I have used diferent modems and i can't say i encountered problems with either one . I'm on vodafone romania.

This is not development, please post in correct section.
Just go to samfirmware or the firmware thread here, download a stock ROM for your country and carrier, and flash with Odin

Hi I am new to the galaxy note I am more used to HTC. Can you tell me the modem files ate they the same as the radio files of the HTC handsets, such as I can be on any room and just change the modem till I find one which best suits my signal in my area

Modem = Radio, same thing.
Modem is completely independent of your Rom/kernel.
You can flash ICS modems on GB Roms and vice-versa.
Is there any where where all the modems are and also how to flash

Quick question all iv been jumping roms as you do and iv decided to go back to stock so i flashed an UK/Ireland ics stock Rom xeu and it booted fine but after 1 update to the last ics release its telling me there is no more updates available? What happened to the jellybean release? Any1 else had the same?

Serial number being zero was an issue with ICS.. Should be fine after updating to JB
