I am really sorry to say this but you are NOT SAFE with LPY. Advice: Just DON'T wipe your phone. And downgrade to a stable GB ROM asap.
Edit: Oh wait! Didn't read the second line

Anybody there??

I'm on Voda n it's beyond the point of annoying how long we have to wait for the up date

I am also waiting for official ICS for UK; I am O2 and my Note is unlocked and Generic UK I think. Its running GB with XXLA6

It says on dripler app that it's rolling out internationally and everyone should get the ota up date, I've still not got it though :-(

If you guys are tired of waiting just flash a suitable one through pc Odin.

O2 UK also, will be waiting for official update though as there are too many horror stories around here of bricked phones by those who can't wait

What shall I do

Ok, I think its time for me to either flash my phone/root or whatever.
I have flashed arabic firmware, I suppose, Idk tbh, but I flashed something (with Odin) to get Arabic keyboard, my phone suffers of some battery problems and not smooth, not what I really expected from Samsung.
Any ideas?
I live in Sweden and I wonder what happened to ISC werent they supposed to fire it on 1st March?

Samsung never said about ICS for Note in March. but it may come in April / May for sure. Only SGS ll Getting ICS this month.
And about your battery drain and Lag issue flash LA4.
If I was to flash LA4, does my Arabic thingie go away?

Official ICS Belgium?

Hi
I was wondering if it's normal that there's still no official ics upgrade available in Belgium. I own a Note who's at 2.3.6 now. No ICS yet.. Checked with OTA update and Kies on my computer... Any idea when this will come around in my area? I have a "XX" phone version which is aught to be a Belgium version of the device.
Thanks in advance

Idem ... no ICS on Galaxy Note.

Which ICS?

I'm currently running a UK Note, non rooted. About a week before the official ICS update was released for UK devices I used Odin to flash the Indian release of the update. I have since downloaded the UK ICS update to my PC but I was wondering if I should bother flashing it. I have no real issues with the version of ICS I'm using so what if any are the benefits of going to the version of the software I'm using compared to the UK official.

Probably won't be much difference at all.

If you have no issue with the current ICS you should not change to the UK version since just as in the second post there will be little difference even if everything goes well.

[Q] How to update to official Jelly Bean

My Dad has the original unlocked Note, and I'm wondering how I can update to the official Jelly Bean without rooting or voiding warranty, as it isn't showing up in the OTA menu.
Open Samsung kies and Let it download the update or go to settings and update via OTA
Let me know if you have issues with this we will walk you through it
I've tried updating via both Kies and in About Phone, both places say that it's the most recent firmware available.
OK you are on a version that hasn't received the OTA yet.
You will have to install it via PC Odin.
Go to Dr.ketan's sticky thread for step by step instructions.

Is it safe to flash HK jelly bean rom to my UK N7000

The waiting on the UK Jelly Bean OTA seems to be forever. Finally I decided to flash the HK rom but wonder if it's safe comparing to other English language roms.
I also have some trouble to backup the storage data because I'm using MacOS. Will it cause some trouble if I dont do that?
Absolutely yes. My note is from Trinidad and Tobago. CSC:TTT. I'm living in the US and bought it from Newegg.
History flashed: Jb 4.0.4 and Jb 4.1.2 leaked and official stock roms. Now I'm on stock rom TTT again

Thank you! I didn't buy my note from Newegg was because they didn't mention there was actually no warranty on the phone.
