I have an i9000m which I had flashed to Froyo JPO with Odin, then installed Darky's ROM v 4.0. I had been using this for a while with no problem but a couple days ago it shut itself off for apparently no reason and when i tried to turn it on it would just get to the Galaxy S startup screen and then continuously restart and never fully boot. I could still get into download mode so I flashed back to the stock eclair JH2 firmware, but when I tried to turn the phone on, it would go through the normal boot sequence, but then i would be stuck at a black screen, with the bottom two buttons lighting up. I played around with flashing various different firmware versions, but it didnt help. After searching the forums it looks like it might be a problem with the internal SD card, but I'd like some other opinions/advice. Could anybody help me get my phone functioning again?
I'm having the exact same problem since today. It started out of nowhere; one moment the phone is working fine, the next its rebooting and it gets stuck...
Anyone got a solution besides a factory reset?
I just downloaded 5.3 after having the same sort of boot issues with 5.2
Odin one click stock ROM
Master Reset
Root
Clockwork Flash
The phone hangs on boot screen. With 5.2 i let it set there for over an hour with nothing happening. I even flashed it a few times. I then removed the battery and powered the phone back on and it booted into the phone but after about 10 sec it would go back to the boot screen and hang. I am having the same issues with 5.3, but admittedly it has only been out for 15 min but it looks to be the same issue.
Please help. I have heard nothing but good things about your ROMs and I am dying to try them.
situation: was playing on galaxy note when battery died,
after battery died i tried to charge my phone and the batterylogo displayed but nothing happened.
so i tried to start up the phone and it got stuck at the bootscreen and after 10-15 seconds the screen dies and shows the bootscreen again,
and it goes on like that.
well then i tried flashing other roms to it and didn't succeed so now when i start up phone i get the "phone-----(!)--------computer" screen.
i still can go into download mode but no recovery mode.
so i tried flashing stock GB roms/ ICS roms but odin always get stuck at "zImage"
so can anyone help me with this issue?
the strange thing is i was running on official ICS(4.0.3) when this happened and never flashed my phone before that
I think you are affected with emmc bug

Hmm I am not sure whether it was the emmc problem
Wait for the others reply
Try all the sources you have and if nothing works, try this

Definitely works but you will be losing 3gb internal memory

Just flash gb rom in PC ODIN only and after automatically reboot if still stuck just go to recovery and wipe data and cache.
If you stuck in pc odin then it is a brick bug.
Try flashing notecore or speedmod kernel see if it wnet thru. If it does then try to see if you can access the recovery and wipe cache - dalvik or even data. If not try flashing again GB rom (preferred KJ11 by dr ketan) then update to ICS or you can try again ICS then root using safe kernel.
well first i tried to install stock GB rom open europe version, then tried stock ICS but nothing helped
So it might be emmc brick bug
Follow the guide i said in my previous post
You will surely get your phone back to work but it costs you 3gb of internal memory
But dont worry, after you get your phone working, clear your binary count
Then go to samsung service center and they will replace your motherboard under warrenty
I got the same problem in the past and got it solved in the same way
Hope it works for you too

Hi there,
I had similar problem.. later on i flashed stock ics 4.0.3 rom but with PIT file . In other words i repartitioned my galaxy note and that solved the problem.
hi, this is my first post here. the thing is that after trying to flash new firmware for bell (3.23.666.1) the phone would just boot up into the black htc logo screen with 4 triangles on the sides, i worried so i flashed the last firmware i had (1.29.666.17) which helped and the phone booted up normaly, but then the touch screen was not working, it works on cwm touch but not after it boots up, at the moment i have my phone with stock recovery, stock rom, and the bootloader is relocked, and it has s-on, i was just wondering if anyone can help me.
Hello everyone , I hope you can help
some time a go I installed the rom cm12.1 Neo's Homebuilds .
Everything was fine but one day accidentally flash the kernel official CM12 ROM and since then the phone is stuck in constant reboots.
I tried to flash stock rom with flashtool but the phone works well about 20 minutes and then restarted . Kernel will be a problem ? Yesterday leave the phone on the desk and inadvertently began to restart all the time to such an extent that much warmed and the battery has discharged completely. Now the battery is malfunctioning. I have the 4.14V output .
I bought a new original battery and again I flashed with a jelly bean rom stock LT25i_9.2.A.2.5_1268-7821_R1J.ftf but the phone after about 20 minutes even restarts.
Any suggestions? T_T
do i have to flash only the stock kernel to stop the bootloop? help me please. t-t
