[Q] Video problems after firmware upgrade

Hi all, I've got an HTC one M7 and recently I've decided to update its firmware to : 6.09.401.11 , and after that flashed HTC Android revo 83.1 . Everything was ok until I've tried to record a video with the sock camera app, the video start recording as usual, but then after stop recording, I saw the video was saved with pretty bad colors, like purple , green and magenta... , then i've downloaded and tried Google camera app , tried recording again and everything was ok. So I guess there is a problem with the stock camera app...
I've uploeaded the video to youtube: www . youtube. com/watch?v=UtafU5be3Hs&list=UUJIFa_s23OFbzj1jndUypdA
Here is a captured frame of the video.:
I have colors and overlapping distortion video as well

Saw this today.
I am experiencing the same thing with my video.
HTC One m7, Sprint
5.03 firmware recently installed
Running ViperOne 7.0.1 ROM (great ROM!)
I not only see the distorted colors but it also looks like there is a 2nd image (duplicate) that is shifted and has all the weird colors.
I only see this when I replay the recording. This doesn't appear while capturing.
Good thing is I don't use my video capture much but when I do it would be nice if it worked.
thanks
rick
Any luck in resolving this? I'm on ARHD 84.0 and have the same problem!
I just noticed that I have the same problem.
No issues here. Random667 what ROM/Kernel configuration are you using?

I don't think the bokeh mode is working. I've tried it in a some different environments and haven't had any luck. I get the "Couldn't identify foreground object" error each time. I also checked the HTC website for instructions and still no luck.

Camera issue in 3rd party apps

Hey xda members, i have an issue in the camera and i really don't know if it is common to you or not but anyway let's get into the point , the problem is that when i capture a pic in a selfie mode in snapchat , instagram , facebook messenger ... etc. the pic after capturing it not as the same as it was shown to me before capturing it .. it is like it added an auto filter to it and i really don't know anyway to fix this bug/issue . so please if anyone figured out a solution please provide it ... and thanks in advance.
Up ..
.
.
Any answers please
apps probably compress it since it's not for storage its for posting on the internet. just take a picture from the camera app then using your social media app upload from local storage.
if from the phones gallery the picture is good but in the social app its trash then look no further.
social media is always to be blamed in any type of situation.

Thanks for your reply but i mean it adds an auto filter after capturing the photo, while i was having s7 edge and htc 10 and so far this issue wasnt exist , i saw some posts on android central that also some users have the same issue with s9/s9+ but unfortunately no fix as well
