guys can u tell me?/? will usb jig will be help full to unbrick galaxy mini????

First try to unbrick with 3 keys combo: remove battery, press and still hold home+vol up+power, after insert battery. Try! sorry for bad english!

how to unbrick samsung galaxy mini
if your phone doesn’t boot into download mode and you have a black screen heres how you unbrick it, it worked for me .
Step 1 – prepare odin with the firmware u want to flash (in my case was gingerbread 2.3.6) and get it ready to go;
step 2 – remove battery, sim and sd card, next connect your galaxy ace to the computer;
step 3 – hold volume down + power + home button at the same time;
step 4 – insert the battery and wait a bit;
step 5 – at this point odin should have detected your sg mini ( yellow rectangle should appear);
step 6 – click start button in odin and wait about 5 min.
If all goes well it should come back to life. :d

can it be repaired by samsung service center n if yes how much it will cost around??

I guess you bricked your phone with ROM manager. If its a hard brick (phone doesnt even turn on), you have to give your phone to the service center. They ll change your mother board and its free if your phone is under warranty. Good luck.

If its in warranty den no cost ..and if not den dey will charge u around 10$ ..

you can try soft unbrick
it works to me

ROM manager is a bricker, i never install it

I flashed cm9 port rom and the phone didn't turn on for like 1 hour. What should I do? I need solution asap.

Boot into CWM..
>>clear user data
>>clear cache
>>clear dalvik cache
>>now flash the rom
>>first boot will take tym dont panic. ..

[Q] cant turn on my galaxy ace without connecting charger

iam using galaxy ace.. now charger is
needed to switch on my mobile.. now iam
using by this method connect the charger
and switch on my phone. . when i tried
without connecting charge i cant turn on
my mobile. yesterday i insalled cwm
v5.0.0.26 so wat was the problem? how to solve this?. friends

Wel i think CWM can't be the cause. If it could be the cause, the phone shouldn't be turned on anyway. It's weird it switches on with charger but not otherwise.

Maybe there is a problem with the battery..

Exactly. Or may be an internal circuit problem. Make sure it gets checked by samsung officials

is the battery charged ?

Try to conect and flash a rom or a diferent kernel,some problems come whit a bad kernel or delete battery stats in recovery advanced,or is a internal problem whit a solded piece

Flash a stock rom via Odin and send back the phone to Samsung. Safest way to solve the problem for sure.

My friend took a rooted galaxy y to get back to stock rom. Though the warranty was void, they flashed it for free anyway...

I have the same problem, S5830 won't power up without charger. i fix that by flashing cm11 4.4.2. cooper. works like charm.

You can find all the rom available for Galaxy Ace S5830 here. Hope I Helped

Thanks mate... I checked it with a CM version.. but its the same... I think its some short circuit fault.. will try to sort it out on GSMForums

Hope I am posting in the right place as I am new to this.
I have a galaxy N-7000 and was using recovery to put Paranoid rom on my phone.
It started to install it then stopped and the screen went blank.
I cant switch the phone on nor can I use vol/up+ power+ menu button.
I also cannot get it into download mode and when I connect it to the computer it dos'nt see it.
I know I have probably ruined the phone but am hoping beyond hope someone can help

Are sure battery was charged quite good?
If possible try to manage for it if you have low while start flashing.
And this shud goes to Q/A section.

Moderators only can move it.
Anyway.can you manage to get JIG ? Then try to get into download mode with jig.
Once remove battery for few min then reinsert and try to get into download mode once again.

Before flashing PA on what ROM you are ON ? Stock ICS ?
If so Did you wiped on stock kernel ?

I think the rom before was KingDroid_ICS_Notemania_Edition
The kernal was Franco.Kernal-r5

yes just checked I cannot do anything the phone is off and will not switch on
into download mode nor recovery is it possible a usb jig may help?

I don't know what is a jig usb, but you should be able to flash a kernel with pc-odin and reboot recovery again.

Is there anyway back for a hard bricked mobile...ie. wont turn on, wont go to recovery and wont go to download mod.
oh and the computer wont recognise it. :crying::crying:

How do i fix my Bricked phone !! URGENT

Hey guys, I'm having big problem and can't go to sleep
i tried flashing the new ROM (i've done it so many times that i wasn't scared of anything).... Rom installed the Kernel too and I cleaned cache after installation, but ! when i choose Restart Now option, it suddenly restarted (screen went black suddenly) and the BLANK___________________. :'(
Here are the things i did whole day :/
1-3Button's technique
2-Can't go in Download,Recovery Mode
3-Can't connect to PC
It's like a Plastic Toy now that has no functions
I don't even know what it is(Hard/Soft/Dead Bricked). I've read through web that it can b a SW/FW HangUp or Temporary Brick which can b fixed ?..
Please tell me how to fix this issue,I'm really nervous
Help would b appreciated...

Infact i was checking different Rom's, i installed about 4 others before installing JellyBlast(> no problem yet occured) but after Installing JellyBlast, it's not waking up and nothing's working..
Am gonna make my Jig to wake it up, I've hopes for it.....
But can't find resistors anywhere :/

Its hard bricked: (
Jelly blast is for galaxy mini plus not the galaxy mini .
So you u flashed another device's rom.

(it is not possible) but maybe your key combo have been changed with galaxy mini 2 so try that one
or maybe the battery got empty

So Hard Bricked can b revived ?
It installed The Kernel too which i forgot to delete ......
So can i revive it back ? or should'I take it to Shop ? what'll they do btw ???

Only by sending it to Samsung repairing center or any local repairing center .
They will change your mother board .

try this to see if your phone can be forced to boot up..
remove the battery from phone
connect the phone to pc, and when the pc beeps put the battery right away..
I tried it on my mini since it can't powered on a few days ago. and it worked.

Doesn't matter if it beeps or not actually, my PC didn't beep too when I plug the phone but I just put the battery back on and it booted.
I'm afraid your mini is indeed bricked.
You can try a USB jig or "Jtag (correct me if I'm wrong)..

Dude its expensive (about 150 $)
And it might not work . just send it to Samsung repair center and they will fix it for a cheaper price .
N.B : I did that , my phone got bricked too and as u can it is working .

To me, it looks like it needs to be sent back to Samsung. See if you can get it fixed under warranty, if not you'll have to pay. Good luck.

thought your problem got solved
no it cannot happen that without battery the memory would be washed out as it is written on a storage kind of device
what you can do is just flash a four package firmware through odin (phone, pda, csc etc. slots filled)
let the phone reboots on it own, after rebooting the mobile will automatically go into stock recovery and will do some processing and you would be done

I think he cant power on his phone at all so he cant go into download mode...did you tried charging it over the night( i mean just left it on charger and see what happens in the morning)

May be your battery is damaged. Try it with a new battery.
