Since it took quite a bit of my time. This is for any other poor soul out there using the Zeemote on their device to play Samurai II: Vengeance with Bluez IME. Here's what I used in the key map settings of Bluez IME:
Button A = DPAD_CENTER # Light Attack
Button B = BUTTON_Z # Heavy Attack
Button C = BUTTON_Y # Roll
Button D = BUTTON_SELECT # Karma Menu
The game is greatly enhanced by a controller.
Enjoy!
Thanks!!!

Bless you! I just got a new Moga controller and was in the middle of fumbling through this the hard way when I decided to do a search and see if anyone HAPPENED to have done this also. I had button_z and y done, but I would have never came up with dpad_center for the light attack!
TY sir.

Hello !
I've turn my HTC P4350 on HTC Touch with Touch-It rom.
But my sliding-keyboard is in AZERTY, not QWERTY like it's mapping on the ROM.
How can I change this ?
Thanks
I can help you fix this with my keymapping tool, but I'm going to need to sit with you so you can help me figure out the key codes for your device.
On your keyboard -> On mine
Q ->> A
W ->> Z
That's all ! All keys works fine
Yeah, but I still need to sit with you and get the keycodes for those 2 letters. I tried making a keymapping for the Herald by just "guessing" the keycodes assuming they would be the same, and unfortunately they weren't.
So let's get you fixed. First, I need you to open up an SMS or somewhere you can type and I need you to go through your whole keyboard and make sure that the only differences are Q, A, W, Z.
So go through all the keys, including all possible combinations of SHIFT or ALT & each key to make sure those are the only two that need to be fixed.
Next, I need you to install duprade's CAB
Once it's installed, cancel out of the settings screen... then use your file explorer and go to Program Files\AEKMap
Run a program in there called AEKscan or something like that. When it opens up, you need to give me a few keycodes. The way it works is when you hit a letter on your keyboard, it's going to give you a number on the screen... like KEY 0214 or something along those lines.
Make sure to give me the lower case and upper case of each letter that needs to be changed.
"a" = key xxxx
"A" = key xxxx
"z" = key xxxx
"Z" = key xxxx
"w" = key xxxx
"W" = key xxxx
"q" = key xxxx
"Q" = key xxxx
Then post the results and I'll make you a keymap file to fix your keyboard.
Same problem
Hello,
I've got the same problem so I took the liberty to help you with this. I did what you asked and here are the results.
On my keyboard = on the rom
a = q
z = w
function a (@) = (
function z (!) = )
function e (?) = =
function o (() = !
function p ()) = ?
function l (=) = @
"a" = key 0051
"A" = key 0151 + Shift
"q" = key 0041
"Q" = key 0141 + Shift
"z" = key 0057
"Z" = key 0157 + Shift
"w" = key 005A
"W" = key 015A + Shift
"Shift" = key 01FF + Shift

QUOI!? J'en ai rien compris la! haha
Ok, well, What does all this mean?? I'm not entirely sure what this means... so please tell me what key should be what symbol... bc I'm confused by what you posted.
It seems you posted what the keys are and what they should be and I have no idea what is what? I can't find any pictures online of an azerty herald keyboard, so I can't figure it out.... I'm posting what i've accomplished so far, which should fix your letters so test it out and see ... but I'm still confused by your symbols.
lol sorry for being so chaotic in my post ^^
lol, I'm sorry for being so messy in my post...
I tried you zip file and it fixed the problem. In fact, I figured out that when I used the HTC herald.aek file (the file that is to be found in the "duprade's WING Keyboard FIX (AEKMap)" file) it solved part of my problem (symbols @, !, ?, ), (, and = were messed up but the file fixed it)
So the only problem left was that "a" key was in fact the "q" key and "z" key was in fact the "w" key, problem that you solved with the file you posted .
So I made a mix of both files and my keyboard is now perfectly AZERTY, with all the symbols
THANK YOU SO MUCH
Ps: i put the mixed file in attach
Bien Fait!
Well, I will include this file in the AEK installation in case people have this problem in the future.
Someone tried to use some of the special hardware keyboardbuttons in the lower left corner of the keyboard to copy / paste ?
Can one of the keys used as a STRG key in combination with C and V when entering text ?
Greets !
bump
Im interested in this as well, anyone have any ideas?
this is windows, use ctrl+c and ctrl+v
you can set the key to open a context menu, then choose cut/copy/paste

That is the point, how do we get a "ctrl"-key assigned? The "strg"-key fotoingo mentioned is the German "ctrl"-key. Any suggestions?
i dont think CTRL + C works?

on the onscreen qwerty works perfect.
Yes, CTRL+C/V/X works with hardware keyboard. All you need is a software to map some of the key on your HW keyboard to CTRL function. I would recommend X1BC (use search on this forum)
Is it possible to set the Fn key + C / V / X to copy / paste / cut?
with AE Button plus you can set it up. eg you can map that weird au button so that single click = cut, double click = copy, and triple click = paste. Lots of other ways you can do it too, using other keys on the hard keyboard.

That's exactly how I use it, works great!
Also would the original poster care to take this solution and edit his first post with it. It's harder for others to scroll than to edit your first post.
Thanks
X1BC will help you, i tested it and worked fine!
Software url:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=468007&highlight=X1BC
Step:
1. Install X1BC
2. Change the registry:
"LongKeyTimeout" = 2000
"TabCtrlMode" = 2
3. Put X1BC.lnk into the startup folder, restart your X1
Tab + A (Select All)
Tab + Z (Undo)
Tab + X (Cut)
Tab + C (Copy)
Tab + V (Paste)
-------------------------
HKCU\SOFTWARE\JKing\X1BC\TabCtrlMode
Here are the possible choices:
0 - Do not use as ctrl
1 - Short press mode (short press to enable ctrl then press a letter; long press sends tab chr)
2 - Long press mode (press letter while holding ctrl; short press sends tab chr)
Is'nt it easier to use the natural keyboard and use <shift> & the cursor keys to select your text that you want to cut/copy, then use the on-screen keyboard to select <ctrl> & c (copy), x (cut) or p (paste)?
I installed the ATW keyboard fix that's supposed to increase the hardware keyboard lag on my tilt. I've always had the keyboard fix that I found in the sticky in the kaiser software thread, but it didn't work as well as it had with the other ROMs I've used. so I uninstalled it and tried the ATW fix. but now the symbols are all mixed up. the / and ! and such are not in their rightful places, but rather they are assigned to the keys they are assigned to on an actual PC. it's like this:
! = fn + 1
@ = fn + 2
# = fn + 3
$ = fn +4
and so on. the / and some other symbols aren't even assigned to any button on the keyboard, so I have to press fn + ok to bring up the symbol screen.
does anyone know of any keyboard fix that could fix this? or any registry hacks? (with the accompanying detailed direction of what exactly to edit)
I've already tried the keyboard fix that should be installed after flashing a custom ROM. oh, and my sig is wrong, I'm using mbarvian's solace 3.1 ROM.
oh and a hard reset didn't fix it.
ok after 2 hard resets and two reflashes it's back to normal. I just have to leave off the keyboard speed increase cab.
I am using 826x 28205 wm6.5.5 (New UI) rom...
and I just want to map "Sym" key as ctrl and "au" key as alt, So I install two programs...
AE Button Plus: To map Sym key as Virtual Button 11 and au key as Virtual Button 12...
PQzII: To map Ctrl = 0xCB (Virtual Button 11) and Alt = 0CC (Virtual Button 12)
This is just fine... BUT... In wm6.5.5(New UI), HTCVolumeControl can't use volume key to control.
I search some volumecontrol programs such as VolumeX, Set volume and so on.
It was cracked by key hook(Just PQzII cracked, AEBP was stable).
Is this possible that hack keypad.dll or create a service dll to map the key?
Ctrl and Alt keys are useful in terminal service(Remote Desktop).
Sorry for my poor English. (I'm from Taiwan. = =")
Hi all,
I would like to add a button on my home screen in order to clear all recent apps without having to long press on the home button and so on.
Is there any command or variable on tasker to make this possible?
Thx for helping

Advanced Task Killer (in playstore).
And then place the widget on home screen.
One-click-kill.
I just want to clear recent apps not kill all tasks! I already have greenify.

I would like to have something like that as well to call it from Llama, so it should be either a simple application that clears all recent apps on start without asking or an intent that can be called by LLama.
Thx!
Envoyé avec ma brique Galaxy Note.
newest lbe ha a toggle for that, 360 launcher as well. when using both ram is quickly cleared.
Given androids ram optimalization its also quickly filled again lol.

Looking for a similar solution I ended up just using sendevent commands to simulate long pressing the home button & input tap
sendevent /dev/input/event16 1 172 1
sendevent /dev/input/event16 0 0 0
sleep 1
sendevent /dev/input/event16 1 172 0
sendevent /dev/input/event16 0 0 0
input tap 900 1850
Works great on my S4 but you may need to enable pointer in developer options & modify the tap x y. Similarly I also wanted to clear my ram & app cache & ended up putting it all together in 2 tasks that perform either with shake events(etcha sketch?)

Install xposed framework and then Gravity Box will give you the option on a nexus 5. Couldn't find the option on Tasker either.
Is this configured under "Shell Script"?

Could you explain how you did this?
I've spent the last hour trying to get it done on my AT&T Galaxy S4 running GPE 4.4 ROM and can't get it to work.
Thanks!

Hi, I'm new to forums and Tasker. Could you please explain step-by-step how you created this please? Your method seems to be the only one on the internet.... and its beyond my knowledge of Tasker.

Hi guys landed here because I searched for this problem ....
I came up with a solution myself since the method described here is different for every device I think this should work for most
Open tasker -->new task--> script ---> run shell --> and paste this in the command line :
input keyevent APP_SWITCH
input tap 2150 1540
these numbers "2150 1540 " are for my note 10.1 2014 edition ... these are coordinates which set the location for the simulated touch tap ...
you can get your x y coordinates by enabling show cursor position in develepor options
this command does open the recent apps menu
and presses the close all all apps button
greetings

Thanks for this. However it isn’t working. I have a Galaxy Note 3 and assuming it’s the Xv: and Yv co ordinates I have 0.073 and 0.263.
But when I enter
input keyevent APP_SWITCH
input tap 0.073 0.263
It doesn’t work and the task seems to take a while to stop running.
What am I doing wrong?
If I do
new task--> script ---> run shell --> input keyevent APP_SWITCH
and click run should it open up the recent apps list? Because it doesn’t.
Thanks,

From what I understand, note 10.1 2014 still running on Android 4.3 but Note 3 already in 4.4.2, I guess Kitkat might have change this.
