Hi there,
Did a search and browsed through the forum but did not find a post pertaining to my question, so started a new thread.
I am currently running liquidsmooth v1 for my SGN, and I whenever I tried to set lockscreen wallpaper through gallery or other programs such as quickpic, I get the text "wallpaper did not set (is your SD mounted?)". I can set regular wallpaper just fine, and I tried putting the picture in internal, external, different kinds of pics, etc. none of them seem to work.
Anyone have a solution?
Thanks in advance.
Same problem on my note, it doesn't even show a text...

Hello,
I have a couple of questions. I flashed the FF 2.0.5 successfully and love it. Silky smoove and just very very nice. Thanks to all who put that together because it was just what I was looking for.

My questions are how can I get the dialer to be the one that is show in the FF thread SS and how do I make the lock screen wallpaper be independent of the normal wallpaper?
The dialer I know nothing about but would love to learn. The lockscreen I have tried several things. I have gone through settings and it just keeps showing the normal wallpaper even though I have set the lock screen wallpaper with a different pic. I have gone into my gallery and set a different picture with the same results.
If anyone has any ideas I am all ears. those two features are in the OP write up but didnt make it into my flash for some reason.
Thanks for any and all help.
Dialers are here:

DL the one you want and flash with clockwork,
Thank you for the help. Anyone have any idea on the lock screen issue?
I've gone through a few different ROM's that had the ability to change the Lockscreen and Wallpaper seperately. But never been able to get it to actually work.
I know this question has been asked already, but the suggested locations given for Android 2.x don't appear to be the same in Honeycomb.
I applied the wallpaper directly from within my browser (if I recall) and don't have it stored locally in the Pictures or Downloads directories, so I was hoping somebody would know where android caches it. I've had a look through the file system but I couldn't see anything that stood out.
I also tried an app called "Wallpaper set and save", which I thought was going to come through, but the result looked horrid - I suppose that's something to do with using it on HC.
I'm using a stock UK xoom (unrooted).
Any suggestions welcome.
Same here. Looking for answer, please.

The way that honeycomb applies wallpapers is really wacky. If you have 3.1 you will see guides when you crop using the wallpaper tool. If you do not have 3.1, download one of the templates available in the forums and you will see what is "useable".
problem is that HC stock wallpapers are stored inside in Launcher2.apk.
I've just found the way how to set wallpaper in the best quality, resolution and without distortion/blur
If u use this method u not loose any part of your picture cos there is no crop it just fit the whole picture on full screen
All u need is this app MultiPicture Live Wallpaper and its free
So how to ?
-long press on homescreen
-than go to Wallpaper->Live Wallpaper and select MultiPicture Live Wallpaper
-select Setting and set your folder with your wallpapers
Done
This app actually changing the wallpapers in particular time but u can also sett it to use only one picture if u don't like changing
There is a lot more settings what u can play with if u like
So enjoy
Since this was brought up, where does the 2.x Android versions store the current wallpaper?
Anyone tried microbes live wallpaper on the note, it's not working with me, tried on several roms !
I encounter the exact same problem!
My theme would fit the Microbes wallpaper so perfectly that i just made an account to reply on this thread T_T...
It's such an awesome wallpaper but such a pity it doesn't work.
Me myself also tried to install different APK's.. actually went through alot of stress because of the wallpaper that was already installed. I force installed it by Clockworkmode recovery and it got installed.
Problem? When you select the microbes live wallpaper, the wallpaper application crashes. Anyone know how to fix this?
Apparently this problem is just for the galaxy note.
Attached the wallpaper! If someone would take a look to it.. you would save our asses XD THANKS!
I didn't try your version, but this one here and it works on my Note:

Thought the thread referred to another live wallpaper that I like; it's got little creepy crawly like thing that's seen through microscope. And I can change the settings for color, etc. Can't recall it's name though!
Edited to add: Just found it! It's swampwater life!
Hello everyone, I have recently upgraded my HTC one to the latest version of android and sense,
Today while i was trying to change my wallpaper, after I go to gallery to choose the photo, after pressing Set as, it gives me options, but the weird thing is that it gave me exactly two options for Wallpaper where one of them is set a square wallpaper which looks like ICS android and the other one the normal size of screen for cropping the picture, has anyone has the same issue or know what the difference is?

Actually, via: settings > display > wallpaper (think those are the names in english) there are also two options called "wallpaper", both with different wallpapers in it.
The way you describe (set as in gallery) I found it is probably because we now have two gallery apps (the standard one and the Google+ one)... but I'm not totally sure about that...

ty dude, but i think it is not the case, because it is looking for the wallpaper in the same folder in the gallery, the only difference is in the crop resolution of the picture and I tried both and couldn't find any differences.
I've installed a lot of icon packs, and it seems like most of them come with their own assortment of live wallpapers. Now I've removed a few, but the option of changing a wallpaper for that icon pack still remains. Does anyone know how I can remove these? Specifically the minimal as that is listed twice for some reason.
The phone is rooted running viper Rom 6.2.1.
I'll attach a photo of it in a moment.
Thank you.
