with all apps that should have root access having root access.
Thank you for continuing to maintain 12.1 for serranoltexx.
I'm still on the last official 12.1 nightly from dec15. Can I simply update to this one as from nightly to nightly?
Thank you.

Yes, you can.
(I did this coming from a snapshot)
I updated my device without problems before was the last official version (dec/15).
From a specific official version saw some problems:
1 - Sensor Irda is not working.
2 - Alarm has no option to mute / snooze shaking or turning upside down.
3 - I can not remember now. : D
It is not the fault of the unofficial version, but something that was "commented" in the source code of the official version is still replicating.

They are working for me
1 - Though not sure if you mean the Irda "sensor" specifically ie. it does not receive an IR signal but will still send one. I have used IR to send signal as Twinone remote app is working fine with my Samsung TV, haven't used it to receive IR though, so you may be right if you specifically mean receive.
2- You can set the gestures for alarm by going to clock>alarm>three dots (for some reason it is at the BOTTOM of the screen, not the top as in most apps! Maybe that is why you didn't see it.) there you can set actions for both shake & turn over, it is working fine on my phone.
Hello everybody , Since I've installed CM13 on my Nexus 6 , I couldn't disable the quick settings menu on lock screen . So anyone who doesn't know the PIN can easily switch on/off mobile data , WiFi , Location services ... etc
I've tried GravityBox quick settings option but it made a duplicate quick settings ... The CM one and the other Gravitybox one aside the first .
My device : Nexus 6
ROM : CyanogenMod 13 (Snapshot release)
I hope you guys help me with this .
Thank you .
If I remember right, the last snapshot is buggy, so try latest nightly maybe.

Update scenario 3: CM 13.0 nightly user :
Update steps: Stop. Step away from the phone. Do not flash these builds, you are already on a newer codebase (Android 6.0.1_r22). Attempting to flash these release builds will result in crashes due to attempted database downgrades. Don’t do it.
If you want to swap off nightlies and stick to our release channel, you will have to wipe to take these builds.

I have no lags with that Snapshot version , And that problem appeared since I used nightly versions also .
Ok, good to know, i flashed nightly a few days ago, but cm pur is not my daily driver, so I flashed back to stock and mod myself, no issues, but I always do a clean install. Did you try other cm builds ? May on unofficial you don't have those problems
Edit:
Ok, this problem has a long history, if I goolge it. best thing if you feel more save is to remove the unwanted settings like WiFi etc from quicksetting completly, not a good solution.
