Hey guys heres my first diamond app im going to make a few games that use the tilt sensor i have a few weeks free soon so keep all them ideas coming
it just simulates a bunch of differently sized balls but its cool (try it in a car with it being held flat) lol

i reposted this because the original had a bad download link sorry guys
also if you give me any ideas for small games / apps then i will try to make them as i have some free time soon
hello?
no one wants to try it
if you have can you tell me what you thought please
i also have made a magic 8 ball application using the g-sensor too
link:
http://rapidshare.com/files/133799977/Magic_8_Ball_0.1_alpha__bug_free_just_not_finished_.zip
im also working on
im also working on a game kinda like flow but that uses g-sensor for controls and stuff should be out in a week or so
Keep it up. We need all the gsensor apps we can get. I like your ball car screensaver idea.
Surur
Just tried it... would be fun if the Balls would react to one another as well as only to the "walls".
But as a "Demonstration" of the G-Sensor it's pretty good.
i will be adding collision to all the balls soon and some other things im also making a game similer to flow that uses the g-senser and i also made an 8ball app
all of this looks promissing.
A game like flow would really be cool!!!!
How about Wii Fit game that balance the ball and get the balls in the hole.
a wii fit balence game might work
i might give that a go to sometime
funny stuff, both.

now that's a good idea!!
or a PSP-Patapon type game!
I think we just need some clever XDA-developer-pro to make a button-mapper so you can replace any left/right - up/down movement of the d-pad with the g-sensor - now that'd be good
What has no one made use of this yet? http://www.mobiletechaddicts.com/2008/08/20/multi-touch-on-the-htc-diamondtouch-pro/ . Disable the stupid scroll wheel and make it so we can do stuff with both fingers.
wtf :| so cool
someone has to made a ****ing very nice program with this capabilities
it would be cool, if someone make it work for zoom, kinda like the Iphone, slide both fingers apart from each other and it zooms in, slide them in, and it zoom out, it would be great.
keep bumping til someone does somethin cool
That would be very cool!!!!
But, really. Zooming is already possible by turning your finger clockwise or counterclockwise. And also you can tap on the screen.
Maybe it would be cool with this feature but not for scrolling as I see it. So what else do apple use for it?
Also I heard that iPhone woulde have better games that use the sensor. Does it really, and what games are they?

My guess is, that's patanded by apple, which is why HTC couldn't do it themselves.
What I would love is flicking to scroll ON the left or right side under the screen... Capacitive keys would be much better at that then the touchscreen is.

patented by apple?? no, not with multitouch, they cant do that??
If that's true then that means HTC could have patented TOUCHSCREENS back in 2001 if they wanted to..
that and what about microsoft surface?
that uses multitouch.
and on election day i saw them using a touch screen that has multitouch.
Does anyone even know where to get that app from? (The one in the Video)

This link is just above the video...
It looks to me that only the button panel below the screen has a capacitive sense ability, which makes it multitouch. I'd be delighted to learn that they added a capacicive sense layer on top of the normal, resistive, touchscreen, but doubt they'd do such a thing for no profitable reason.
capacitve D-Pad
What I think would be awesome - make the capacitive screen the D-pad.
right now - using right and left on the D-pad is terrible. I always hit the other shortcut keys. Why not have the capacitive screen control it...
I'd work on it - but it's WAY over my head...
I would really like to see it act like the Instinct buttons. So that you dont have to actually press the buttons just touch the surface.
gscroll2...
Anyone know if there is such a thing? And if there is not, maybe a few people would be interested in making one? I think that would be pretty fun to have on the homescreen for a lil instant gaming action!
Guess not.....
i think its a great idea havent heard of one yet though would anyone be interested in making one
I like the idea too. But how would that work? So when ever the screen was locked you could rotate the cube peices but when a call came in or you unlocked the screen it would fade into the background and hold its position untill the screen was locked again...
that IS a good idea...
Pardon me for blabbering, I don't wanna give up yet. But is there a chance you could draw on HD7?
I'm an Architect and I usually unsheath my Xperia X1 stylus and hit notepad and before you know it I'm drawing room dimensions to take down notes for length width and height. (usuall construction stuff).
And oh, forgive me for posting this but I didn't start a thread like this when I was with my:
1. HTC Prophet to
2. HTC Alpine to
3. XDA Zinc to
4. SE Xperia X1 till
now. >D
Pencilio is an awesome sketch app in the marketplace.
As for stylus, I imagine a capacitive one would work, but I always hear stories of spottiness. Pencilio works surprisingly well with your finger though.
Nice! As long as I can draw squares and arrowheads inside it to take note of dimensions, I don't even need the drawn line to be perfectly straight.
It's really nice to when someone knows how to do something and shares it here at xda-devs.
Thanks!

Here's one of the more popular capacitive styli: http://www.amazon.com/BoxWave-Capac...I76S/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1296244909&sr=8-1
Using that in any drawing app, such as jim says, should be very similar to your previous experiences.
Yep, XDA is a fantastic place
looking to see if someone could come up with a way of porting the two sided keyboard from the samsung slate 7 onto our tab/ making it into an app.
if any of you dont know what i mean, im talking about the built in ability that windows NT offers to have two halves of a whole keyboard on either side of the tablet when used in landscape mode, so you dont have to stretch your thumbs all the way to the centre when using it..
if this is possible it would be great to see as i think alot of people would like to try it...
thanks for listening everyone!

Please try Swiftkey tablet that might work for you.
Swype Beta also has a split-keyboard mode, in both portrait and landscape.
Cheers, will try them both now.
Sent from my GT-p6810 using xda app-developers app
You might want to try floatnsplit keyboard. You can customize everything.
