(Poll) What ROM??

Hi guys! This thread is created just for fun,no need to get serious! I figured this way everyone can have some time to relax!
So,if you have the ability to create whatever type of ROMs you want,what type of ROM would you create?
Ok. Me first. For me,I will create a ROM that can play all games without fail. No lags at all while playing Asphalt 6... haha,it's almost hard to imagine. Now,your turn.

Fast, stable and reliable. Of course!
And a bit more seriously - I'd aim to have as stable ROM as possible, even when I'd have to trade a bit of performance for it. I'm just too tired reflashing new ROM every 2 weeks.

OK OK, sorry dude, I really didnt read the first post carefully.
I need a ROM which will work flawlessly and without a minimum lag or hang. I dont want to play heavy games or heavy applications. Just Gmail, Map/Navigation, Facebook, Quick office, Music player etc. I wish this will run with me. Hahaha no custom are capable to fulfill my need.

Normal stock 2.1 is the best.

I just want ICS on our X8 ...

I would create a ROM that is Ultra Fast, Ultra Stable, Bug-free, can play XPeria Play Games without lagging, an Android ICS version perhaps, using X8 with stock kernel.

Try the latest kuyadroid with alfs v6, its close to perfect.
As for me, I would love to port android to my LG viewty smart. 8mp camera, 800x400 screen, 1.5mb internal memory, wifi and gps. But wait for the best bit....... Its got a cpu that would struggle in a calculator. LG, you fools, why have you ruined such a great phone?

Well I can help Achotjan for port but now I'm working on my SkRiLL Droid Project so I'm busy ill help as soon as possible but don't worry my SkRiLL Droid is based on MiniCM and Prime HD m1 and it will work on naa and stock so u can wait a bit for it

I've GDX v026 (2.3.7) flashed on my xperia x8 and it's awesome rom everything workin fine, but am just wondering if there's any better roms?

I am using MiniCm7 2.2.0 right now, cuz with GingerDX my phones WiFi dont want to work. But yeahh MiniCm7 and GingerDX r both really good roms and i dont now any better roms. Have tested many roms but those two r best for me so far.

For me better than GDX is MiniCM7 2.2.0 and alfs8av5 by djnilse&alfsamsung

You could always try the ICS roms. Most of the kinks have been ironed out and MiniCM9 is quite smooth

On minicm9 camera work,recording video is laggy,panorama is laggy for this while,but wifi works.

You have to flash the nAa ics kernel first. Then wipe data and flash rom and gapps.

what's ur phone mate !? the wifi works on my phone since the 22 and on gdx we are on 26 !!

i can't use "[ROM] MiniCM9-3.0.2 [26/5/12]ICS 4.0.4/CM9 port for the Χ8"
since i don't know what's written on my white stickers so i can't know if can unlock my bootloader any other rom's guys ?

How about gingerxperia v25 rom?? I think so far so good..

I tried v26 with alfs kernel, I even tried factroy reset but didn't worked just shows error while turning on...

Xperia x8 roms

Can somebody give me some good roms whic I can install on my Xperia x8 without unlocking bootloader?
I allredy have GingerXperia 2.3.7 and i want android version higher than 3.0.

GingerCruzt, XGIN and GDX is really worth a try for stock.

U can try kuyadroid 4.5.4. It's very stable and fast.
Orignal gingerbred look and awesome performance.
I already tried gingerdx ang gingerxperia, but i like it most because it is simple and fast.

Hi Xda developers and all its users.
I have xperia X8 and i love my phone and using android 2.1 Eclair happily but for so many days i am quite unhappy because of some resons about my phone like
I cant port my apps toy sd card(Main Reason)
Multi touch disability..
So i have just rooted up my phone and install xrecovery 0.1 sucessfully
Now i am bit confused about choosing a rom formy phone..
After reading other threads about same problem some said froyo is better and else said ICS is better..
So guys plz suggest me which rom i should install in my phone which have no bugs and cant be laggy at all...
I can use my phone mostly for gaming,browsing and listening songs.
I like ICS and Jelly beans both..
Is there any custom rom among both of them which i can use....
Please suggest me...

Well since you've just install xRecovery i assume you are using stock kernel.So i suggest you to use GingerDX v028b.

go to original android development category,and there you can find rooms like ics,download canoygen mod 7 with ics themes,it has android gingerbread 2.3.7 and its for daily using and it has great performance..

your device is on stock kernel so put gingerbread rom/froyo ,its more stable....cause jelly bean and ics are not stable though on custom kernel.

Searching helps. Now, there is no "best rom". But since you pretty much know what you want, i suggest checkinh out the roms in the dev forums and find out which rom suits you best.
