1st go in that ics rom n ask them or READ THE INSTRUCTION

its all in the development section. ull get all the infos there. choose which ics rom to use and read OP,first few n last few pages. if u still hv doubts. ask ur specific doubt to be more clear.
but all n1 ics roms excepr miui ics require blackrose. u need to knw that first...

Before installing ICS make sure to read properly on how to install Blackrose as you will need it to install Ice Cream Sandwich ROMS. Follow the instructions, once you installed blackrose everything will be plain and simple.

If u want official frmware n save upgrade just go to service center n u'll got 2.3.4 gingerbread version..
Of u like custom(unofficial)u can use Cyanogen,emanon.chocobread etc..on this forum..but make sure u understand what are u doing before try that..
U will get awesome thing with custom ROM...

if you want that theme then you have to flash that custom rom called andro-id by tj_style. check the link from last post of mine for details.

no you can not directly flash andro-id or biru on the 2.2.1. you have to flash v 2.3 first after that you can flash cwm recovery, andro-id and biru theme in your phone. Check the stickies on how to do that.

hello .. well i have a stock rom 4.0.3 and i want to upgrade it to this awesome blackCNA 2.1 rom .. i just don't understand how to flash the zip files i downloaded from there .. i also downloaded the aroma application and i don't know how to install it on my mobile
can someone help me step by step ? .. i have seen the video attached but can't get how he got aroma working and should i flash that hydra kernel using odin 1st ?
Don't wanna be rude but your not up to flashing I think. First of all you are on stock ICS and that's risky.
I don't think your device is ROOTED either.
Really I suggest you do sum reading before you proceed. There are guides for EVERYTHING you need,look for Dr.Ketan,he has links to usefull stuff in his signature.

thank you for your help mister .. well it worked and it has some bugs .. i can't take screenshots .. the Spen features aren't that good .. and the black color bothers me lol :$ .. how can i downgrade back to the stock 4.0.3 :$ :$ :$
hmmm,,download the stock ICS for ur region and install it using PC Odin 1.85

You should have read the rom OP before flashing it. Anyways, now do not flash stock ICS directly, first flash stock GB and then update to ICS.
Download GB firmware from here and check the instructions in same thread to use pc odin to flash.

In exactly this thread Chasmodo described the installation procedure very good. If I give you a step-by-step help it wouldn't be different from Chasmodo's.
And if this is too complicated or you do not have the energy or time to concentrate on it, you should stay on 4.0.4 and wait for the next official update to Jelly Bean.
As beginner who doesn't want to read you are in real danger to hard brick your device.
But maybe you don't even know the "speciality" of the N7000 with it's bricking danger.

well first thank you very much for your quick reply.i read the speps but there was steps only for cn users ! i dont now how to install a cm thats the poit.I show the video also but there was not so much setting on my recovery mode as on his.Also i know the dangers of this prosigure... and thats why i made a post for learning corectly the steps.But if u say that it would be better to wait for the jelly bean official update i trast u but i have the time to learn how to hack my rom...so in the end what u say i will do?
And the steps are not very compicated for me i juts what to learn the from top to the botom.

Search for your rom.
It will automaticly root your phone and phil touch recovery.

why philz kernel...because
1.its safe
2.can be flashed via stocked recovery
3.it gives you root+touch based cwm recovery+safe kernel.

The HTC Incredible S is not going to get official Jellybean from HTC. The only way to get Jellybean is through flashing a custom ROM but it will NOT have Sense (unless someone is going to port a jellybean release from HTC with Sense.
I made a guide on how flash custom ROMs and achieving S-OFF which is right in my sig. Just click the link, read once and make sure you understand, then just follow the guide.

true.. HTC will not be officially releasing updates post ICS.. but if you want to install custom Jelly Bean ROMS (there are a plenty), then download the ROMs from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1136463

Hi dude,what you need is CUSTOM ROMs for sure!But few JB ROMs have sense working bugless now,personally I like HTC sense very much so I'm not going to upgrade to JB recently.

You are correct, there are no ROMs running Sense and Jellybean for the incredible S. Personally, AOSP is much better and fluid in performance

Good/Best Rom questions/requests are simply against the XDA policy because only you can decide what's the best for you.
And you do not need to shout (using Capital Letters all the time)...

i managed to install it i just did the same step but this time i formatted the system and it worked and thanks for help!
