Video not working, Camera is working ok, and no BT.
Everything else is working nicely so far.
FM Radio is also working with IRs Kernel from July 22.

Hi all,
I don't know if it's possible with previous versions to JPH, but I have connected an Apple mice and a keyboard to my SGS with the stock JPH rom, without any hack, it works great.
This phone, and of course Android, is amazing!!
Cheers!
EDIT: sorry I forget to say that the mice and keyboard are bluetooth

It sounds great..
as far as I knew there was not HID drivers on previous firmwares..
Would you be able to try with a Wiimote using this app?
http://www.appbrain.com/app/com.ccpcreations.android.WiiUseAndroid
Yes, yes, I'm too lazy to flash JPH and try by myself
I pray that you are correct, if so that removes my only remaining small gripe with the phone (can't wait to try out my Datel Retro Wireless controller!!!!).
Can anybody else confirm?
(...having just got my GS perfectly set up with Voodoo and a bunch of other things I don't want to flash again unless this is solid)
Fantastic news to me, there's hope for my Logitech Di-Novo mini then! I'll shed a tear if it turns out it finally will work.

Yep, I will be well stoked, will upload a video showing the emulators with the Detal Retro Wireless to YouTube STAT!
Great news, only if I had a bluetooth keyboard to try it out.
I asked at Modaco, another user there confirms he is using a Dell BT Mouse with his... Looks like I have a flash in front of me right now!

I tried to pair with the wiimote, but it asks for a pin, does anyone knows it?, or it must be paired using another method?

I tried it, but I think that it doesn´t detect bluetooth on galaxy, because BT is active but the app says not :-(

Yep, I realised that the problem of Wiimote controller is not the absence of HID drivers..
It's because Touchwiz uses his own bluetooth module (maybe i'm technically wrong, but this is the substance) instead of the Android one. The same happens with HTC phones with Sense..
And that app doesn't recognize Bluetooth!
I'm pretty sure we'll be able to pair and play with the Wiimote if/when CyanogenMod (AOSP rom that use "normal" bluetooth) will be out.

that's so cool man
though all the multi-touch are gone, but it feels a very precise selection when use the mouse click instead of my thick hand
Thanks for the links!
I already have an iGo Ultraslim Stowaway BT keyboard, just purchased a Dell 5-button BT Mouse (which another use confirms is a go with the GS). With my TV Out should be nice (especially when I can't get on my computer at home because the fiance needs it for work purposes a lot at present!).
This update is now included in Nix's MIUI 0.9.30.1 so this thread isn't needed any longer.

Good work man. I will try this out tomorrow at work
Excellent work much appreciated I know many will be happy to hear this news. And I agre this is by far the most stable aosp ROM I've used on the Inc now going on 5 days
Awesome job dude, I'm sure this will make many people smile.
Thanks folks. It makes me happy to make Dinc users happier.
P.S. I hope someone tries it, posts back and lets me know that I'm not crazy for thinking it works for me. LOL
Works great with my ford sync for phone calls. No go for audio streaming says it streaming but no sound. Great work though, much appreciated.

Thanks for the feedback. Tomorrow, I'll try to take a bunch from CM6 bluetooth files (with credit of course) and see if it resolves that. I may have to buy some type of A2DP device, to test with.
CM6 stream audio fine to your stereo?
Yes it worked fine. I will be happy to test your next version also. Thanks again.
Amazing work jermaine151. BT connects and works for calls. Now we just gotta get the streaming working. Works great on CM and Shadow if that helps at all.

Thanks B! I'm jumping into that one tomorrow. Gotta get up early for work. I plan on getting the bluetooth libs from CM6 and seeing if they'll play nice. I gotta find a cheap pair of headphones to test with. My PC doesn't support A2DP from the phone and neither does my PS3. Sucks. We'll get it together. I'm going to edit the thread title so no one is misled.
Nite all!
so we just flash this after we have flashed the rom?
Thank you, jermaine 151! Works just like it should!

Got my wiimote working in a couple minutes. Works great with gameboid. Thanks Jermaine. Wifi is still working for me too as I'm using it now.
Is there a major difference between the CM6 bluetooth stack and the stock HTC bluetooth stack?
My Parrot car kit connected just fine with the stock ROM, but I could never connect with CM6. It will pair fine, but it cannot connect. My Jabra Extreme pairs and connects just fine.
Anybody else?
BTW, thanks for your hard work jermaine!

Yes, I would flash the rom, boot up and run through the wizard and then reboot and flash this. However, you can try doing them at the same time, in recovery (rom first, of course), and report back if it works.
Great work!

Just confirming - Vibrate doesn't work for me either. Likely won't until someone gets the source and changes it.
Same here, vibration is not working.
didn't work with 2.2 keyboard either.
nope, doesn't work.
On Cognition 2.3b6 or P8.
If they had a problem with getting vibration on the 2.2 keyboard or the droid x multitouch one, then is it even possible for them to do?

it isn't working yet but I'm sure one of the great devs here can eventually make it happen.
I've got a Galaxy S (Vibrant) running Froyo 2.2 JK2.
***Confirming***
I've installed the 2.3 Gingerbread Keyboard and so far the only thing not working is the "vibrate on key press."
I got it working on the version I have... I can post it later, but I found it somewhere on XDA.

However, I never tried on 2.2. If I remember corectly, FroyoPro by IrakkarI had an .apk in the downloads section, said that it was supposed to work into froyopro 2.5.
Now, if it works, considering that rom was based on DX's work, maybe there is still hope. :

Yup, I know, I tried that now.
edit - on an iphone...
But my argument is that may work on stock kernel if OP said so, but on froyo 2.2. and I was wondering if anyone tried.
No worries, I will try that this week-end, and report back. ok, it works. but not all devices connect....
Cheers,
so, good news!
it works, use Barnacle tethering from market.
There is a trick, though. I am no expert, so I will just tell you: My Samsung connected to X8 tether, but the Tablet did not.
My other coleague iphone did not, as well...
So, I request someone more used to wifi connection, that might explain it.
Related to dinamic IP? or mac address? or what?
Fact is, it works.
Both froyopro and gdx30!!!
