[HELP] Installing busybox on stock v20q - LG Optimus 2x

Hi there.
As the subject of the topic, I install the busybox from the busybox installer and try to run the supercharger script... But it can't run...
Also even if I had installed the last busybox.... Titanium backup tells me I've installed the 1.18.4 (cuz it's in the app...)... Some one hate my same problem? I and if you solved the problem, and how do you do?
Thanks a lot for all of you and for your works, and this is the huge community in wich android users can trust!
Sent from my LG-P990 using Tapatalk 2

Is it phone rooted? As for busybox try some other installers, there are few of them on the market. As for supercharger (and other scripts) init.d support is needed for them to run. Stock doesn`t have it. Maybe you will want to flash this v20Q, there is all ready for experimenting .

Thank you bro! every help will be appreciated, and your's gotta me to find the solution... so ... great man, i'm thanking you by pushing the right button!

CM7 not installing system apps

Hi there. I recently installed the ROM miracle v4 (a CM7 mod) on my galaxy ace, the install went fine and everything seemed to be working perfectly. It's a bare bones ROM, so it doesn't have all the usual system apps I need in it. This is where my problem starts. I downloaded the package of system apps from the mod thread, but when I tried installing them, it says they were not installed. All other apks and apps from Google Play install just fine. Any help is appreciated, I'm stumped.
Miracle v4 thread:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1583871
Please the apps in /system/app
Change app permissions to rw-r--r--
Change ownership to both root (0)
This was sent from a Galaxy Ace. Problem?
I'm sorry I don't understand how to do this exactly could you explain a little more clearly please?
Edit: Nevermind I figured it out

For GB based roms you need tools you can get from playmarket.
ICS/JB roms need special tools to do this afaik.
could you plz tell me ? which special tools ?
Thread moved to Q & A, post in the relevant section next time.

Help me - USB Tethering
Someone help me !!!
I am using Jusada Original ICS Final on Samsung Galaxy Ace. I need USB tethering.
Can someone suggest me a way to added the functionality in this rom ??
plz don't suggest me apps such as PDANET or Clockworkmod tether.
I have searched the entire forum bt couldn't find a permanent solution. Any help is highly appreciated.
simple solution is just move back to stock rom......there are no....other options available....i tried many roms...but none of them work...its better to have stock rom and update kernel for memory hack/battery extender...
Try the rom on the link on the previous page. USB tethering works. I'm sure it can make your breakfast too but I haven't found that option in the settings!

And i will give a try to Adrenaline rom mentioned above.

1) Is there a way to add USB Tethering as a update/patch which can be flashed using recovery ?
2) Hw to remove scripts added to the rom ?
3) Hw to move/remove system apps in Stocklite 7.1 ?
Plz help with answers or links. And do warn me if i am posting these ques in a wrong forum.

1) I don't think it's as simple as that. If it was easy all roms would have working usb tethering.
2) search for the script. They usually have their own threads. If you can find it and find a flashable zip file for the script then unzip it and see where the changes are, for example in init.d folder(/system/etc/init.d). Then you can delete those files from your phone and reboot. If you are unsure about this, tell me the script you mean and I will look it up for you. Make a backup first!
3. As the name suggests, stock lite is built to have as few system apps as possible. Make a backup first because some system apps you think are bloatware might actually be vital. If you mess up your phone by deleting important apps then just restore your last good backup in recovery.
So to remove system apps, use titanium backup or similar app manager to remove it, if you don't have titanium then delete them from /system/app folder on your phone. If you want to be safe then freeze the app first to see if it makes any difference to your phones operation. If the ROM is odexed you will need to delete it's corresponding odex file in the same folder.
If you want to add system apps then paste into this folder (deodex ROM only) and change permissions to (rw-r--r--).
To move system apps (I assume you mean to a user app?) depends on a few things. If you have a good app manager like titanium backup use that. If the app is on the play store then remove it from system and reinstall from the play store and it will be a user app. If not then move it from /system/app to /data/app (depending on your preferred method of getting around the limited internal space on the ace, like link2sd, cronmod, etc. your user apps could be somewhere else) and ensure the permissions stay the same. (rw-r--r--)
I hope this helps and I'm sure that if this answer to your questions can be improved or corrected, someone will do that!
Best of luck!

Xposed for our Razr I

Tungstwenty is in develogment to build a X86 Version of Xposed and i had tested it.
Unfortunately, there is problems and Tungstwenty canĀ“t solve the problem.
The good news:
I know what the problem is - your x86 ROM includes JIT support in the Dalvik VM, and xposed was compiled without JIT support as it's what the AOSP sources use for x86 specifically.
That's the reason for the crash.
The bad news:
I have no idea how to get the AOSP code to compile the dalvik code with JIT support on x86. It fails with the 4.1.2 sources, and also 4.2.1.
On the other hand, with the latest 4.2.2 it appears to compile properly.
I'll give it another shot and try compiling once I grab the android-4.1.2_r2 branch, on which your ROM might be based and with luck might have working JIT support on x86...
EDIT: No luck, android-4.1.2_r2 doesn't compile either
Either the reported version is wrong or the code used by the XT890 is different from AOSP

De nada. i looked at the xblast tools too (quite impressive). there are a lot of modules around for xposed (don't understand how it works, but seems to be a very
sophiticated method).

Xposed 2.4 crashes my phone, could only revert via /data/data/de.robv.android.xposed.installer/conf/disabled
No bootloop but just doesn't start up (before bootanimation)
If not everyone knows how to do it, here is a quick how to:
connect your phone
adb shell
su
mkdir /data/data/de.robv.android.xposed.installer/conf/disabled
now it should boot up again

No problems here with latest xposed. But I've only do a soft reboot
Do you mean 4.2-beta3?
With official 2.4 (installed via installer) you will get into bootloop for sure.

[Q] Can't reboot after xposed framework installation!

Hello dudes, I currently use the MIUI V4 ICS 3.22 rom on my galaxy mini. Yesterday I have installed an app called greenify. I wanted to use the hole features of the app so I have installed the Xposed Framework. But after the restart my device is stopping rebooting at the bootanimation. With the deactivation zip on my sd card I could uninstall the framework. How can I bring the framework to work?
Thanks in advance!

Dude!
Should have read the installation instructions beforehand
The Xposed framework is not compatible with miui
Now the only way out, according to me, is by restoring the file system through a nandroid backup.
I'm sorry but no one can help you in any other way.
Not being rude but dude read the whole post before installing anything in your phone.
Other than that I should however tell you that greenery without xposed also works great. Believe me I have used it and still use it.

before you re-flash the whole rom, check if there's an uninstall recovery zip (it should be on your sd)
@TARUN SIDHARTH is "greenery" a different app or you simply use greenify without xposed?!? is it possible to greenify system apps (with a donate version of course)?

Greenery is a standalone app which works great and does exactly what it offers. The xposed framework just empowers it a bit more and makes it a bit more efficient. But even then Its not necessary that you have to install xposed framework for it to work its magic.
And yes to answer your other question you can greenify system apps with it although that's only available in the donate version.
He sure however that you are careful doing that since greenifying the wrong stood can make your system unstable or cause other problems that may interfere in is optimum functioning.

Oh yeah umm.. Most of the startup managers for Android are full of crap... The play store ones atleast coz the Google developers policy doesn't allow such apps which actually work really well in this context... Still don't know how they decide that though. Well whatever if you had xposed then it could have been possible. But even then install gsam battery monitor and note the apps which consume the most system resources. Greenify them if you wish to and then they'll open/consume system resources only when they are active ie you are using them in real time.
That's all I guess

Problem with WA Tweaker (OP6)

Hi , I'm new on this forum so I hope i'm on the right section, but i have some issues with my One Plus 6 and the app WA Tweaker, first at all, everything was working like a charm with Magisk, Xposed and WA Tweaker installed (any tweak or nearly any tweak was working), then I had to do some system updates for the OP6, I did it but after that and resinstalling Magisk (with the right versionregarding to the new system version) some tweaks weren't working anymore (like the anti-revoke) and now the sending 100% photo quality tweak won't work anymore as well,
So i'd like to have some help from you, what should I do, I already tried to uninstall and reinstall the app but it still doesnt work, I really would need good advices from you, Hope you guys will be able to help me, or if someone has already created the same thread just give to me the link then, thx a bunch
