[Q] Why does my O2X recovery buzz? - LG Optimus 2x

Hi guys,
So ive just got a LG Optimus 2X and its an amazing phone... just a quick question, when i've installed CWM (all versions) its always vibrates and buzzes (its quite scary). Could someone tell me the solution or what im doing wrong, that would be much appreciated
P.s. is it because I installed BusyBox w/ SU and then with JRummy?
Thanks
Weeo

Some phone have that problem. And one of them is mine and I have not found a way to solve it. But it seems that not that much damage has happen to the phone.

Jepp, I can understand that, I feel the same. It take away a bit of the fun when you flash in a rom and that annoying vibrate is all you can hear...

[Q] Keyboard open "click" disappearing

You know that really nice solid click the screen makes when you open the keyboard? Well, I'm on my third Droid 3 now, and every single one, after two weeks, the sound gets quieter and quiter, until it's complete mush upon opening the keyboard. My friend has had his Droid 3 for about the same time, and doesn't have this issue. Has anyone else had it? Does anyone know of a possible fix somehow? I know it's silly, but I'm picky haha!
I have not had any problems with mine, maybe u push it up to hard.

Perhaps, but I really don't think I was hard on it at all. :/
Well at least Verizon keeps giving you new ones.

NS4G OEM battery door

where can I get one of these new? I found some used on ebay and I found them on Global Parts but you have to be a member.
non nfc would be nice for me since people say it helps with reception
I just want a out of the box stock one, just so I can save itm
Samsung sells them for about $16.xx.

I have called multiple times, emailed, and tried several departments. None available and they tell they have no idea when they can get them.
Here you go .. NON-NFC one: http://cnn.cn/shop/samsung-i9023-nexus-black-battery-cover-p-13069.html
The site is OK, I've ordered from them in the past and everything was as advertised.
Fantastic! Thank you!

That will not work on the Nexus S 4G.
I thought that 4G and I9023 have exactly the same size.
Later edit: on a second search I've found out that 4G and I9023 battery covers have different product codes meaning that are most likely sligtly different... damn it.
hey im a member on global part i might be able to help you out

need the novacom drivers!

hi all,
I'm about to send off my touchpad for some warranty business (wifi issues and cracked plastic around the speakers) but need to remove ICS.
No problems there, can do that easy.
I can't however, install the novacom drivers. need to do this ASAP. I've searched on google and here to no avail.
Can anyone PLEASE point me to a direct link? the palmnetwork link that seems to be on all sites is dead...
thanks! :\
Use this. http://forums.webosnation.com/canuck-coding/278224-universal-novacom-installer-uni-v1-2-1-a.html

Did I get a clone phone?

Hi all. I recently bought another S3 4G and it feels no where near as good as my old S3 is there a way to tell if I have received a clone phone? It says galaxy S3 and I successfully installed ripper rom on it but it just don't feel right.
Also what is a room that has 0 system apps on it and is bare so I can start from scratch?
Thanks

Well when I plugged it into the PC it said hardware ID missing but then Kies installed drivers so I'm guessing so but not to sure.

Simply put: If it says it registers to be a SGS III and you can install a ROM that is device specific then it is an S III. If you are still curious though try finding a hardware reading or something and compare it to normal S IIIs

Just check if it has Samsung features like direct call, and multi window

If it is running a Samsung ROM that would brick any other device other than the I9305, then it would have it.

Okay I'll check everything as soon as I get home . Thanks for the help everyone.
My other question is what's a rom with everything removed and just the important things like phone and messaging ect
Sent from my GT-I9305 using Tapatalk 2
Well it was detected as a S3 and I installed 2 I9305 Roms on it so must just be because....... Well I dunno. Its black maybe lol? Just doesn't feel the same as my old S3 4G did.
It will grow on me

Hahaha I can imagine the feeling actually, well enjoy and I strongly recommend Liquid Smooth ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2149746), it is basically the same as Cyanogenmod (both AOSP) but unlike CM it has an official build, less bugs (in my experience), proper support and a proper maintainer though it would not be there if not for CodeWorkx so many thanks to him.

Yes I have it on my phone, it has never bugged flashing. If it were to have the Samsung features then it would have a crap load of bloatware on it, making it slower etc. It doesn't even come with the calendar installed so it doesn't like bloatware (excluding GTalk)

I have liquid smooth and installed it. Only thing is the icon names wasn't in English for some reason and it was set to English in the settings.

Ahhhh. I love these types of post the most. (sarcasm)
People giving a description of their problem. And nothing else.
GIVE WHAT YOU HAVE ON YOUR PHONE.
ROM,
KERNEL
WHATEVERS IN BOOTLOADER
ALL THAT STUFF.
You can always undervolt/under clock
But it might lead to instability
