I have an HTC HD7S, from AT&T, but the software is running the demo mode. I can still make phone calls, text and all but it doesn't operate the same as the stock version (ex. power button does't work)
How can I remove demo mode?!

what is Firmware revision number and Bootloader version?
also, can you get into Bootloader? with device off, hold Volume Down button.
if yes, what does the Bootloader say?
I can't go into bootloader mode. The phone won't recognize the input of both buttons.
However, I did get the info you asked and more from the About page in it:

i understand that the power button doesn't work.
Yeah, the volume and power buttons don't work. I tried several times. As a matter of fact, the only way I can turn the device off is if I physically remove the battery.

unfortunately, not sure how to help if you can't get into the Bootloader.
maybe look into jtag for the device? good luck on your quest.
Imma try to get it to work. Tell me what to do if it works.

if you can get into the Bootloader, you would just need to install the AT&T NoDo Shipped ROM.

Umm, you have a dual-sim fake Sensation XL, so probably none of the tools here will work on you, at best you can do all the things by yourself, dev things for it...

add that the phone has another active menu is pressed power and volume keys below:
** Factory mode

***** clear flash

**** reboot
But when I enter so I can not flash from FlashTool or other programs.

By searching root tools, roms, recovery etc to your phone which isnt related to htc anyhow...

Fakes usually have unlocked bootloaders and you most probably can root it using some generic rooting methods, for other device i mean, check any root script for ICS on other devices and try it for yourself, rooting is achievable on fakes.
My phone wasn't accepting any SIM. I found i guide on the forum (mtty block checker).
I used the commands given there, and after that the phone died. It doesn't charge, no image. On USB is Qualcomm Diagnostics Interface and NMEA Device.
I can't make it power on?
Is there anything I can do, to bring it back to life?

If your device can't go to bootloader mode by Hold Camera + Power buttons together and reset with stylus, then you can try using Frankenkaiser by jockyw to fix it !! or you can ask massivekid to make it according latest radio version that is on your device

My HTC 8x is stucked in 8.0.9903.10
It always tells me that my phone is up to date as if I were that dumb to believe.
This is an international version and factory unlocked.
Factory reset and try again.
Even though its unlocked, it may still be waiting for carrier applied updates. I would suggest going the Developer Preview route. I did this on my T-Mo locked 8X, that I'm using on MetroPCS, and I have 8.0.10521.155. It's worth a shot, I wouldn't have GDR3 otherwise. And its free.

For some reason, you are stuck on the original Windows Phone 8 release. Therefore the "Developer preview" won't work on this device as it requires GDR2 to be installed.
More details will be necessary to help...What carrier was it originally locked to? (if any) Is this a developer phone or a regular retail model?
try the following:
1. shut the phone off.
2. While holding down the volume up and volume down buttons, press "power"
3. A boot screen will come up. You should see something like CID:TMO__01 on the screen. Post what it is here.

Now one thing I noticed in the about phone section is that there is no update button. What I want to do is be able to root this or update the OS on it some way. I've tried Smart Switch and Kies 3 and neither can detect the phone. My computer can detect the phone so I have access to the phone via the comp. Any help or ideas would be appreciated. Thank you.
At least some of that info looks fishy to me - not like Samsung nomenclature. My first thought is this is a clone. Did you get it through a reputable channel?

I did get it from a site called dhgate.com. The phone works fine. Everything seems to be working right but there are a few quirks though.

Are you able to boot into download mode? The information you gave hints that either it is counterfeit, or it is the Chinese variant. When you boot into download mode you should know immediately if it is legit or not. If it is real, download mode will show a bluish screen with a warning message. If it is counterfeit, you will get a black screen with Chinese text.
UIt goes straight into system recovery.

When you tried to boot into download mode you booted into recovery? Did you use the proper combination of buttons?

There is a workaround for such issue.
If for some reason you cannot share an image on xda,
post the image on the website imgur.com then share the link to the page that has the photo.
That is just one workaround. Another is to save the picture to google drive, then share a link to the drive folder.
Did you understand that?

Tragic news for you.
That is the recovery screen you will only find on a counterfeit phone.

I have never heard of anyone flashing a different ROM on a counterfeit phone.
I would not even recomend you use it.
Everything about it is inferior to the real thing.
What I would do with it is destroy it.

I just tried it out on my N6, 7.1.1 build N6F26Q. No issue, phone's still locked.
Same here on N6F26Q - no problem, phone remains locked.

I have the same exact build and kernel and do not have the same issue as you. Still stays locked.
Maybe a trusted bluetooth connection.
Can you give us exact steps to replicate?
Sounds like you might have a root-kit exploit on your phone...
