Hello guys. This is my first try at ROMs. So I decided to make a barebone rom for perfomance/battery.
Credits to:

Features of this rom:
Extremely Bareboned.
Deodexed.
Nexus bootanimation.
Beats audio.
Robot font.
Init d / Build.prop tweaks.
Galaxy S3 Icons.
Cool battery Icon.
LauncherPro - A Fast/Stable/Smooth launcher.
Latest Kernel by Rafael 08/24
Based on latest firmware XXLF3.
Permament CWM when u flash the ROM.
This ROM is for GT-S5830i only. DO not flash on GT-S5830 It will brick your phone. Other models same as GT-S5830i make Backup and test if it works report here.
How to install the ROM:
1) Download the ROM from the link below.
2) Place it in SD Card.
3) Reboot and apply Clockwork Mod Recovery.
4) Then in CWM do the following:
a) wipe data/factory reset
b) wipe cache
c) Go to Advanced > wipe dalvik cache.
5) Now install zip from sd card.
6) Choose the ROM zip file and wait untill installation finishes.
7) Reboot and ENJOY GingerAce

wow..its raining roms here..i guess i am the first one to dowload this..thanks for the upload man..i will try it out and provide my feedback..who would have known 4-5 months back that custom roms would become a reality for 5830i...kudos to all the devleopers here who have made this possible..

Is in the rom including CWM with not working backup/restore or other CWM?

Great rom..its really quick and light on resources. Iam nt a huge fan of LP so i removed it and installed holo launcher instead. Works great.
2 things i noticed..
1. There is no way to change the wallpaper of the lockscreen.
2. Many of the default audio sounds are missing. Were they removed intentionally?

audio sounds hd been removed by me in simplicity. So it wil nt b in dis rom as well.

Flashed without any problems, but I´m facing network problems. My ace is S5830M, firmware WHLA1 I know it doesn´t matter since rom are compatible with every firmware, but any idea on why i cant connect to network.
Edit.
Fixed, just need to stop data pack for a moment and it´ll catch the network. After that just restart data packs.

The CWM Backup/Restore feature works. You just shouldn't restore a backup made before you install the ROM with permanent CWM. Because It will restore the CWM and it wont be permament. Otherwise if u make a backup using the new CWM U can Restore it aswell.

1. That is because the default Gallery app is removed. You can maybe use Holo Locker as it adapts to your Homescreen wallpaper.
2. Yes I removed them because they take space and are useless. I usually use Zedge for those stuff

U can empty the hostfile and del some fonts too.
Nice work, but imho, a barebone shouldnt have a launcher.

I dwnloaded the gallery 3d app frm play shop bt i guess that is different frm d default gallery app? Although d luk and feel is pretty mch d same bt it doesnt have d option to manage lockscreen wallpaper.
I find holo locker to be snaggy. Its nt as smooth as d stock locker.

Yep it is laggy. Well anyways. I will try to provide u with the stock gallery apk tommorow cause i go sleep now.

oh no worries...it aint that important.....thought of just reporting it here..besides i can always copy the stock gallery apk from another working rom..

Guys, I think I will be moving this rom over to XXLA2 baseband. I will flash PDA.tar from raj. deodex it and try to move the rom on that Baseband.
Reason: I will implement, Qeemi's 6 lockscreen in the ROM
So wait and hope it goes good

Isn't difficult to add 6 lockscreens mod.
U need to edit android.policy.jar of your firmware

sorry mate it can be done only on samsung based stock and custom roms,CM7 has this feature by default..i remember using this feature in cm7 on my Galaxy Ace

I found out that stock rom and kernel is the fastest and smooth kernel and rom build so far that's why I'm using stock

It's deodexed stock rom but yes it's rock stable

Flashing Guide
1.Download the rom and place it in the root of sdcard
2. Click here to download CWM for our device .Thanks to Milan.sis!
3 Put CWM-6102.zip in your sdcard root
4 Reboot to recovery using 3 button combo (Home Key+Volume Up Key + Power Key)
5. Select update from sdcard
6. Chose the CWM-6102.zip
7.CWM hould now appear
8.Wipe Data/Factory Reset
9.Select Apply update from sdcard
10.Select MIUI Duos.zip
11.Flashing should begin and complete successfully
12.Flash the necessary bugfixes.This step is important!!!!!!
13.Enjoy the MIUI experience....
Note:-There is no need for data wipe for flashing updates.

1.An Interesting bit of information....This rom was built completely on my phone using root explorer!
2.I am not as experienced and awesome dev like milan.sis or kurotsugi or nitubhaskar or lavadepa etc etc so please dont slander too much if a feature doesnt work
3.Plus...this is first release so many bugs are likely to be there..please dont mind.help me fix them instead
4.This rom has been tested and its working on stock kernel which i have included in the rom.I dunno about custom kernels as its not been tested.There is a high chance itll work.
5.I greatly encourage feature requests...please request features and ill implement them.
6.If anyone can post screenies it will be much appreciated
7.The FOTA updater is still in beta.Please post reports,errors and bugs to be fixed

@mrappbrain... I downloaded from your pm.. did you change something or is it same? Because I don't want to download again.. so please let me know if you changed something.. what was that updater-script? Was something wrong with that? And one doubt... you have added boot.img.. can I ask which kernel it is? The stock one I included in my stock rom?

Its mostly stability improvements and new apps added.I also changed the boot animation.I dont think u need to download it again..just enjoy...

There is already technoduos which uses Xperia home as launcher and there is a Xperia NXT Mod

@op accidentally i delete boot.img file from the pack...will you give a link to it..i am unable to download whole file...pls help me..

yes.. its safe to do that with this.. as its boot.img from stock... if you deleted it.. replace it with other boot.img which is working for you.. it will work too.. boot.img is kernel.. so make sure its a working kernel file for y duos phone..

AFAIK it is CWM flashable zip file..

Very nice simple theme! Now that i am on 4.1.2, it looks great!

Dang. It does look fantastic! Would love to run this on 4.2.2.

in my case, I use the following flashable zip to revert to stock jelly bean 4.1.2. Not sure what file need to be replaced, so I manage to replace the following files:
systemUI.apk, systemUI.odex,framework-res.apk It works for me https://www.dropbox.com/s/mlkataf5m8ztn0i/systemUIstock.zip.

- When device turns ON, RELEASE POWER BUTTON (Keep Holding Volume UP Button)
- Will Enter Recovery...then Select file "beutiful thme.zip" and PUSH power button... finish .. am i right ? how to go back to official theme ? ...please anyone help...i realy like this theme...thnks alot all

I ported a rom from galaxy ace wp8 and democracy and cm7.2 then came up with a windows rom for mini

Installation
go in cwm,wipe data and flash rom and gapps twice
when booted go to theme and change
note:i need some help in making a new setting and theme for the rom
any help is welcomed

bugs:
i would like to make a new settings apk and animations
keyboard background sometimes dissapears
music player doesn't refresh
some parts of settings dont work e.g. wallpaper
i dont know how to flash the rom with the preferences you want

Looking at screenshots i guess it is just theme and launcher, not a rom. Can you please post screenshot of about phone and kernel verision

It is a theme and apk bassed rom but i am looking for someone to help as i dont know much developing/coding/programming
