Thanks for your reply but i'm sorry maybe my too much of a newbie but I just can get the AOKP 1.1.1 isnt AOKP at build #34 or milestone #5?
I've tried changing the DPI from 160 to 240 (i'm on build 31 of AOKP) the status bar is at the top (but of course it became the phone version) but still good
Can you confirm in wich menu you changed it?
Thanks
system setting > rom control > General UI > LCD Density
Here it is! Thank you all.
Change to 161 and get the same effect and screen real estate. 240 is phone DPI.

Hi,
I'm running the latest CM9, which is awsome.
I've tried to change the DPI using LCDDensity for Root from the market.
When I change the DPI I got errors on the launcher.
Can you let me know how you changed the DPI to 240?
Does it make any sense to use any intermediate value?
Brgds
If you havesome app like root explorer you can go to system/build.prop and change the lcd density..
It is possible to change for any value but maybe market will not work..

I have a nexus s with cyanogenmod 7 rc1. I recently got the honeybread app and successfully put on the theme. This doesn't have the original honeycomb lock screen with the blue background and the white lock where you twist the lock. how can I get this lockscreen?

You can't....at least not until we get a Honeycomb ROM or someone ports the lockscreen. For future reference please post questions or comments like this one in the Q&A or General section.
Hi,
I'm sorry about that. But do you know if such a rom is in the works?
Thanks!

I'm assuming you're using CM7 RC1. If you flash this, can you still revert back to the different lockscreen options in the Cyanogenmod settings?

this changes the images in your framework-res.apk so once you intsall it it you cant switch back to stock via the cyanogenmod settings. but you can either reflash your rom on top of this to get the old apk or do a nandroid before you do it. its not a big issue.
Is that possible to get the apk from the emulator on SDK?
Hi guys I got a question.
My galaxy Note runs ICS with the Team Rocket 1.5v rom.
My question is, can I enable the tablet UI on this rom and how do I do that.
I have seen that it has been done on other roms and I was curious if it was posible with this rom
Thank you and byebye
I don't know about RR1.5, but here is how it's done on AOSP ICS:
- go to Market and download Rom Toolbox (it's free)
- after you start RTB, go to Performance/build.prop tweaks
- you'll see a slider for LCD density there
- set your LCD density at 213 or lower to get tablet mode activated
- press 'yes' when RTB asks you to reboot your phone
That's it.
Well I tried it onTRR 1.5. The status bar at the bottom dnt show up. Dial gets messed up. U cant recieve calls and some more issues i dnt remember so if u want tab mode. Flash AOSP first
Galaxy note
Thanks guys. I will see what I can do.
thanks for this tip. works perfect
but the text and icons are quite small. is there a possibility to increase the text-/icon-size?
especially the text-size
You can modify font size in Settings/Display/Font size.
Ok I tried this, and setup 213. Didn't work atall, and now I have a problem to return my phone to standard 320! Rom toolbox lets me setup 280 at highest.. anyway to get 320 back..?
Sent from my GT-I9220 using Tapatalk
You need to run an AOSP ROM to enable the tablet UI. It won't work on TW ROM's. To get back to 320 DPI, go to /system/build.prop and change it manually there and reboot.

Use Root Explorer, edit /system/build.prop and change the RO.LCD.DENSITY line to a value of 320, save, reboot.

Hey there, I was wondering if someone could make me a transparent status bar for This cm9 sense rom. I can upload any system files that you'll need to do it. If you can't or dont want to, could you atleast point me to a guide that can help me create it? I just want this cm9 sense rom to have the full look of sense4, before it comes out. all I need is the transparent status bar. please & thank you
Look for statusbar transparency setting in Settings->System->Statusbar
there's nothing in settings about it.
i am also looking for transparent statusbar for new cm9 plz!!!!
Can it be done?
Would be nice to have.
I haven't chek my messeges but I wil update the rom and add that, you can also do it by editing the status bar background png ( whixh I tried and didn't work.) I also think that cm9reloaded might work if flashed.

Good morning friends,
presently i am using icon changer app to change icons for home screen, wherein in have to change every icon manually
i.e. open icon changer - select app - browse icons - etc..
whereas can it be automatic like... if we select an icon pack, it should change all icons automatically (all of them at once)..
I have even tried using different launchers but they spoil stock look.
Can anyone help me change all icons without having to change every icon & retaining the stock look?
Thanks for bearing with my stupid question, if it isn't possible.
Have youbtried different roms like cm10.1 or miui? Or even avatar or chameleon os? And please, questions do not belong here

That is not the background. It is actually transparent and that is the wallpaper. You just have to change the wallpaper normally and it will be great.
Been using this ROM for awhile and I have to say, it is really buggy. whenever you press the volume keys it turns whatever app you have open invisible till the volume bar goes away. The cm10.1 quick settings lags ALOT! (767mhz) and HUGE random lag spikes occur sometimes. Addictz10, I love your work please fix these issues
PS I love the notification bar transparency, nice touch
