Seems as though the Hulu app that is supposed to work on most devices crashes on me when I click on search. I can watch videos that I do not have to search for but when I try to search it crashes. Anyone have Hulu successfully working on their ds7 wifi? If so can you tell me how to do it? I also tried the modded flash player from vgeezy with no luck on Hulu.com.
I just want to watch what I pay for lol, and Hulu is being retarded about not supporting more devices.
Any help will be appreciated!
No one has a solution?

probably due to the 'iphone' in the url that is preventing it?

The site is: iphonetvshows.net
And it says: "We currently support the iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad, & Android phones"
It works on the EVO and a couple other android phones, just wondering why not on the captivate, and if there is a way around it.
Same I could stream on 2.1 but with 2.2 I no longer can

It looks like the format is mp4. One of the boondocks episodes direct link via that site is: http://tossen5.info/tv2/16thtv/2-1-Or%20Die%20Trying-00.mp4
Any other vid players on the market work for streaming video? Has anyone tried using the Video player from CM6?
I'll try later this morning if no one gets to it.
Now that we have a working Flash for the Xoom, is it possible to mod one of the Hulu apps to work on the Xoom? I tried installing the one form SkyRaider from my Dinc. It installs and will even load but when you click on a video it doesn't run.
Any dev's that can weigh in on this would be great!
Hi
We have opened a testing request for the aplication "TV Shows Stream" and "Tv Shows Stream Lite"
The testing request thread is here :
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=977194
And the main thread aplication is here.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=903351
The aplication need flash player installed. It will play the videos from megavideo and other streaming site that are using jwplayer. The aplication is working fine in all 2.2 / 2.3 android flash capable tablets and in most of android devices with flash.
Any info will be welcome, thanks in adnvanced.
Downloaded the lite version from the market, the sound works, but the video doesn't show. Also, wanted to stay on track, any way to mod the Hulu apps?
Would Hulu work if you have flash player and then use the Browser in desktop mode (through hulu.com)?
I haven't gotten my Xoom yet so that's my pending theory right now.

No, Hulu will check your flash version which reports as android, so you have to fix that as well.
Also don't have my Xoom yet - but you can try this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=990676

Thanks... Hopefully I'll get mine this week or next week. That thread looked like it works pretty well.
Think using hulu this way would be better than paying for Hulu Plus

This has been discussed at length already....

Won't work. I attempted everything including modifying the apk. Nothing worked.

Is there a Hulu fix for the ds7 with stock honeycomb rooted? I saw a couple of posts, the hulu apk for most devices semi works but crashes every time I try and search. The Hulu fix in the ds7 forum has a dead link for the file needed to replace the one on the build.prop.
Well it would be nice if someone was able to port seanscreamz Hulu fix from the skyrocket forums for one of his roms and we could just go to Hulu.com and watch. Or if someone has knowledge on how to port and let me know how to do it I would be happy to try.
Anyway, it drives me nuts not being able to access Hulu, thanks in advance for any help!
I don't know exactly why but my phone just doesn't like the official hulu plus app could be a memory hog or something else and since Hulu doesn't seem to want to help I came here. Does anyone know of an app that you can watch hulu on that is of course safe that I can use to watch my hulu stuff on the go? I have a feeling the app is just a memory hog since I can do other streaming app with no problems.
YouTube and Netflix are all I can use reliably
? I'm talking about hulu why are you talking a YouTube and Netflixs
