Calling volume increase - Galaxy Note GT-N7000 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

The calling volume on my note seems to be very faint. I can speak fine in a building or walking outside, but as soon as there is a slight background noise it becomes very hard to listen to.
And I'm 21 years of age, so my hearing being bad is out of the question

anyone?

Headphone Jack Weird

Anyone else's headphone jack weird? Some of my earbuds don't get sound at all, you have to move then around to find the sweet spot.
Also, if you move them ever so slightly, it looses connection.

Mine seats fine. I have the Amaze beats headphones, Sol Republic Tracks HD and the Shure SE215. They all seat fine and sound fine.
Only one of my headphones work OK.

Oh, nevermind, I needed a lot of force to get it in the jack all the way, I thought it was in all the way.
I was scared I would break it. -_-

[Q] Nexus 7 speaker crackle

My Nexus 7 has speaker crackles. What do I do? Speaker crackles when I raise the volume above 50 percent
I bought it new from Comet before they went into liquidation.

Should still be covered by Asus' RMA time. There have been reports of "fixing" the speakers' but once it fails any fix is likely to be temporary.

I have this same issue, but only above 70% volume level. Other than that, this N7 is a beast.

Nexus 7 built quality

Hey guys! I have noticed that when I press at sides of my nexus with my fingers, color on screen fluctuates (changes). I've checked at locka computer store and displayed model has same issue. For example, my friends galaxy tab 2 10' don't have this problem. I always care about quality and this irritates me. How is it in Your nexus, does every one have the same issue ?

I'm still pondering on why a person with a Kindle and doesn't the N7 is reading and posting in the N7 forum!

My 7 has no quality issues. No color problems arise by pressing on the screen (or course I don't smash it with extreme force), no screen lift, creaks, rattles or groans. For $250 I couldn't be happier. I've even dropped it (albeit never a severe high drop onto extremely hard surfaces) with no scratches or damage.

How hard are you pressing, really?
It took decent force for me to see any change in my screen, far more force then it would receive during normal use or under game play.

Worst is left side. Normal finger pressure or really any pressure couse black to change. Really frustrating.

Is it me or does the speakers sound louder with beats off?

Maybe I'm going crazy, but when in not using headphones and watching YouTube or Pandora with beats settings off it sounds louder.
Sent from my HTCONE using xda premium
It does, but that what usually haspensehen you disable an eq... The balance and quality aren't as good but it is louder. When I'm at work I disable it because I don't need the bass... Just the volume
Yea. It's a bit louder but less quality like p3t said.
Boomsound is extremely over hyped. My girlfriends s3 is just as loud.

Yes viper stated in that thread the new base update made it louder not him, but I'm looking for something to really use the front speakers full potential and honestly I don't see the difference with the new update

I said it was just as loud if not louder.
The one definitely sounds better, but you can get apps to make the s3 sound better too.
For a phone that advertised "boomsound" and speakers with their own amplifiers...the result is very "meh". I love the phone regardless..just over hyped sound.
Hell in the breakroom at work last week, we had the power go out. We all started watching YouTube and you couldn't hear my phone over some janky LG my buddy had.
