[THEME][TABLET] Ice Cream Sandwich Theme for MSI Enjoy (beta1) - Android Themes

Hello everybody!
Windpad Enjoy users know how much boring and old-fashion it looks! the first Gingerbread version (2.3.1), totally an innovation without style!
And then..., No organized developer group, No special support, No try to port Cyanogenmod or any other sexy ROM by the users! seems this tablet is alone, really alone.
These days, we all look for a HC or ICS ROM update by MSI but until that time, HERE IS THE FIRST ICE CREAM SANDWICH THEME for our tablets:
Features:
- Original ICS Look
- ICS Softkeys instead of MSI's
- Dark Statusbar with ICS Icons
- ICS Settings Icons
- ICS Ringtones

Your Enjoy7 files have been added to Post #1. Thank you!

Setting the DPI to 120 using DPI Changer(on the market for free) causes the Enjoy 7 to display text better in some instances.

Hi there,
I've taken a few screenshots, and although I know they deviate on grounds of the wallpaper and lockscreen and the exclusion of widgetsoid, they do largely demonstrate what the main part of the theme does, so if you want, they are at your disposal here:

btw I set my DPI to 120 instead of the default 160, It delivers a smoother display of text on the Enjoy 7 lcd... it's my only gripe with this tablet, the ppi is very low. Oh well I use it mostly reading anyway

Using N1 and CM6.0. Everything else works finE.
EDIT: Never mind. It took about two minutes to manually change the notification colours. The theme, is awesome.
Got it ported to my HD2. Absolutely Love it!
this is the most beautiful theme I've seen till now. I use elelinux 2.1 (froyo) for htc Hero G2 GSM. I tried to convert it with themeporter. but it hang when it was doing the framework-res thing. can someone make this work on a htc hero G2 GSM?
This is my recovery.log

It might be because the Hero uses mdpi files and this theme uses hdpi files. Theme porter doesn't convert those. ??? I'm not 100% sure...but, that's what I'm thinkin'.
@yoe_cu
I didn't see this in the Nexus forums...most of those guys don't check here often...
I've been trying to find the name of the tasks widget being used in this theme. Anybody know what it's called?

Is there somebody who want to port this theme to a MDPI theme?
I would appreciate it very much.
If someone can explane me who to do it, or where i can find the information,... i will give it a try to port this to MDPI
Hello ablivian,
I want to help and answer your questions. If you use elelinux 2.1 is not possible to convert or adapt the theme for Cyanogen ROM or Enomther to elelinux 2.1. I can recommend you download the android market ADW launcher and then install the theme "Gala S ADW Theme" is very elegant. Link: http://www.androlib.com/android.application.com-haxzamatic-adwgala-jwECE.aspx. To complete you must extract the "framework-res.apk" file "this file is located in the ROM: \ system \ framework \ framework-res.apk. Upload it to mediafire or megaupload I do get the link and I'll update created a zip with the changes made especially for you.
Open the ROM with winrar to extract the file.
Greetings.
To use this theme you have to use 6.0 Cyanogen or Enomther TheOfficial_Nexus1_v2.13.2
@phonephixer
theme ported to HD2.... what's your battery life currently ? I tried Froyo 2.2 some weeks ago and kinda love Android, but was deeply disappointed by the battery drain. WM last 4 times longer !
What is your experience on Cyanogen. I would like to try it... but only if I don't have to charge the phone twice a day
How did you get the HTC weather app on there?
Will it work also on Enomther`s-TheOfficial-N1v2.13.2?

Use theme Porter and it will work. Search somewhere here on xda. (I'd search for you but using phone right now).
Bootloop on Cyanogenmod Nightly builds
Awesome I have it on my CM6. Best theme I have seen so far
Certain Parts of Theme Only
Hi,
I'm totally new to themes as none have really caught my attention and made me want to apply them.
This one did, mostly for the black notification bar and the coloured notification icons.
I'm currently running 2010-10-19 CM6 nightly on my HTC Desire (GSM) and would like to only apply those two areas.
Is this possible? Can someone help me out?
Thanks
is this work on Hero floyo1.01, CM6-based ROM?

To follow this guide you must have:
Any CM7 Phone that is MDPI/LDPI, Rooted, Unlocked Bootloader, Clockworkmod Recovery flashed.

External SD card, Any size (larger than 512mb)
Your Cyanogenmod 7.2 ZIP, where the rom is in.
1.
Download This theme. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1329375
Put the .APK (that is in the .ZIP file on your sd card, and install it with a File manager (download on market, i recommend astro or ES).

2.
Go to your theme chooser after installing the APK and select the theme.
If you like it already you can stop now, but if you want a real feel to it, i recommend installing the layouts and framework animations.
3.
To install the custom layouts, go to this thread.

Follow the video in that thread, and flash the .ZIP you get from it with Clockworkmod recovery. (MAKE A BACKUP FIRST)

And start it. Go to the Performance tab and press Build.prop editor.
Scroll down to ro.build.version.release and edit it to something like 4.0.2 Ice Cream Sandwich
You can also edit ro.modversion to something like Cyanogenmod 9.10 RC2.
9. (Edit: 19Feb)
For widgets, I downloaded all GO Widgets and this theme.

For the search bar, i used this theme.

V1: Original post in the general section, V1.5 Already on the Wildfire S forums.
I think you should use ICS Theme by AChep. It's a lot better than ZDune ICS theme.

Edit:
Changed it! thanks
I created a similar guide for another look; HTC Sense 4.
This is still on the wildfire S forums, but, again, this should work on any CM7 device.

UPDATE_v7.5
Update 7.5 is a progressive update on previous updates.
please note, Version 7.5 ALSO FIXES the BLUETOOTH BUG AND THE CALCULATOR FCversion 7.5 also adds the media files and bootanimation from LG 3.0. looks real close to L7.
it is just a progressive upgrade to the small bug fixes pointed out in after the latest 7.3 update. All the bugs are now gone and the ROM is T-O-T-A-L-L-Y problem free.

UPDATE_v7.3
Update 7.3 is a progressive update on V7.0 and v7.2.
please note, Version 7.2 update is NOT included in version 7.3.version 7.3 is only for the apps, version 7.2 is for the framework and the statusbar.
it basically themes the APPs to LG UI 3.0 (the current icons are difficult to recognize, though they are HD ones, but they are clumsy).
as a solution to this, I themed the Apps to LG UI 3.0.

VERY GOOD THEME, I personally loved it!
It contains ALL of the Jelly design. I liked it! Oh, and I will send you my files, since your theme makes my phone a little bit confusing...
PS: Use Holo Launcher. It's a good, light and ICS-Native like launcher. I use a LG UI 3.0 icon pack... I LOVE IT! <3

Download the new update guys!
Font colour is not visible
In the messaging app and in Power menu, font colour is not visible..
but the theme is great.. Is it possible to do the same with lighter launchers like launcher pro??
yes I know and I will try to fix all of that soon
do what?
Go launcher is laggy and its using more RAM... Launcher pro is old launcher but is lite(uses less RAM) and is snappy..
Our XT615 also has a JB-Theme and theres a much smoother launcher.
ADW Launcher is ultimative smooth and very less lags.
Try it and you will notice the difference
BTW: I could right a updater-script for you thats more comfortable. E.g. including:
- wiping (dalvik-)cache
- deleting the mentioned files
- installing Launcher
