Here you are.

This is a torrent link that IMO will be more easy if you want to pause and resume due to your slow internet connection.

ok i am on the new LPF rom flashed from lpy without any wipes at all with pc odin so far so good i dont really use large files so deleting them is not an issue,i have not not wiped dalvic or anything,i have however flashed modem lp6 with mobile odin as it seems more suited to me in the uk i now have 3g showing more than i did,all s apps work great i used the temp cwm in order to gain root so that ad blocker could be used and of course mobile odin used app backup and restore to put back my apps and the import restore for contacts

To answer your question and as simply put as possible, YES. JG4 is better than the earlier version. It still remains a very subjective matter where people are know to be happy with older versions because they are more stable than new release, etc.....
Quite honestly, I dont remember if the data is stored or is erased. From the word go, I have been flashing both up and down using Odin and that does erase all user and system data.
Cheers....
if u r talking about jpjg4, then it's fine and stable

Can this file "HOME_P3113UEALD3_378347_REV04_user_low_ship.tar.md5" be used on UEALCB?
Any thoughts?
Thanks

Thanks for this. Will be useful once devs start releasing more roms! Flashing AOKP for now though.

The title does say "Odin flash", anyways, flash it just like you flash CWM.
Hope this helps.

Short answer......yes
Long answer............
please do some addition before publicly looking for answers.
1 Stock= factory, unmodified folders
1 Root= added files into system folder, xbin folder and xbin folder, modifying folders
*Root needs the files in those folders
1+1= ????
If you take this the wrong way, sorry but please my post here is too show, that reading up on this is mostly highly advised. Questions like this/these will be eliminated.
Devs/users wont get frustrated and we all stay one happy family

NO lock screen
I was coming from AOKP. I didn't like the general impact so I decided to go back to stock.

Yes, I confirmed that it counts this stock ROM as additional custom firmwares. Now my tab lists 3 custom firmwares so far
Ya, the dose odin keep track of the different firmwares, however when the odin rom is flashed the number is 1.
Wonder if it can changed back to no, and the firmware back to samsungs

You should ask them, I do not know. I flashed whole firmware, and it stuck. I needed to reflash JB to get my phone working.

thanks anyway
from where can i get the kernel of I9070JPLK2 rom ( as i have the rom all backed in one .tar file )
Hi,
I've got the same problem this week. I've upgraded my phone with the russian firmware and, at the first time, I have a very poor performance. Then, I've tried to get back to Gingerbread and got stuck, just like you.
After many tries, I gave up, because I needed to use the phone, then flashed Jelly Bean again. This time the performance was a lot better. I make also a factory reset and rooted the JB and installed No Frills CPU (with conservative governor), and finally I found a good performance, just like the old GB.
Sure, that is a new and modern system, and in a matter of fact it is havier than GB, but with the settings that I told above you may like it. Just give it a try. Overall is better than GB.
Sorry about my english, and good luck.

goto the stock firmware thread, download some JB firmware of ur choice:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2110245
to use Odin, u need to use download mode(power+home+vol.down), not recovery
follow these steps to flash stock JB:

and please, ask in the questions thread, not a new thread.

1) if u have downloaded a file from first link, it's enough. the guide also has a link, but it's older JB firmware.
2) just extract the contents into a directory and set the pda as the md5 file.

There is no such thing as "best rom". It is all personal. Try them and see which one suits YOU best. In case of any troubles just flash back to stock as already mentioned (or get cocore cwm/twrp and create memory snapshot before any kind of modification - so you can revert your phone to that working state). Think windows restoration point that actually works.

I dont know if this can help you but, here is a great tutorial to go back to stock 2.3.6. ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1255305 )
Since the hotfile page is shut down, here is a link to download working firmware (I am using it) http://getwapi.com/down/dir/rar/IGw...&dsid=3oh7jy.ca13a2a94308e8caeecddd9a2dad0f9a
Heads up. If you have a gt s5570l then unfortunately, this will not work, and you can end up with a bricked phone. Hope I helped
