Disable HTC Weather Animations

Hey guys. Cant seem to find the solution to my problem. No matter what I do I can not get the HTC weather animation to stop. Even when I am not using the wigdet, the sun or rain animations happen on the home screen when unlocking. Very weird. I've turned it off but it still happens. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
Running HTC Inspire with Android Revolution 3.2.

Delete clock widget from home screen. Add it back and while doing so unchecked weather animation.

Thanks nuttkrak but nothing seems to work. No matter which ROM I am using. I wouldn't mind the animation but I'm not even using that widget.

I'm gonna flash a sense based rom this weekend. I will let u know my findings.

I installed a sense based ROM and removed all HTC widgets. Went to accounts and sync. Disabled weather. Went to location. Disabled location based services. No weather animation is shown on mine. Even I added new locations to clocks and weather later. This was my intention.
Please do the same steps and see if this works.

Thanks for your help. It seems no matter what I do or which Rom I'm using that damn animation still persists. I did everything you said and I even disabled HTC Sense under sync. Unbelievable!

Enable recent app.in notification area

Hi everyone, it's possible to have a any way how to get recent application in notification area? I been installed new theme for sense 3,but I lost this option... Thanks

Just flash the one uploaded by liamsters on his animation theme thread. I really dont understand why do mods or new themes now removed this feature. It is much easier to access than pressing the home menu.

[Q] Revert to default Android lock screen.

Hello,
I was wondering if it is possible to change the lock screen on the Captivate to the default android lock screen.
Right now (default) it has a transparent grey rectangle that must be dragged off the screen, but I would much rather have the stock Android unlock (with the green slider).
Any tips are appreciated.

I have the stock rom, and I don't really want to switch roms. Is it possible to change without changing roms?

A few ICS questions

So maybe I'm having a major brain.Gary and missing it someplace but can you not change the shortcut icons on the lock screen? Also, is the face unlock only a Nexus option or an ICS feature?

Yes, set it to immediately then it will ask for face or pattern unlock immediately after screen off.
The lock screen icons are the 4 shortcuts you have from the home screen shortcuts. Currently they are one and the same, and you cannot have a separate set for the lock screen.

When you change the dock apps they become the lock screen apps

Lockscreen Wallpaper

Im on ICS stock unrooted. When I go to the Lockscreen options there is a settings tab under the wallpaper lockscreen which gives you the option of using a custom wallpaper. I have not been able to get this to work. Anyone out there that has been able to?and if so tell us how you did it.
