How would you describe clean? Like using the 1 click stock odin by just pressing start or master wipe?
I would say a nandroid backup after full wipe, stock rooted.

I will try it tomorro if you can tell me what it wipes. Like is it just the 2gb sd card or the 16gb one too
Sent from my phone so excuse the spelling errors
Thanks. I think it would only wipe your data/factory reset in recovery. Are you using clockwork? Should leave sdcard alone. You could use titanium backup to save everything prior to wiping. If you unsure don't reset just on my account.

ive been searching every where on how to do this with out reflashing my rom. i did a nandroid but i updated the recovery so i cant use that it gives me some suggestion to do it via adb. if there is no other way to get it back i guess i will go about it that way but if there is a apk available that will be much more appreciated!
Flash through recovery:

will give it a shot thanks
EDIT: Works great! thank you so much
Glad it's resolved, but I don't see why an updated recovery would preclude you from restoring the nandroid backup. In Clockwork recovery you can go to Advanced Restore and restore only the System partition from the recent backup.

You can also flash another custom recovery from ROM Manager...

wouldn't the restore overwrite the current recovery in place?

Recovery is not part of the system partition, and in typical nandroid backups it is not even imaged as part of the backup.
Tried link in OP, just goes to Drop Box login.??
That's because I remove the file after a while...

@danger-rat, Thanks for putting it up again. Got it now.
So i just updated my phone with the newest software,i think it is for german galaxy note and i had organized all my shortcuts to my home screen and had to restart at one point.
So after restart half of my apps from homescreen are gone and my app drawer is messed up with free screens and have organize all of it each time after restarting or shutting down the phone, this is really frustrating,any1 has any way ro fix this or has the same issue after the update?

just for some precautionary measure, your using a safe kernel right?
if you are, boot your phone to CWMR and wipe cache partition, go to 'Advanced' and 'Wipe Dalvik Cache', reboot recovery and reboot system.
Try to see after if your still experiencing your 'weird stuff'
Im usin stock rom and so is everything else

sorry my bad.. so its stock ICS then.?
Do you like to root your phone by the way? if you say Yes or okay... then
What you need to do (like I've said for precautionary measure still), download either SpeedMod or HydraCore kernel (either of the two safe kernels) and flash it to your phone thru PC Odin
After that, go to CWMR and do the process I mentioned earlier.
PS. Clear out your binary counter by simply installing Triangle Away (from ChainFire).
That's it.
Ics with a minor update today for 4.0.4 version qhere you get some featurea from gs3 like gallery has xhanged with new options etc,its funny how some of the apps will stay after the restart but all the other ones are disappearing all the time

Hi
Just installed the 4.3 factory image on my nexus 7 then rooted it.
I restored my tablet with titanium backup and then it recommended that I reboot. So I went ahead and then rebooted. The nexus 7 boot loop has been going for about 5-7 minutes. Is there anything wrong?
Did you restore system apps? That can cause problems.

No. Made sure I didn't restore the system apps. I think its soft bricked. Got some help from the folks over at wugs tools but thanks anyways:highfive:
I freeze google app using titanium app after reboot phone only boot then show black screen only
Any solution without wipe data
What about re-flash the rom?
