I just got a TMOBILE MDA. My first question is by switching my rom to the latest O2 or Imate ROM would it unlock my phone so that i can use it with NON Tmobile sims...?
If not... how can i unlock it without damagin anything?

some unlock your sim but can not unlock CID... but noone explained what CID means .. called id??

Unlocking CID is for flashign ROM.
At your current knowledge, I won't suggest you to flash your ROM. Flashing your ROM without much knowledge can potentially kill your phone.
Just unlocking your phone (SIM unlock) is sufficient for now. I think aWizard can SIM unlock your phone.

think the only way to do that is to flash the rom to the one u want (eg. vodaphone uk - generic uk [sim free]).
there is a thread at the top of the page that tells u how to do this.
I bought a tytn11 which seems to have a orange os on it, But I have a Vodaphone cotract can I swap it at all, I am a new to windows phones. Can anyone help me please.

Flashin ROM for noobs has SIM unlock also may wanna Hard-SPL so you can use custom ROMs have a good read it's really simps if take in bite size chunks
I have a samsung galaxy s i9000t I downloaded the software u guys provide for unlocking the phone I followed the procedures as said in the video after i did it when i turn on my phone it dont ask for unlock code it just has an image of a combination lock and underneath the lock it says "DISMISS"... Am i doing something wrong or need to do something else? I live in P.R and the phone is from a company called (Claro) can anyone HELP, PLEASE? Thanxx in advance...
You probably best going into the thread where the app originates from and asking in there,im sure the dev will help a lot more intenstly then here.

1) Rooting and unlocking the bootloader has nothing to do with sim unlocking. Flashing a custom ROM will NOT sim unlock your phone. Goto a paid for site or speak to your carrier to get sim unlock.
2) There are loads of guides in this forum to root and unlock the T, no need to look under other device forums.
3) Is this a question? I think so for several reasons.....one, I answered it, two, you even said it was a question in your title....guess what, it should be in the QUESTION AND ANSWER section.
