Which kernel is better for minicm7 2.2.0.I think the rom have better xperience on alfs for minicm than naa11.
For some repiles thanks.
No, it runs only on nAa kernel.
I know but which kernel is better for this rom?
Hmm it was stated on the thread. nAa always the rom together with the kernel, that rom was made for nAa kernel so I advice using nAa. If you feel AlfCM7 is better then you can use it, it depends how you feel so its a personal choice actually

hi i'm using gingercruzt 8.4 its an awesome rom
i just wonder if any of the kernels floating around is compatible with this rom
thanks in advance
You will have to try some kernels like alfs or linuxDX, NAa kernel. The linuxDX and alfs are made for the gingerDX ROM but may work ok on gingercruzt
Hope you got some insight

Which is the most stable customized ROM for my Xperia X8 , preferably of a later version than Froyo (V2.3 or later). Cyanogenmod 7.1 for Xperia X8 has troubles with connectivity (wifi/3G) and I therefore avoid it.

if you're looking for a GB rom, miniCM is probably the stablest, and definitely the least prone to battery drain.
I would go with GingerDX v021 plus the Alfs kernel v06 its a killing combination

Check the date of manufacturing first, before unlocking your boothloader, otherwise your phone may get screw, and it is expensive cost!

I flashed my phone 2 times already. I'm pretty sure I unlocked my BL before. But the funny thing was I didn't check before if it was safe for me.
Lucky me is lucky. =) Haha..
But wait guys, look at this post, he says he has alfs V8 + minicm7 2.2.0:

I thought the ardeno lib update is built in minicm7 2.2.0? So you have to flash it if you are using alfs instead of nAa?

not really bro, i use alfs 09c cm7 no fps with minicm7.2.2.1 and give awesome performance.
Hello guys,
the questions that today I'll want to ask you is the same as the title:
what do you suggest between the miniCM7, the miniCM9 and the miniCM10?
(with respectively nAa kernel, nAa ICS kernel and nAa JB kernel)
What is the best in terms of perfomances/features?
Thank you.
Performance wise MINICM7.
Looks wise MINICM9 and MINICM10.

^^^this.
but then it really boils down to personal preference. try minicm10 though instead of 9. i don't think you'll be disappointed.

Basicly we have fully working cm7/9/10.
Cheers,
Mistev
I actually have the miniCM9.
So if i want performance i'll have to get the miniCM7,
Thank you guys, I'll try it!
Another question: are the performances about the same between the miniCM9 and miniCM10?
MiniCM10 is as fast as MiniCM7 , for me.
Sent from my E15i using xda app-developers app
cm7=performance
cm9=looks
cm10=more ram
@nag xperia
I agree with you but CM10 kernels don't actually come with more RAM (correct me if I'm wrong). ponanovn said they re-allocated some RAM to camera and PMEM for more stability and improved performance.
I read this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1340861
and I began to wonder which kernel is recommended for this rom.
should i choose wlan or cm7 kernel version?
Sorry for my bad english.
Greetings from Uruguay.

alfs-8a or
alfs-9c for cm7.....
the taste is yours
Use Alfs8-GDX. Probably the best Alfs kernel for GDX.
