Hey guys, this is the CM6.1.1 Gingerbread theme
DOWNLOAD FLASHABLE GINGERBREAD THEME HERE
UPDATE 12/25 : UPDATED CMPARTS.APK FROM LADIOS AND ADDED dalvik.vm.dexopt-data-only=1 TO THE LAST LINE OF BUILD.PROP FROM ATTN1. [V0.2]
UPDATE 12/27 : Fixed framework-res.apk [v0.3]
V0.1 FIXED : Notification bar pulldown power control widget has a black wifi icon and white gps/bluetooth/sound
V0.2 FIXED : SHOULD OF FIXED BOOTLOOPS FOR MOST PEOPLE BY ADDING LINE TO BUILD.PROP
V0.3 FIXED : SHOULD OF FIXED HUGE HEADPHONE ICON AND MORE PULLDOWN POWER WIDGET COLOR ICON PROBLEMS
[I TAKE SOME CREDIT FOR THIS WORK, IT IS DONE BY THE WORK OF : ATTN1, ASIMMONS, LADIOS, BELAC AND GANNI]
ASimmons made the wonderful hdpi to mdpi theme porter, and Ganni made the base of this theme, thanks to them! All I did was run the tool and decompile the framework and edit the script. Thanks to Belac for the LiveWallapers.apk and Attn1 and him for helping me compile this stuff.

So if I already have cm6.1.1 installed, can I just install the Gingerbreadxml.rar and framework-res.apk for the theme to work? Or do I have to reinstall cm6.1.1 with GM theme built in? Thanks

You could, but I would just flash the rom zip over what you have as it has a few extras like the gingerbread browser and phone apk.
Nice find, brswatt. Finally a full theme that doesn't break my tethering. Updating my thread to point to this one.

You could, but you wouldn't have the gingerbread dialer.
So just flash the whole thing. It doesn't hurt.
Then just put the xml on your card.

Here is a LiveWallpapers.apk to adb push or include in that rom before you flash. I replaced the cyanogenmod wallpaper with the nexus s wallpaper.

Does the nexus s live wallpaper work on the Aria? I tried many times before, but it didn't work.

This isn't the actual nexus s wallpaper....it is our livewallpapers.apk with that background in so it is identical.

Yes, but they keyboard didn't seem to apply right.
Attn1 is in the process of helping me make a flashable zip for the framework, dialer, and keyboard.

Ive got a multi-language gingerbread keyboard the size is 6.2 mb if your interested.

I put the gingerbread.xml in the cmparts.apk, so we don't need to save it to sdcard/cmtheme.
About the flashable, by the time you run the cleanup.sh, /system might be not mounted. Nevermind, files will be overwritten anyway. But I still think files delete and set-perm should be done within update-script.
EDIT: File updated. Sorry I didn't know it only loads internal theme files that contain the word "STOCK".

Nice theme, but is there a way to get the old notification pull down back? I like the dark themed pulldown better.

Ohh Theme Choser Is for CM 7..
I just installed Crazy Home Lite..Gives you 3 Desktop with 3different Theme (Up to you) work alongside with ADW Theme..And on each desktop it has 5 screens..
Anyway still looking for nice widgets such as those on HTC sense..?If anyone got any clue how to get those let me know..

Make sure everything is green in summary..And upload the two files SystemUI.apk and framework-res.apk..
Download when its cooked..and install via CWM..
Always do a backup of your rom..

Following this method - does it add on to your ROM or does it install a fresh ROM with the theme in it?
I just tried Launcher7 - it adds a windows phone 7 home screen and app launcher (kind of nice for now)

Only problem I can think of, if it gets borked, how do you recover, short of a ROM reflash? Theres no CWM theme to flash, which was a saving grace.

Before anything the theme guide link posted its a lil outdated. I suggest downloading a fully working theme open the zip and see how the new system work. Also the lock screen png files change its not sliding_xxxx its lock_screen_button_bg.9 ect ect. The wifi,status bar and service signal ect are located under system/app/systemUI.apk . Hope this helps.

I just unzips all the system app the the png are in the system apps. the dialer is in the contacts apk.

p.s. On Nik's rom this theme will look nicer because of the black notification bar and the white font in notification bar, and it is very simple to make the clock blue because of the tweaks.

Meanwhile, a small doubt,
I applied this theme and now I would like to revert back to original theme.
I tried to set the original but few effects and settings icons are still there.
Tried wiping cache+dalvik but no luck.
Any suggestions ?

open the IceHD zip and change the files inside of the zip with the original files of Virtous Affinity
go in recovery and flash the zip

Hi,can you help to solve this? there are a vertical white line in each contact's picture for contact app... I get this only after flash theme, apply skin. I did sync and reboot phone after that.

Just for your information, even i delete phone.apk from the archive, it still have that vertical white line after i reboot & sync my phone..
But the theme look really nice though, thanks for the port

i redo the whole process according to your advise, the white vertical line appear only after i install the skin ... so i removed the skin , and the white vertical line disappear
will continue observe whether this is the main cause, anyway thanks

I did not fully understand what you wrote you want me to port IceHD or HoneyHD for Android Revolution? I do not have time for revolution. nothing interesting
if There will be an update for trinity or affinity I will for sure make an update of the ports
