Is there a onlcick or anything to unlock it or get me the code to unlock it without those stupid sites that say will give code for money sorta stuff. Please help

Nope. you need to go to one of those " code for money" kinda sites. do your research and find out who has the best reputation and sucess rates. make educated decisions based on that.

I know this is an XDA forum, but I got to thinking: is there a way for the XDA Manipulator to possibly work with the RIM Blackberry devices? I'm being held hostage to an AT&T account and they never release the codes. If I could somehow figure out a way to unlock it, though, that would be super.
Any ideas?
dont know if there is one
At&t ALWAYS releases their codes. They have to by law.
Do you need a code? if you do i can get it for you...just send me a pm

Welcome to forums
As this is an HTC devices only you won´t get too much atention.
better if you try in a bberry forum:
http://www.blackberryforums.com/
Good luck,
Is the only way to do this with the cdma developer program
I just bought a HTC pro but its in a negative file
I have a HTC 6800 that i broke the screen on with all clean numbes like the esn can i somehow swap them with out paying another 200 dollar to buy the full program
Negative list? My guess is what your trying to say is that the phone is blacklisted because it has been stolen or lost and that the legetimate owner called the phone company to put the ESN on a blacklist. This is highly illegal and immoral as you are trying to steal the property of someone else... Even if you paid good money for it.
In that case I don't think anyone here on XDA will be helping you. It's not because we are unlocking phones here and by this way we violate the terms of the limited warranty of mobile phone opperators that we all steal and pirate stuff. We merely enhance the functionnality of our phones. If you found the phone or stole it you should bring it back to it's belonging carrier in a store.
Anyway if this is not the case you should know that even if both the phones are your legal property(Then I apologize for the little morality speech... Please ignore it.), this is still an illegal procedure you are undertaking. I really doubt you will find active help in this thread, moreover this has been discussed many times in other threads. Have you search?
Good luck anyway in getting a working phone!
Its not stolen the guy that had it before still owes money on the bill so the phone cant be used
bell knows I have the phone
I have done a lot of searching and I have found a lot out
Just wondering if there was a way around the program for $200 that will help me fix the phone
Ide like to get it working .......... worst part is that i know it can be done Just need a bit of direction
O well.............

I hope I'm not going to get into trouble for linking off site, this isn't the place for this topic as psyko_chewbacca said. I think you might be interested in this thread though http://www.mobile-files.com/forum/showthread.php?t=87425&page=20 the solution(post 192?) is for a touch diamond, might work on your phone. A forum search on that site might turn up even more. That site is more appropriate for topics such as this though.

Willis
Thanks!
That thread has lots of good info abut as far as i can see i still need CDMA workshop
im still looking for it
Hi,
Does anyone know the security level of the free goldcard generator please? I am looking at removing the security lock from the Nexus One via the SIMLOCK menu.
Currently I am using a goldcard generated via the PSAS website, plus a config.dat and cid.txt file.
I get the following information on the display:
IMIE checking PASS!
Security checking....
Set security flag 0 fail !!!!
PASS!
SecurityLevel:1
Clear Network code
UnlockCode= REMOVED
Write Network Code Error
Now I am more than happy to stump up 30€ for PSAS as long as I know that their goldcard generator in the app does actually provided me with a SecurityLevel0 card... I did email them, but no response.
Regards
Thread moved to Q&A.
What the heck is a gold card for the Nexus One?
All Nexus Ones are sim unlocked, you can use any SIM card.
And the bootloader is unlocked simply by typing "fastboot oem unlock" in fastboot mode.
Hi,
Yep, your completely correct it is sim unlocked. However, myself and some on the guys on IRC in #modaco are looking at how to disable security (S-OFF), and one line of enquiry is using the goldcard.
One guy is disasembling the hboot, and noticed certain calls and conditions in the code. I used the free goldcard from PSAS's website, however I get SecurityLevel: 1 ... we need level 0.
Again, I beg for an answer to the question: WHY?
It has been proven time and time again that HTC will STILL warranty repair hardware defects for bootloader unlocked phones.
You guys are wasting massive amounts of time trying to do something completely irrelevant to anyone.
Yea but some people that rooted their phone and want to go back to stock want to also get rid of that stupid lock water mark I am one of those people and I don't have 529 dollars to do a warranty and don't have a spare phone to wait until mine comes back.

Have u figured out how to turn off the security yet
Sent from my Nexus One using XDA App
Stop asking why please
I really wish people would stop asking "why would you want another way to unlock the nexus?" This slays me. Y does it even matter to you? R u upset that people are trying to get HD video out of the nexus? Are u upset that people are writing apps to allow wireless tethering even tho the capability is already built in??? If not, why be upset about this?
If people want to figure out a BETTER way to unlock these phones, let them. Yes, Google put this command (oemunlock) in the code and then secretly told someone over here about it. Awesome, so we have their way. But it voids the warranty. So what if HTC still honors it? They don't HAVE to.
I have disliked the oemunlock method of unlocking ever since it came out. It was nice to have root so soon, but it stifled creativity on here IMO. I'm glad there is another way for ATT and tmobile users already.
I, for one, am glad these guys are working on this here.
Well to keep you guys up to date. We have found that the goldcards even created with the paid version of PSAS for the Nexus One, give security level 1, not 0. So a lot now is in the hands of the PSAS guys, we have brought this to their attention and hopefully they will have a fix.
To the people questioning the reasons why we would even continue:
1) Simply, why not !!
2) We also wish to get CID 11111111, which completely removes all restrictions
3) Obviously the removal of the padlock. I personal use 100% offical ROM's, but as my handset is an EU model, was forced to unlock to break free of VF ROM(s).
4) The final outcome is highly likely to help HTC Desire owners too.
If anyone wants to make a donation to PSAS, however small (I made one of 15€) as without their goldcard page, reverse engineering and software, there would likely be no resolution to security unlocking on many handsets. Just browse around to see how many people are creating free goldcards... bunging them 5€ or something nominal like that via PayPal is the more than decent thing to do.
Please guys, chip in if you can
http://psas.revskills.de/?q=goldcard
You will see the donate button there.
I donated 25

Just saw this link to unlock any HTC phone.
Don't know if it works.
Before anyone asks: this is for network unlocking, not bootloader (S-ON) unlocking.
Arh yes, there is a difference ;-)
There sure is! People get very excited about the word 'unlock' in these parts, didn't want any misunderstandings taking place...

There is a small link at the HTCDEV site on the Lower right corner that reads:
Tell us what you want.
Lets go Guys all you have to put there is : unlock the AT&T HTC Vivid !!!!!
Just everytime you remember. go and write that in there and hit send. maybe they will get tired of hearing this and unlock it.

I'm convinced AT&T will not let them unlock it no matter what. Some think it has to do with tethering. No root = no tethering = better for AT&T.
According to my contact at HTC, the whole issue is that HTCDEV.com is a 'sign up for' deal. Basically AT&T hasnt been specifically lying when they say ' we didnt ask them to lock it ', its more, 'we didnt say OK to them unlocking it'....
We need to beat up the bastards at AT&T. I want a copy of that damn agreement they have, since it would show that AT&T has been specifically manipulating the public with fake statements.

I want it too.
Also, I heard that when you use HTCDev, if it works or not, they void your warranty. Is this true? I honestly doubt it's LEGAL to void your warranty if your bootloader is locked.. if this is true, **** HTC forever, and hi Samsung.
I went to it and summited it and then hit the back button summited it again like 100 times already lol I will keep on too don't know if it does anything but if it does all they will see for hundreds of comments is
Vivid unlock boot loader thank you
Vivid unlock boot loader thank you ......
Still posting lol
You bet every day and will till they do something
I'm adding my posts.
Keep bothering the HTC people someone will eventually listen and at the very least lie again to us like Peter did when enough people protested.

or this:

I think they have more on their mind like why they lost 30% market value last quarter.
I say like the phone for what it is, go figure out how to root it yourself, or just buy a samsung.
This is it vivid is gone! !!
Sent from my new skyroket with root and loving it using xda premium
I must say, the longer I have this phone the more I like it, much more than the samsung, this is a nice piece of hardware

......What? I downloaded PDANet right from the android market on my unrooted Vivid and used it to tether... So I'm gonna say that's not it
i'm new to htcdev and this is probably a stupid question but they have instructions for unlocking the boot loader on phones, does it just not work on the Vivid?
No... when you try to go through the unlock process at the very end you receive the following message: error 170: CID is not allowed
