Dear PrimeHD user & Haka,
I am using PrimeHD ROM with the stock kernel. Within a certain time, especially after sending an SMS, there is a ringing bell. I'm sure it's not ringtone anything that I have set. I already turn off all the delivery report, but the sound did not appear. The bells are going off, when I restart. I wonder, please give me a solution? Thank you. Sorry for my bad english.

Try a third party messaging app like Handcent. Set it as your default messaging app. See if the problem persists. If the problem persists , then some wrong setting somewhere not in the app. If the problem vanishes , then some wrong setting in your messaging app.

Hello guys
Friend of mine running stock Galaxy Note. GB without OS upgrades or custom roms. Just as it came out the box.
Today, when we were having breakfast, he couldn't access his SMS. The message would come, but when he open the SMS app, there was nothing showing up.
In the same time, all missed calls notifications stopped working. He has barely any apps, an older guy, who use everything stock, and the Note is just for him to read news.
I have been using S2 for a year and S3 for few weeks. Not once I came across such thing, nor do I remember seeing any post regarding such issue on Android forums.
Any light on the topic would be much appreciated.

I've got the same problem with SMS missing. All my SMS suddenly disappear from the SMS list. Need help how to check if all my SMS still in the phone or already deleted.
have any of you two popout your SIMs and put it back again? are you still getting the same issue after?

Just tried to remove the SIM and insert it back again. Still no message in the SMS list. Same issue, no message yet.
Well... if that's the case, I would recommend you try doing a factory reset on that phone (it's running in GB right), before you do the factory reset, do try to backup whatever datas you can back it up.
After the wipe, check if those issues are stil there (or not anymore).

Would like to avoid Full Wipe in this case. I'm using ICS now. Are there any other solution? Will consider Full Wipe if nothing can be done.

well if your using ICS now, and if your using also an unsafe kernel.... flash a safe one (e.g. SpeedMod, NotecCore/HydraCore) and your gonna be safe with the Wipe after. Those kernels have the eMMC bug disabled.

If I not wrong there is a setting on SMS, default is reach 200 sms ..it will auto clear ... try disable this function on SMS setting.
For the deleted SMS ... last time I use windows mobile ..there is a deleted folder for SMS .. but after search fews day ..I dont think Android have this SMS deleted folder...
BTW, anyone have facing only particular contact's SMS gone???

Anyone still facing missing SMS issued, any solution?? b'cos I still facing particular SMS missing, the one most SMSs compare others number. my note is stock and not root.
I saw some post saying have to root the phone delete the "sms" system files then will recover back the disappear sms. It was due to existing system file corrupt and recreate it, if not the issue still there.
is it a bug on ICS?
My brother have a xperia mini pro and I saw when a incoming a call his led flashing random colours.
So, isn't there a app or a way to do that to x8?
You can also do that in x8. What is your rom?
In Setting > CMSetting > Interface > LED Notifications
You can configure it there.
But there isn't a option for incoming calls. I use stornmix

Hello, Whatsapp you know that is an important app nowadays, My problem is the next I only can use whatsapp with one o two ROMs (Ligux and OptimusXperia 2.0 ) but if I try to install whatsapp in another ROM i can't.
first the app say "verification sms failed" then if I try to call to receive a code, It sends me other message like a you can't call or something like that. Please if someone knows what's the problem or what I can do... please tell me...

Try UNINSTALLING whatsapp before flashing new rom, then installing from play store in new rom.
Should work.
If it doesn't, the most failproof method is to backup app+data with titanium and restore in the new rom. Should work flawlessly.

Do you use whatsapp plus or holo?
Install original whatsapp and before whatsapp holo/plus
Try to do a security copy before change the rom.

Try THIS App. It sets the Heartbeat intervall for push notifications to a lower value.

Always when im trying to call a number i dont know if my phone is really calling. because when i tap to call a number i dont get visuell feedback. i only can hear the number dialing but cant see it. so i also cant hang up to cancel this
but thats not all. when someone calls me, I just can hear the ring tone, but i dont see anything to accept it. the display just stays as it was before --> after my mailbox got the call, i see a missed call.
someone else have this issue?

On the same ROM after an clean install, but I do not have those issue. I can call and I can receive calls.
Did you dirty flash it?
Which dialer are you using, and is it set as the default in Settings -> Apps -> Default apps?

I did a Full Wipe before.

Thank you very much ... I installed OpenGapps via Aroma installer and uninstalled the stock dialer/replaced it with the google dialer. Ironically it wanst set as dafault app. now it works fine again :good:

Hi, I have a strange problem with my p10.
When I call somebody, the dialer on the notification bar continuously disappears and appears, preventing me from accessing the call interface and hunging up the call, and when i get called the phone rings but i cant answer because the interface doesn't even appear. I already tried to use another dialer app, but the problem remains.

Same problem here since yesterday, dialer go crazy, a can't answer call, if i make call i can't hang up.
I also install new dialer as temporary solutions. What is going on is someone know solution how to fix this??
I got the same problem now aswell, it has to do with some kinda of update, and the phone goes crazy hot while in call...
you should be correct. it goes also very hot in call.
as of now I can't find a solution.
I am working on saving everything I can before a reset...
just to let you know that a factory reset resoled this on my side.
After that, everything goes back to normal.

I install True Phone Dialer & contact. But after i make new app default i got same problem, so then i disable all notification in old app and now it is working ok
