hey guys,
ive been here on xda for a while and in the background ive been working on a new website with a few friends after getting tired of the closed source nature of defense reporting.
NexGenDefense
The idea is that with the wiki, forum and user submitted articles we can provide a bit more a balanced view of the world of defense, aviation etc.
If anyone is interested please have a look, drop me some suggestions and if you want to contribute just let me know (we have a fair amount of aviation contributors but could do with Cyber / maritime guys).
We are supported by the ads, so if you can click one or 2 every little helps!
All feedback welcome;
Geeky

Hey all,
I'm an avid web developer and major time Android fan, I'm looking for a few people that also share my passion for Android - people that have well profound English skills.
I am in the process of developing an Android blog, whilst this may seem unneeded and a tad bit of extra competition to the many other well established blogs, I am sure that my upcoming blog will surpass all other blogs due to the content, context and a secret few features which I disclose at this current time.
All writers, will receive many benefits such as free products, applications as well as money (which is produced based on the amount of interaction with the community and views of your articles).
Sadly, I cannot enclose all the required documents, benefits or features of the upcoming blog but all will be clear once you're part of the team.
PS. I hope this is not against the rules of this forum as I post this in all respect.
Thank you.
UPDATE: Please visit http://www.droid-insider.com/2011/04/13/welcome-home/ for more information.
I must say SMCentral, I am VERY interested. I am a long time fan of Android and just fan technology period (especially in the mobile space). I believe I can provide some great insight into what you are trying to accomplish in your blog, if your willing to give me the opportunity of course.
I like writing poetry. it comes naturally. I've been told I was born before my time. Did and IQ test and apparently I am a Word Smith. I guess that helps.
I've contacted everything whom sent me PMs and posted in this topic.
If you are still interested, please do not hesitate to reply to this topic or send me a PM.
Thank you.

Wow - it's been a long time since I've looked at this topic. Sorry for bringing this topic back from the dead, it's just because that I felt a bit disrespectful creating a new topic for the same topic.
I would like to let people know that we still have spaces open for any writers, this is a paid job. So, please visit http://www.droid-insider.com/2011/04/13/welcome-home/ for more information.
Hi guys,
I'm one of the admins of the travel social network tripcolony.com and I would be glad to receive your tips and suggestions regarding the website, along with some volunteers for spare-time and quick betatesting while using the platform. Our priority right now is to improve it (it's still in beta version!) and make it a comfortable and useful service for many travelers and socially open people in general. That's why your feedbacks are important.
A quick explanation about what it really is first, so you get the gist of it.
TripColony aims to be an easy-to-use social network built by travelers for travelers. It wants to offer the chance for those who love to explore the world to get to know more of their future destinations through friendships with people living on the spot. You create your public profile, your private one for your friends, you set your style, you share the knowledge you have of the places and you just help and get helped. And why not, you might grow friends all around the world and meet them eventually.
We look forward to grow a consistent user-base but what matters most is caring about people's needs.
Soon we will start a "bring a friend, get rewarded" campaign (and of course betatesters get rewarded as well).
I'd really appreciate if any of you checked it out and gave their opinions.
Hi guys, I recent made a website (www.Peccassi.com) and am now looking for some more content creators and article writers. I already have a hand full of people but some more would be great! Peccassi covers World Affairs, Music, Music culture, Motors, Technology and Technology culture. I’m not looking for a News site as such. There’s no gap in the market for that. I’m looking for opinions. Not insulting, not being byist, but giving your opinion about matters in a informative but entertaining and appealing way. However, information still has to be reliable. That’s important. I'm quite serious about this site. I do want it to be a thing. It'd be cool if some people would give me a hand and hopefully we can build something awesome.
Anyone interested? Email me - [email protected]
Thanks guys
Archie.
Hey all!
My real name is Brandon Miniman, and you might have seen me on YouTube back in the day in Pocketnow videos. I live outside of Philadelphia, PA, and live with my wife and three kids (two girls and a boy), plus my puggle dog Ava.
I've used phones since the days of Windows Mobile phones (long live the HTC HD2 and Moto Q!). I currently use a Galaxy S21 Ultra and iPhone 12 mini.
Today, I'm part of the core leadership team at XDA where I spend my time overseeing operations (which includes working with mods, portal writers, and our technical team). Lately, since the upgrade from vBulletin to XenForo, I've been spending a lot of time working on a plan to grow the XDA community and make it the best place in the world to talk about phones. It's a tall order, and it's a bit complicated, so if you have any ideas or want to help, I'm all ears. My title is "user experience admin" because I'm the go-to guy for making the experience better on the site for users. That also means you can yell at me if you don't like something
You can follow me on Twitter if you care to: @brandonminiman. My DM box is always open if you have any questions or concerns about the site, or if you just want to say hi
Cheers Brandon!
hi everyone, im new here.
XDA was best warm home for AOSP.
XDA I like this portal for AOSP.
Hi every body, average user of modded rom, I'm here becauseof some mistake ... as usual...
Okay, you welcome!
"Hey there,
This is Tom and Andrew, Recognized Contributors on XDA."
Hey Tom, Andrew and every one.
I bumped into XDA first time, as I was trying to calibrate my Galaxy Watch sensors. I'm so amazed by the details available here. Though I never been part of any forum, XDA discussion on that topic gave me such a kick, I want to be part of the forum and I want to contribute, If I could.
Myself, with an Electrical Eng background, spent a good amount of life in EDA ( Electronic Design Automation / VLSI Design ) industry, I spend money to adopt new gadgets created by me fellow Electrical Engineers.
Currently my focus is to reinvent my math skills, to relearn classical mechanics with Lagrangian/Hamiltonian mechanics. My intention behind it is to get into robotics/mechtronics on my own like a college dropout. Let's find out what I would be able to contribute to XDA.... Bye!
