I'm going to replace my N7 will my app store, Google wallet, and free content be available on my new device
Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk 2
As long as you use the same Google account all of your information and previously purchased apps should be free to install on your new tablet.
This also works with a tablet and a phone - apps bought on one become available on the other.

I know the apps will be available but I'm more concerned about the 25.00 credit and my 10.00 Google wallet balance

Youll get an extra 10.00 wallet balance but your google play balance should stay the same
Hi All
this is my 1st post on XDA and I really really want to thank you all for the great help. I would like to ask if there is a way to use Amzon prime videos outside US using the same old app world wide kindle or any other solution. Any help is much appreciated
As I know, you can't. Cause it checks your location by IP as I understand...

It remains to be seen if Amazon will offer streaming video to prime subscribers outside the US. I believe this decision will materially impact the success of this device in overseas markets.
Is there still no PPTP VPN support on the Kindle then?

I bought the kf hd at best buy on Friday and have a us amazon prime account. Everything was working great the lending library. Prime videos and app store. I just flew to ecuador and now the only usable app in my kf hd is the browser. I can't access app store, can't access movies, or anything related.
Now I have to side load all the new apps that I want to install
If you are going to use your Kindle fire outside the US I don't recommend you to buy it

Well can you still watch instant videos with the new root method?

Really? Has no one testes this out yet?
Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk 2
i'd really like to know the answer to this before I go out and pick one up. Thanks for your help.
Just launched a movie from my Amazon library and works fine. Also tested a few trailors, and they work fine also. I have done:
1) Rooted
2) Installed Google Play
3) Removed my ads (unofficially)
Good to know. I don't have prime so I couldn't test out the "free" videos. I was waiting for my mini hdmi cable to arrive before I tested the premium videos with my $5 credit.
Cool thanks

Hello, if you haven't heard, Amazon finally came out with a tablet version of their store app. Unfortunately, nexus 7 is the only compatible device right now.
Could someone throw up the apk on drop box so others, such as those of us with the nexus 10, could download?

I'm almost positive this is not the tablet version. Can someone upload that? It would make my day.

Come on guys, usually you are awesome at hooking people up. It would take less than one minute to do a backup, upload, and post the link.

Rather than browbeating everyone here, why don't you spend two seconds on Google and find a link.
Like this story... TOP RESULT ON SEARCH... link is at the bottom of the article.

Trust me, I have searched for almost an hour. Everyone, including android police where I originally found out about this app, just links to the play store, where it says not compatible. Also, I don't want to download from some sketchy website that will likely include some malware along with my desired apk.
I'm sorry if it came across as rude, it wasn't my intention. I was just surprised that no one had posted it yet.

Thank you, but unfortunately this is the Amazon app store, not the amazon mobile store tablet version. Thanks again for reaching out though!

You're right...
I've been looking and it isn't around anywhere.
I can't even download it from Play or Amazon because it seems to be released only to US residents.
Here's the tablet version pulled from my Nexus 7

That blows.....
I just bought my wife a P&S camera on a great sale through the app.. Very easy and efficient.
Old app still installed and working well so its not tantrum worthy just yet here. They make it so easy to spend huh...

Seems the old app is working fine now, the login problem has been fixed but would still like the tablet versions the us have.
Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk 2
Yeah, any news on the UK version?
Thank you so much for that link, It works great. Amazon needs to clean the sand out and let us download this app from the play store.

When going the gym, lugging my Note 2 around isnt the most practical.
Anyone aware of any MP3 player I can sync and play music from?
Wifi is available in the gym, so that is all good.
Preferably relatively low cost too (if possible) and the smaller the better.
Thanks.

Thought of bluetooth headphones? Is it having the note on your body you don't like, or carrying it around?

Samsung makes a player called the Pebble. Very small and without a screen, but you can sync music from your phone.

Thanks for the replies.
The S Pebble sounda like it could do the trick. Would mean syncing before I go but a wifi / mp3 player is more expensive.
Cheers

Samsung Muse

Well ive researched the Muse and isn't readily available in the uk.
Could anyone recommend a cheap Android Phone? Even second hand? Preferably under £50.
I was planning to use my old Sensation, but that is water damage d beyond repair (well, for less than £50 anyway).

Motoactv is the way I went. You can find the 8gbs for about $120 on amazon. I use mine as a mp3 player with my jay bird blubud X's. If it's for the gym the battery should last you for roughly 3+ hours.
If you're into modding you can root the motoactv and turn it into a mini tablet.
I'm sure you can use something like Kies or Google play as a work around as well. I still use my Nexus One and other Google phones as mp3 players when in a pinch as well.
