As topic title.
For some reason I can't seem to post links.
I'm sorry but you'd have to copy and paste the URLs into the address bar of your browser manually.
Important note: The slow version may result in bootloops on some devices after several reboots. Sorry 'bout that. No problems reported with fast version so far.

Note: This is not a flashable zip.
Instructions:
1. Download the file onto your phone's SD Card, do not extract.
2. Mount SD card in phone.
3. Using Root Explorer or some other file manager, copy bootanimation.zip to /system/media/ and replace the original one there.
(Note: you must be rooted to do this. See here on how to: forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1377119)
4. Reboot your phone.
5. (Optional) You might want to set permissions on the file to 777.
5. ???
6. PROFIT!!1!
7. If that didn't work, try copying bootanimation.zip to /system/customize/resource/ instead and reboot.
8. If that didn't work, make sure you have S-OFF. forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=841076
9. If you're stuck in a boot loop with the animation freezing halfway, your copy of bootanimation.zip might be corrupted.
Restore from your backup and try again. Or reflash. Or access the system partition using your favourite method and change bootanimation.zip.

Hey guys,
I've enjoyed ARHD and XDA for so long - i thought i would give something back to the community.
This took me a few hours last night to work on - i've tested it on my own and it works great.
Test it out and tell me if you like it or not
Here is a .gif preview:
It may be different timing than the actual load (faster or slower depending on internet connection)
Also - the quality is blurry on this... it is less blurry (for me) on the actual phone:
Download Here
Enjoy!
Feedback welcome!
GUIDE TO CHANGE BOOT ANIMATION:
1. Download zip from link in OP
2. Download on your phone Root Explorer or use ES File explorer or a similar app.
3. Go to /system/data/local on your phone, and make a copy of bootanimation.zip on your SD Card
4. Place my bootanimation.zip onto SD Card (make sure you RENAME IT so it doesn't override stock bootanimation.
5. Move downloaded zip from SD card to /system/data/local and rename again to bootanimation.zip
6. reboot phone
Enjoy a new custom ARHD boot animation!
My bootanimation was found in data/drm and I copied & pasted a bootanimation in there to replace the old one but nothing happened, do I need to remove the old boot from there completely. I renamed it (the old one that is) but still no change in my boot.
Any answers

AS ALWAYS...
I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANYTHING THAT HAPPENS TO YOUR PHONE AS A RESULT OF USING THIS CONTENT, JUST AS IT IS NO ONE ELSES FAULT FOR ANY DAMAGE I MIGHT DO TO MINE. IF YOU DO NOT KNOW THE RISKS INVOLVED, YA MIGHT JUST BE BETTER OFF STICKING WITH STOCK. It's not that complicated, just do a little research. Plenty of knowledge floating around XDA...
Simple enough:
1:: download the .zip
2:: rename it (using ES File Explorer or Astro or any ROOT EXPLORER that will allow you to MOUNT SYSTEM AS WRITABLE) by simply cutting out the description so that it is just bootanimation.zip
3:: copy or cut the bootanimation.zip and paste it in the system/media folder
4:: you will be warned that the merge will overwrite the existing file and that the world will end (not really, just accept the merge)
REBOOT
CAUTION: DO NOT LOOK DIRECTLY AT THE ECLIPSE WITHOUT PROPER EYEWEAR

Plz read carefully as you are doing this at your own risk if you want to blame me you are always welcome !!!
If you want to backup your current bootanimation file then simply rename or copy somewhere else.
Don't do reboots just to see the bootanimation as reboots effects battery life so i made a gif animation and to hear with audio, a youtube link is uploaded.
Flashable file(MADbootanimation_Rfix.zip) (CWM recovery) and two files(bootanimation_Rfix.zip and android_audio.mp3) (root explorer) are provided in below links.
For 2nd method download bootanimation_Rfix.zip and rename to bootanimation.zip.
Hit my thanks meter and enjoy
All flashable files resides in 'system/media/"...." only'.
For different roms who have different places like data/local/"...." select the 2nd method of installation process.
Full animation preview may differ on different roms depending upon time of booting to lockscreen.
I do not have streak7 and havn't use any yet but i hope it's pretty same and will work for S7 so nandroid backup is recommended.
Follow all the steps carefully as we are all not PROFESSIONALS.

If I read this correctly I must be rooted to work??
IF so that I just want to say thanks for from the ones that use this on rooted machines!
I have tried all the steps and can not seem to root my device via the USB process and none of the rooting processes I have been pointed to work from the SIM CARD, on my factory Referbed 3.x installed WiFi device.

the wifi variant of the device doesnt have a SIM card slot, I suggest you know the names of what you are using before you ask for help, if you cant tell the difference between an SD card and a SIM card you probably shouldnt be f***ing around with stuff on here, just saying that it'd be for the best if learnt some more basic stuff before you did anything
I always admired this boot animation! Great work. You should give credit to Dell...not! haha

How to use the ZIP file:
Attention-The ZIP files are unflashable.
1. Download from the link given, rename it to bootanimation.zip after downloaded.
2. Copy the zip without extract to this directory "/storage/media", be sure you have root access to system, and don't forget to make a backup of original copy.
3. Reboot your phone to view the modified bootscreen.
*CM13 haven't been tested yet, but I'm sure it will work on it too if the bootanimation.zip file are same.
*Remember to choose the resolution that fit your screen size.
nice
Android 5.0 Warning: If you're running a 5.0/5.0.1 ROM, bootanimations longer than 30 frames will cause you to bootloop because of the memory bug in Lollipop.

Nubia Z17 Lite boot animation different
The Z17 Lite may be different than most phones in that it uses some more sub directories.
Load you zip file to System/media/theme/bootup instead of system/media.
I also cut all the picture and txt files and moved them to system/media/theme so the media manage would not find them.
