Searching for a german rom

Hi guys,
after the early death of my himalaya, i thought I better would buy a alpine now and got a new device today. Because I did not find any Qtek 2020i or MDA2i, I bought a XDAIIi, free for every card, but with O2 Logo in every menu.
...and I´m working as a salesman for Deutsche Telekom^^
Now I´m searching for a german rom....does anybody know, where I can get one?

there are some german Roms for the XDA2i. Just take a look onto the o2online.de site and search for Software+XDA2i. Or take the Rome from the MDA3. The XDA2i was never released by TMO.

I have been a member in this forum for a while. I come from Germany. But in the past there was no reason to write something. I only had and have Samsung mobile phones. In 2006 I had a MDA compact. How about a wm6.5.3 build 28002 for hima guys anyone could cook this for our beloved hima..

Many of cooking experts have broken theyre devices, so they might can`t cook any new builds for our beloved device` that`s all` sorry if i made you sad.

The biggest problem to cook running WM6.5 for our device, because of the small memory.
Porting a running rom for blueangel is not easy at all. Maybe it is easier to change the .mui files to english. That would be the first time, to translate from german to english rom for sure! Normally it was the other way!

Do you mean that is our device can not live more time to install Windows Mobile 7?
It`ll be very bad thing.
I should buy a new device in this few days.

That's not exactly what I mean.
It takes time to build roms, but it is not too hard to learn to do it by yourself!
At the moment there are not many cookers around here, who now how to build working 6.5 roms. But there are at least three different kitchen to port and cook yourself! The only thing missing is the man who dares to read and understand, how it works.
In most cases it is only a matter of time.
So, guys there is a record to beat: Three days after the first question about cooking, a fifteen year old boy released his first beta. mautz001 we are waiting for more.

Thanks a lot you help me, i use a lot of windows 6.5 English with my htc hd an had always problem with written Danish because there are no Danish keyboard, this was is good.
But can you please repair the flowing:
Bluetooth and WiFi cannot be turned off and on from “Trådløse funktioner” .
Ringtone is not working, you can just use 2 or 3 ringtones but the rest are not there.

Sony confirmed that the Sony Xperia ZL will not be available in Germany. It's a shame... I would rather buy a Xperia ZL than a Z^^

I seriously don't understand Sony... people go nuts about the ZL way more than about Z - yet they decide half of the world will not get it... i wanted to get ZL but if it's not going to be available and i'll have to import it from India or somewhere even farther away and then have halved warranty, or no warranty at all - i'm gonna stick with my Note 2 then, way to go Sony.

I dont think "People" go nuts about the zl. Might be you know some, but i think sony has a serious advantage in offering a waterproof high-end phone over other manufactures.
Most of the other brands will come up with similar devices for the MWC - there wont be any waterproof devices though.
I dont get it that you people would give up the waterproofing for a little shorter phone.

Okay today the German Sony Mobile page was updated and the Xperia ZL was added to the devices... so I think we can be pretty sure it will come to Germany. Yay!
