Anyone have issues with the dialer on AOKP milestone4? Whenever I try to call my voicemail and enter my password in quickly, the voicemail system doesn't recognize my inputs. Also, I've had the touch tones just cut out completely one time during a voicemail call. I had to end the call and redial.
Change the phone dialer with a new one...

Or try a reflash?
Try exdialer.

So since moving to Froyo with both OTA builds I am happy to use Voice Dialer via my headset...
However I would be happier if I didn't get an error about Voice Dialer having to close unexpectedly.
Anybody else getting this issue?

I hate to bump this, but this still happens.
To add to this issue, typically I can use my headset (now I use a BlueAnt T1) and press the MFB to start the process and can actually dial out, but can only do it once. Everytime after that, Voice Dialer FCs.
Am I missing something?
after selecting a contact and tapping dial, sometimes my phone freezes (black screen) for 5s then it starts dialing
other times when i dial people, or receive calls, people can't hear me for the first ~5s of the call
i am using a recent version of CM7 nightly (i had this on previous cyan's too)
btw i'm using the stock 2.3 dialer
ideas?

Are you sure that you entered your google voice number properly in the forwarding options? I had trouble for the first few hours, but called T-mobile and they checked the forwarding settings... now it works properly.
In the call log, you will see only a missed call. The message itself will only show up in your gmail list, and the browser version of google voice... I think.? There is also a stand-alone .apk app for gVoice, available in the play store]

I am sure ebbed it right as it works just fine for calls. But in a 4.1 I believe they added the option to have your vm show up in the call log to listen to only. This worked fine on my n4. And the option is selected in the stand alone app.

I'm having some strange issues with GV on my Z1S. Just switched to T-Mobile last week and immediately made GV my voicemail. I removed my number from the website and re-added it, went through the prompts, and got the forwarding working. Now, I have 2 strange issues:
1. All the time the phantom voicemail icon will appear on my phone. I force quit "phone" (the app) and it goes away, but it'll show up sometime tomorrow or when I reboot my phone or something.
2. The GV voicemail seems to work intermittently (may have some effect on #1). Meaning, someone will call me and tell me they left a message, but the message is no where to be found. My theory is the forwarding didn't kick in, the message went to T-Mobile voicemail, and the phantom icon appeared. However, I can't yet confirm that.
Anyone dealing with either of these issues?
Is there a way to check my T-Mo voicemail after I've set everything up with google voice?
Thanks.
Same issues am having. For number 1 i am going to try and reset my number from the website.
For number 2 I just disabled the option to see vm in the call log.
The Phantom vm is tmobile picking up and then GV taking over so essentially a vm on each. It's annoying

It seems my phone is possessed. It randomly dials numbers. Is there a way to add a mod so that when a number is being dialed there is a confirmation screen if it can be dialed? Like some dialer apps have, example Rocket Dial.
even i am seeing this... :'(
There is an option to prevent pocket dials under display menu. May be it can help you.
I do have this problem. Seems like a software issue

I used an appl like RocketDial which gives the option of a call confirmation screen, but prefer the MIUI dialler Maybe we could pester the devs to make it a feature request..
Hello I have my nexus 6 with sprint and intigrated/ported my number to Google voice. I am trying to use hangouts as my stand alone dialer but the problem is when I get calls both the native phone rings and hangouts at the same time. And prevents me from accepting a call. If I use hangouts the stock dialer will still be ringing in the background and if I answer with stock dialer well I won't be using hangouts. I turned off notifications for phone and that works randomly. I went to google voice and disabled forward to phones. I tried to disable stock dialer but that did nothing. When i disabled the other phone related apk's hangouts would jist glitch out or not connect. Side note when hide notifications is working the stick phone doesn't ring or interfere with hangouts but I still see a notification that I missed a call even though o answered with hangouts. So yea anyone else with this issue or know a fix?
