I notices this with 2 websites. Flickr and Youtube. Lets work with youtube.
I go to a video, it loads, for a split second I see the page, then it goes all white, but the music keeps playing. What makes it weird, is when I open the developer console or JS console, the website works normally, I can scroll and stuffs, when I close the console, it stays on the half it last saw, and I can't scroll again. Tried disabling extensions, and nothing helped. Before it worked again if I restarted Chrome now it doesn't. I even updated to the newest beta.
Update: I just found this problem with another website, which it never had. Also I don't have this problem with any other browsers, and I'm running a mac, even though it wouldn't make a difference. And don't tell me to get a PC because I have more PC's than you.
Interesting thing, after I found another website with the problem. It's when I try to view the page hits on my facebook business page. That has a graph. So does the flickr page. Maybe something with HTML5?
Ended up restarting my computer and it seems to be fine now. Weird. But maybe keep this topic open if it happens again. It was a while since I restarted my computer, a month maybe? lol
Chrome has always been buggy with youtube for me. It used to go to an all white screen anytime I tried to view fullscreen. Little other things here and there. Firefox is still my goto, though chrome to mobile has possibilities.

Anyone have a working firefox apk for autonooter. I tried to install an apk i found but it didn't install and actually created an issue with my Application pop up screen.
not answering to your question but i tryed FF4 on nookie froyo and it's not very good.. Keep Opera mobile if you can use it, or Miren browser if opera is not 2.1 compatible..
I just want to install it to hopefully fix the bug that is occuring when I scroll on the app screen. It kicks me out everytime to home.
I found Firefox 4 mobile to be very buggy still. The sync doesn't really work, you can't get onto sites with a username and password, and it's slow. They did do an update in the last few days though, so maybe things got a bit better.
I've been messing around with it, firefox 4, for a couple hours today. I've had no issues with the sync option, I actually really like it. being able to sync my laptop's tabs to the nook is a worthwhile feature IMO. however, I really like dolphin HD. Enough so, that I doubt I'll switch.

Why haven't you tried the android market? They have a working one available, and yes opera seems better for the nook color!
I usually don't usually have a problem saving pics from wg (wallpaper) onto my sd card, until recently. Whenever I try to open or view the pic in a new window, it doesn't load. I'm doing this over a wifi connection and I don't have any problems viewing other content. Any ideas on what I can do to resolve this issue?
Does it work in a different browser?
That's a very good question! Why didn't I think of that?
Well, yes the picture did load in firefox (took awhile though).
However, it seems I can't save the pic now. Odd...
ChanScan from the Market?

Chanscan: interesting app with potential, but it didn't work as advertised for me.
I also spoke too soon about firefox. The pic I wanted wouldn't load up for me a second time. I tried skyfire next. After a couple of refreshes and a couple of false downloads, I finally got the bloody wallpaper.
Thank you, everyone for your suggestions.
Guys, I am starting this thread as I did not see this issue discussed.
My phone is not able to load picasa web albums or view pictures from the IE browser. When I click on a link from an email, the picasa mobile page launches and loads. But the Google loading circle with colored dots go round and round, trying to load the pictures, but they never do. I've tried this with couple of albums with no luck.
I'm not sure if anyone has this problem. Please share your thoughts on this and any workaround.

Probably because Google is trying to use some fancy HTML5/JavaScript trickery that IE doesn't yet support.
Go into your settings for IE, and change it to view in desktop mode, then reload the page. You should be able to browse Picasa then.
I just noticed this problem too. Very disappointing that this thread is from 8 months ago and the problem still exists!
Every time I launch Chrome browser (I'm sure I'm not the only one here!) it takes an age to be ready for me to type an address.
Even when the cursor appears in the address bar and the keyboard pops up, it's still not ready to type. When I impatiently start to type something the keyboard confuses presses for long presses, so I get numbers appearing instead of letters etc, a complete mess.
The wait is probably something like 20 -25 seconds, doesn't sound like a lot, but on a modern phone its aaaages! It's a shame, because the instantly-ready aspect is why I choose Chrome for Windows. Not so for the phone.
I have to say, the 'Internet' browser app that came with the phone is pretty instant, but does anyone have a recommendation for any other browsers that are pretty instant? I like the integration with my desktop that Chrome offers
Sorry guys - I guess I should have searched first!!
I'll have a look at Firefox, Opera, Dolphin, Boat etc!
Try opera and Next browser. Was using opera since my nokia N76 but this next browser is super fast and good looking.
P.S. chrome tends to lag a lot if you have it sync with desktop one.I guess it cant handle that many bookmarks or something.

Has anyone looked into why Firefox for Android keeps crashing on the Xperia V whenever a given page has one or more embedded videos or animations in it? I have three V's, all running the 9.2.A.2.5 firmware, and they all exhibit the problem, to the extent that caused me to stop using Firefox altogether, even on my Windows machines.

I have SG4 stock and since last update FF crashes within about 5 sec of loading a page (any page). Tried to download the beta and have the same problem. So, for now, stopped using ff altogether on the desktop and mobile... since I need the sync feature, I switched to chrome while waiting for this to be resolved.

Ditto. Alas, Mozilla and Firefox used to be so good...
I have tried to leave feed back on the android/google app store. But, f***ing google requires you to sign up for Google Plus account just too leave feed back (talk about trying to passive-aggressively force you into a service)... and I am absolutely refusing to sign up with that stupid service. So, for now can't leave any feed back for firefox or any other ****y/good app.

Update: uninstalling Adblock Plus somewhat helped, but I haven't tested FFfM long enough to be sure that ABP was the actual cause of the problem yet, mainly due to another annoying FFfM issue - flickering text. On any given page, the text blurs out for about one second at five-second intervals. I'm not sure if this is a problem specific to the Xperia V or is a general issue; I haven't tried FFfM on any other devices.
