INSTALATION:
1 -First you installtheBB, Base Band V20q (only if you live in Europe). Watch this tutorial but only R375_SIC.fls select the file instead of the 2 files in the ROM [TUTO] Optimus2x - Flash with SmartFlash
2 - Copy the ZIP file in thephone's external SD.
3 -Go into recovery mode and (from the ROM Manager or from the terminal off and Power + Vol-pressing until the LG logo change):
- If a new installation to Wipe Data (this will erase all the terminal leaving hi mout of the box)
-If you come from a ROM Opti NO DO need any WIPE (only update your ROM version without deleting anything) select install zip, the zip search within the external SD and accept.
4 -If you want Over Clocking (OC) will have to install the Kernel Power Horse eXtreme or guestekrnL once flashed the ROM Opti.

First impression.
Very nicely built ROM. I love the animations and 3D buttons. Fantastic camera. Did not know that Flix has made such neat camera mod. Running on guestekrnL v1.6.1 right now. Maybe after some time will try his test kernel, once reach home. Also, I like the way you bundled the LG preloaded stuff in a folder. Really unique idea.

I have problem with uploading screenshot.
Your Pictures are from opened calendar, there is no problem.
My problem is with calendar widget on the desktop(Big black calendar on LG desktop.
After i tried to reduce the rows of desktop in setup to avoid the cut of widget, the Phone crash with some java crash messages. I had to recover the old firmware.

I flash now the 1.4.0
after installing version 1.4.0 the problem with cut of widget is not present anymore.
I don't try if the problem with reducing of rows and Java crash is present.
May I ask a stupid question? Where is the link for the 1.4 rom? In the first post it is only the 1.3.4 link.

Installation
In order to use this ROM you must have ClockworkMod Recovery installed - see my ClockworkMod Beta post for details.
Baseband 1035.21_20110622 is recommended, available in this topic.
To install this ROM:
Download the zip file of your choice from the links below (or the online kitchen) and copy to your SD card (/sdcard/_ExternalSD) - you must used a physical microSD card!
Restart your device in recovery mode
PERFORM A NANDROID BACKUP FROM THE MENU
Select the option to apply an update zip, and select the zip file you copied to your memory card - your device will auto convert to EXT4 on installation. You MUST use a physical microSD card!
If you have problems with Market licencing, check your device date!
Upgrading
A WIPE IS MANDATORY IF YOU ARE COMING FROM STOCK / MCR Fr3 OR EARLIER! Apologies, but this is unavoidable for this release. I recommend using Titanium Backup to back up your data. Wipe BEFORE installing the ROM.

Hi paul... I have tried your Fr5 and it is damned fast and smooth!! I haven't tried the new Fr6 but i would really love to have just the stock android lockscreen into the Fr5 version.. Is it possible to do so? Is there any files that i can copy and install just to have the stock lockscreen on my phone?
To be frank at 1st I have regretted to buy my LG 2X and i feel that my previous HTC phones was faster and have no lagginess as to my LG with the stock rom... But after flashing your custom roms I have now feel that this phone have a great potential to be the best and the fastest phone on the market right now..
Lastly, I wish to thank you for the great roms that you have made for the LG Optimus 2x community..

My score has gone down a full 3000 points in An3DBenchXL (tested it on FR4), from 37k to 34K.
Ran it twice both in FR4 and in FR6 (vanilla edition). Any guesses as to why?

I thought to design this ROM for those who need a stable, fast, optimized, customizable and elegant ROM.
A ROM reference especially for those who don't want to change ROM every 2 days or for thos who always want a stable ROM in their SD card in case of need!
This ROM is one of a set of ROMS who come out only when there is an LG official update. The word FR indicates that is based on FROYO. When will come the official ROM based on gingerbread, the ROMS will take the name FLAIR GR.

- The separator bar for sections on dialler are conflicting with selected option
- The title of mms.apk is too close of the border
- the "drag to unlock" text its interfering with lockscreen layout
- the letter title background on contacts app its ugly

- At my 990h-v10c i got the automatic update to the newest Android Market, on your 10d i cant get it

Have you read the news lately ? I would say it's definetly nececerly to have some security on your phone, there is a lot of malware on the internet
Android will be a big target for malware developers etc...
Just choose one of the security apps out of the Market.
I am using Mcaffee Wavesecure for years now.

V-MIUI v3 - HTX Edition - for GT540
v3 is a port from HTX MIUI 0.35 for HTC Hero. I didnt resize anything so there is no bug in launcher and theme. I delete many unnecessary apps to make the rom lighter, so it will fit 150MB system partition. I also replace default MIUI File Manager with MIUI File Manager with root option, replace MIUI Gallery (too slow) with QuickPic. Android's default browser is replace by Dolphine (in Chinese) by HTX's author, but I replace Chinese Dolphine with Dolphine Mini (quicker, less ram usage) If you want the default browser, just copy it from Build Three
After 1 day testing, I can say that it's quite stable, no hang at all. Free mem > 50MB
Recommend settings:
- Governor: SMARTARTv2
- Min CPU: 320 - Max CPU: 748
- Enable Lock in memory in launcher's setting
What work:
- Everything that work on Build Three
- Themes can be changed without reboot, almost everything will be themed. (but not Lockscreen. We have to use MDPI-resized one)
What doesnt work:
- Some app crash: X-plorer, Friendcaster. Other apps work flawlessly.
- You test and tell me
Notice:
- In first boot, the rom's quite lag and slow, but after change Governors and Min-Max CPU in Cyanogenmod Settings and reboot, it will fly
- To get theme working: go to /data/system/ --> create new folder name: theme
- When apply any themes, remember to untick: boot animation and lockscreen

thats why i turned back from miroslavs rom ;D hope this one does it better.
maybe you should try to implement the new adreno libs giving miro's roms 70 fps on neocore ;D

if i wanna apply themes ( eg i downloaded m9 theme ) you say i have to unselect bootanimation and lockscreen. thats bcos of the wrong screen resolution ? and miLocker uses the right resolution ?
and the other themed things do work without problems ?

You can use any theme Just remember to unselect boot animation and lockscreen when apply theme.

It fix some problems in miro's rom, and use kernel .32 so it faster.

Yes. because MIUI theme manager can't convert lockscreen to the right resolution, while MiLocker handles it quite well (not every lockscreen can be convert properly, but most of them work fine ). The other themed things work without problems.

The idea is to do a ROM as stable as possible, with all the functionality of the phone, quickly and with better battery consumption.
Considerations:
This ROM is in ext3 and it may be necessary to install the kernel for your tegrapart after the rom
When language support was added in the menu option appears 4G that is "not functional" when I will find out how to remove it I'll do it.
When using the Gallery option in the menu mirroring the application crash. Use the gallery from the menu on the phone itself.
If you have problems to start wifi install the kernel of your tegrapart

sir here's the problem i found
Settings > Wireless connection > 4g setting, when i clicked it it forced close the settings application,
Wallpapers setting force close when i try to change the wallpaper. via plugin wallpaper
so far 60% in battery life in 2g mode + straight wifi used, download and upload and post status
still exploring

this rom is rock! it last upto 7 hrs using heavy wifi, browsing, searching, listen to music, quite call and heavy text as far as i use. this tom is heavy duty like everyready battery ahahahaha.

Just one thing gustrick. Could you change the Toggles in notification bar so they have a bar under them that lights up when on and dark when off. At the moment the colour change isn't that noticeable. The blue-tooth icon for on or off is almost the same colour.

NO.
I can see why aroma is awesome for CyanogenMod so you can add the gapp that can't be pre-installed. But this is a tweaked stock firmware.
Anyway I didn't make this. This is just my views about aroma. I am old school and don't find it hard to remove root apps I don't want. Thats why I don't really get aroma. I would much prefer the dev to set up the ROM to how they think is best then give me a huge amount of options on what I should install and what I shouldn't.
If the Dev doesn't think its a good idea installing it then why have it as an option? Why not have it as the default install.
The only thing I can see aroma being good for is default launchers. But it really isn't hard to install the launcher you want and remove the default one. Now I think about it, I could just make up CWM zip that just replaces the default launcher making the amount you have to download smaller. If someone adds every available launcher for install for aroma. Its just adding to the size of the download for things people don't want.
Give me the download for the ROM then CWM zips for other launcher's. I know we are all on broadband now but still.

And I gave gustrick permission to use it. If you look at the linked post, I gave everyone permission to use it, but gustrick personally PM me asking if he could use it to work from. I am an open source dev. I want people to use my work. I don't really care if I get credited. Be nice if I did but I rather see my work/code shared in many projects, but gustrick went out of his way, even though I said anyone could use it, to get permission from me.
GingerMod is a AT&T based rom (like every other ROM on here). The firmware I used was from the 4.5.2A-51_OLL-17.8.
I personally installed the SBF. With a chance of bricking my EU phone flashing it, then rooted it and unlocked it. Then used CWM to make a backup so I could DeOdexed and zipalign it.
From there I had a fresh ROM I could work from. The ROM this is based on is not copied from anyone else. A lot of the tweaks where done by other people but they all got the credit they deserve.
We are all here to make the best rom for the Atrix as possible. I don't think people are here to tread on toes.
