[Theme][Gingerbread][CM6] Beta 1 Version 1! Custom Carrier names!

So I was just messing around with porting a evo gingerbread theme since there are none for CM6 on the epic and this is what I have so far. It's just a framework but it really gives the look of GB. Enjoy.

To get the colors right in the statusbar you can either change them in the CyanogenMod settings or download this xml, place it in a folder call 'CMTheme' on your sd card and select it from Settings > CyanogenMod Settings > User Interface > Tweaks Extras > Select a theme.

CM6 is Cyanogen Mod 6. It is a ROM in itself. Nothing uses it. It is completely AOSP and DK28 themes are not compatible with it. Which is why he is ipaq is making this theme specifically for CM6.

Yup, at least until I figure out how to put it in a flashable zip. Which, I may or may not do.

how do you install this? it not working for me, i pasted it in apps through root explorer and let it reboot but it didnt change anything. do i have to rename it?

You have to name it framework-res.apk and paste it in system/framework

yea it dosent seem to be working when i do that either

It should work. When you pasted did it ask you to replace he other file? If it didn't the name was probably wrong.
You also have to reboot to see the changes too.

This theme is awesome in every way with one tiny little annoyance that every theme for the Epic seems to have, when the keyboard is out the lockscreen is no longer themed, is there a way to fix it?

That is just a case of someone forgetting to replace the images in drawable-land-hdpi inside of framework-res. Can be easily fixed by you or anyone.

That's much simpler than I was expecting, I thought there might not be a way to theme landscape since every single theme for epic isn't themed in landscape lockscreen.

[Theme] Tw4 for jt's Vanilla Gingerbread 8-04 build!!! (i'm back!) *8.7.11* *WIP*

So... I've been gone for a while but today i decided i need to stop being lazy and pump out a theme. So here i am with a good start at tw4 for jt's amazing new vanilla gingerbread. Took alot of work but ive got the framework-res.apk and Systemui.apk completely done. Ill start on some of the apps tomorrow, and i have a feeling ill have to be creative in getting the aosp apps to look like touchwiz, but it will be fun.
NOTE: I'm not gonna do any themes for cm7 until theres a stable finished project... (i will not theme a rom that changes every night kthx.)
I don't have any screenshots for you but i think you guys know what to expect from my theme for comm rom... basically the same theme but a little more similar to the ec09 leak.
HUGE PROPS TO dreamsforgotten and notta for the quickpanel mod for vanilla gingerbread!!!!!!!!!!! I also made very heavy tweaks to the mod to include text and fix problems in the smali code displaying incorrect icons and unaligned text.

I really liked this theme on ComRom... glad to see it here. After I flashed it, noticed my battery icon on the status bar turned red and has a X in it... fully charged though. Can't wait for updates. Great job!

Same here, finally went to start screen after several tries but eventually would go into boot loop all over again. Theme looks really good though.
Keep me Fascinated.

V3 build 8/4 is out, downloaded from Rom Manager. Really like this theme hope to see it updated for V3.

However, the settings icon and dialpad are still babyblue... Is it possible to make ém orange aswell?
Basically, I want the stock look exept ALL the babyblue parts exchanged to orange.

[THEME][CM7] Echelon Project

In collaboration with lesp4ul, with our dedicated free time, we now give you the beta of ECHELON. Not much apps we’re skinned/themed. Removed transparency so not to slow down the scrolling.
This is not a port, we used the basic Templatebread so it is from scratch.
Nothing extra ordinary and colorful to make it simple and decent. A kevlar look statusbar (lesp4ul), shades of blue, white and black.
Most .9.png images were replaced with regular png’s. We used the Templatebread so you’d see some orange in little parts as it isn’t complete theme. Pardon us as we are beginners.

No. Its An themechooser theme witch only is included in the CM roms

Did you reboot? And if you're still using the old beta and installed this one without uninstalling the old one, reboot is a must. Don't worry, try rebooting and tell me if it still exist. Cause I didn't theme/touched whatsapp.. I experience this without rebooting regarding keyboard as I install one beta after the other without uninstalling. you'd also get some Market, Theme chooser FC's without uninstalling the one I gave you and installing this and without rebooting.
If first/fresh intall of Echelon, no reboot is necessary. but as a precaution that's why I included reboot in instructions.

Nope, CM7 only. Perhaps when official Gingerbread for OB is released I will port it. For a widely used open. (Like V10E European open of Froyo). I will only port it to stock widely used Gingerbread.

and can you release a version with just the icons because thats what the real droid razr ics update looks like?

It is for hdpi , but applicable for mdpi also by LCD density moder . Nice theme , data signal position is not proper . Needs more like dialer .
